It's been four years since my last visit before the pandemic and I was so happy the shop is still going strong! Food quality is just as good, maybe even better since I've not had it for so long. The cheong fun and pig skin + radish never fails to satisfy. Always and still a strong recommendation!

You can dine in and there is no need to queue. Just find a seat and place your order from the staff. The food comes quite fast. The Chee Cheong fun is highly recommended. It’s so smooth and most importantly is the sesame sauce! It’s with the right thickness and just the right taste! Radish is awesome while fish balls is just so so. I will come back for more!

Delicious Cheong fun at Sham Shih Po district. It’s cheap as well. Once of the recommended street food if you are in the vicinity.

2023-01-30: the famous rice rolls were good but not as smooth as a few years ago. The daikon radish was pretty good, sweet and tender.

Dining Time (12:03pm lunch) Follow @wojengyea/@wo! It's the real deal for more food information. Support us in discovering more delicious food! 😋 N years ago, I had their rice noodle rolls and couldn't forget about them. Today, I went to try them again. A medium plate of rice noodle rolls costs $15 for six pieces, and they are incredibly smooth. (Important reminder🥁🥁) If you don’t like too much sauce, remember to tell them when ordering, or else they will give you loads of soy sauce and sesame sauce. I forgot to mention it, so I ended up with too much sesame sauce on my plate. To balance the flavor, I had to add some sweet sauce.🍭 I always have either fish balls🐟 or siu mai to go with my rice noodle rolls. The siu mai costs $10 for six pieces, and it tastes ok la. I also ordered a plate of fried noodles. Their fried noodles🍝 are not as greasy, dark, or chewy as those from other places. The noodles are soft and have a unique texture, different from the ones you would find in congee and noodle shops. The advantage is that they are not too oily. The fried noodles is flavourful with garlic chives and bean sprouts, it only costs $13. The cold soy milk🥛costs $6, but the soy flavor is quite mild. It tastes mostly sweet, and I'm not sure why there are so many bubbles on the surface. Restaurant ambiance: The restaurant is super crowded and you can't even think about placing your bag🧰on an empty chair. The waitresses will scold you for that😂 . Typically, people eat quickly and leave immediately, so don't expect to sit around and chat with friends.

Famous, always busy place famous for their rolled rice noodles 腸粉. Smaller portion is 4/$10. A paper cup of soy milk $6. Cheap eats if you don't mind sharing tables, crowded in and out place.

My last visit here was pre-pandemic and I’m so glad that this place survived thanks to the locals. The rice noodles (cheung fun) taste just as good as I remembered. There’s always a short queue here for the rice noodle stand, but the lady working the stand is as efficient as ever. You can definitely dine inside if you’re having more food, but if you’re solely here to order the rice noodles, you can either grab take out or the “dine in” option in which they serve it to you on a plate and you can eat it in the alleyway beside the store, and drop off your dirty plates in a bucket before leaving.

A small corner stall that sells one of HK’s favourite food: 肠粉.

Very affordable diner with decent selection of breakfast/lunch menu. I ordered rolled rice noodles (medium) as it is one of my favorite childhood dishes and this place does not disappoint me. The noodles were very soft and it is a must to add hoisin sauce, peanut sauce and sesame they provided on the table. The noodle is exactly how I like it, will have to try other food in the menu next time. You can order food to-go to the staff right at the front of the store.

A casual eatery famous for HK style street food at an affordable price. The rice noodles with mixed sauces are very popular here. Freshly steamed. The fish balls and pork skin are also famous, but I didn't get a chance to try them. This place brings back childhood memories! Worth a visit if you are nearby 👍😋

One of the overrated local cheap eats in Sham Shui Po. It’s featured in Michelin Street Food Guide and widely popular for their rice noodle rolls. They source the rice noodle rolls from reputable food factory but the quality tends to change from time to time due to high demand. It’s not bad and it is CHEAP for sure. Recommend to order TAKEOUT.

Spend less money and you can enjoy Michelin recommended street food. Famous in flour rolls (Cheung Fan). You can add sweet sauce, chilli sauce and sasemes. Pig skin, fish balls and turnip are also popularly ordered food. Only $10 for a small size, 4 pieces of flour rolls. Really bargain at the moment. $30 for a combo of pig skin, fish balls and turnip. You can eat inside or outside on the street. Please prepare yourself for no service, crowded sit together tables with other people and hygiene issues.

Nice breakfast place with local flair. We visited at 7am on a Sun and we were seated immediately. Service staff auntie is nice and she helped with our ordering. Unique rice roll with peanut sauce taste good. Century egg porridge is nice too.

This is a classic spot in Hong Kong for cheung fun (腸粉 ceong2 fan2). If you’re looking for a quick, cheap snack, this place is perfect and located smack dab in the midst of Sham Shui Po’s bustling Apliu Street Flea market, steps away from MTR exit C2. The cheung fun is soft, squishy, and tender and the mixture of sauces creates a party in your mouth. You’ll get hints of peanut, sweetness, sesame, and soy. As of right now, it’s 5 HKD for 2 pieces, 10 HKD for 4 pieces, 15 HKD for 6 pieces etc. I got the 6 piece one. You can eat inside, take out, or in the alleyway beside the restaurant . I would recommend eating outside as it adds to the experience. Once you’re done eating, you can return the plate to the bin in front of the cheung fun station. There is usually a line, but it goes by fast.
