Definitely one of the best Char Siew I had in HongKong, compared other “Michelin” places. Their roasted pork and duck are nice too. You will see a very long queue during lunch hours and usually there won’t be seats to eat in. most people in the queue are ordering for takeaway. Boss was friendly and tried to help me find seats where there wasn’t any and also asked how’s the food. Very friendly and made my day. Do strike up some conversation with the boss if you ever go there.

Had a late lunch there and ordered a tea meal set with barbecue gooses soup noodle and a cup of milk tea. First of all, it is a self-service local cafe. Order and pay at the front desk first. When the food is ready, go to the food counter to bring the food and the utensils to your table. Free seating though. Basically it is operated as a fast food cafe. No service at all. It is required to return the tray and the utensils too. No service at all. The food, the barbecue goose noodle, was not my cup tea. The noodle was a bit too hard for me. The goose was not tender and was a bit The milk was above average though.

Really enjoyed the steamed fish with Chinese pickled and salted vegetables. The crunchy and salty cabbage is some of the best I’ve had in HK, paired with the flaky and tender fish and the savoury sweet soy sauce, this was a satisfying lunch. The only flaw was the environment which is quite dirty with napkins on the floor and used tissues on the table. Kinda self serve but also no 10% which is good.

The fried beef noodle was perfect, but the crispy pork belly was not crispy.

Nothing fancy, but a hidden gem. Good people, honest and fairly priced food, good quality. Of all the available food choices at the Science Park, this is my go-to place. They are great.
