Very cool little spot in Prince Edward, the staff are totally awesome - they got to know us by name and looked after our party really well all evening. They were friendly and jovial without being intrusive; perfect service. The food was good and the drinks were delightful with a few unique creations to try from. The bar has a rustic, shoreditch esque feel, not 100% to my taste, but each to their own! Our evening was worth the relatively high expense on account of the wonderful service and atmosphere.

The best Iced Mocha I have had in HK, didn't have a chance to stay and relax like others but would definitely take a break there next time! I'm sooo glad that I found it while waiting for the traffic light to turn green! LOL

Drink was pretty good. I’m not super into sour drinks and I accidentally ordered one. I’m sure if I ordered a fruity drink it would’ve been good. The atmosphere is super vibey. I was just really disappointed by the salami they served me. It was two sheets of salami thrown on a plate with the wax wrapping paper still on. I get that it’s supposed to be bar food and all but idk it just made me kind of unhappy.

Hong Kong bars are mostly terrible, with the owners terrified to take any sort of risk due to high rents. That means generic, atmosphere-less watering holes are the norm throughout the city. Bound by contrast is a genuinely good bar. It attracts a tattoo / hairstylist / artist crowd, yet isn't pretentious or unwelcoming. The drinks are good and the staff are friendly. Recommended.

Very lovely place in this old neighborhood. Price is also resonable, appox 70hkd per a drink. Can bring your own food into the bar as long as you clean it up yourself. Amazing:)

I was told the bar has a new business owner, I assume it changed hands because it struggles and I can see why it does. It took me to bring a friend here to realize how much of a vibeless seedy joint it has become… Hopefully Bound bounces back? Beer selection in the last couple years has devolved into 50 shades of passable IPA at Tel Aviv prices. You could pay their insane margins for a good selection, but there is not a single stout on the menu—maybe one golden ale bottled a year ago if you’re lucky. No good coffee anymore, either (coffee was a major highlight in my original review). The music is occasionally good, on the days when it’s not loud and bad. On the “goth night” around Halloween they basically played brostep techno at deafening volume the whole time. I pity the neighbors. Some customers are allowed to bring outside food, and I know why they do it—the bar’s kitchen is either closed unexpectedly or just awful, I would not recommend it to an enemy. I was not allowed to eat my food near the bar, though. Similarly, staff makes some people pay up front but not others. It is not really malice but more hands-off mismanagement—staff gives their friends a privilege and treats customers as second grade. Hard to be surprised that the place struggles, and I have to conclude that as of 2023 there is no reason to come here once you know proper strong HK or Taiwanese places to support.

great place for an afternoon coffee meeting, an evening cocktail with mates, a late-night drink with your date... i recommend their sweet cocktails - new romance and loveless, as well as their coffees and bar snacks (esp. their fries!!!!). they host music events during some nights, and have a general queer-friendly vibe.

Cozy, good place to hangout. Quite overpriced tho, especially when some of their beers canned long time ago. The young male staff was a bit rude.
