Nice cosy place to meet and drink at. Very casual and really good service too. Plenty of drink and cocktail choices and decent food options to accompany. Not too loud so you can still have a good conversation. Worth visiting if near the neighborhood.

Had the best time here for my birthday last night. Was able to reserve a few tables outside in the cute patio garden, which was perfect for meeting friends, sharing some delicious rose and meat/cheese platters. The cocktails were incredible too, and the service! Very friendly and so helpful. Will be coming back for sure :)

Very cozy atmosphere with kind and attentive staff! Great for a romantic dinner date! Very affordable and delicious wine. Sadly no coffee for coffee cocktails.

Didn’t even know this place existed until this evening. I only ducked in to get out of the biblical rainstorm that was taking place. What an absolute find. This has to be one of the nicest, coolest and most welcoming pubs in North London. I was soaked to the skin when I arrived but the guys behind the bar offered me both a towel and seat next to their real fire to dry off. Dimly lit, elegant place playing fantastic, laid back 70’s music. I can’t say enough good things about my brief visit hear. But the lady and gentleman that served me really made it such a great experience. So friendly, so professional, an absolute credit to whoever owns the place. There was train strike today so I had to get the bus from the stop across the street so after a couple of bourbons I was on my way. But honestly, pay this place a visit. Outstanding on every single level! Thanks guys.

We had our pre-wedding event at the Racketeer and it was seriously phenomenal. The venue is absolutely lovely and our guests loved the courtyard and general overall vibe. The drinks were also fantastic and the staff were so kind to all of us all night, which made it feel super special. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Thanks again so much to the staff and I highly recommend this venue for events of any kind.

Proper cocktails, in delicate, small glasses. And all weird and wonderful in their own ways, reasonable price too. Came here with a group of 6 on a Thursday. Didn’t book a table but the staff were lovely and gave us the next available table, got seated after an hour or so which is a miracle since the place was packed. Not the place for food and snacks so I recommend dinner somewhere else before. Or after! A bitter sour whiskey cocktail fan, Earl of Sevilla was 👌

I hired out the back area and courtyard for an engagement party. The team at the Racketeer were so accomodating and helpful. The venue is beautiful and just perfect for around 30 guests. The drinks were lovely and the staff were incredibly kind. I can't wait to return and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a venue to hire!

Amazing experience at the Racketeer for a 32nd birthday party. The semi-private room at the back is a perfect space for a small event, with stylish interiors and use of a pretty private patio. Cocktails are reasonably priced and delicious! Thank you to Marco for excellent communication and service throughout. Would definitely recommend.

We visited this quaint cocktail bar while staying in Kings cross London. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the decor, and the biggest surprise was the downstairs area, just a shame it wasn’t open due to the season. We had a couple of gin cocktails and a delicious Charcutere meat selection board, which was wonderful. Prices were good to. Would highly recommend a visit if your in the area.

All the staff were very friendly. My friend and I tried the majority of the amazing house cocktails (Same as any other real cocktail place good variety of size and taste). Not sure if the house menu changes but if it does and I make it back, I would definitely be keen to try what else they mix up. Was also told you could request off menu cocktails as we were running out of options. Went to this gem last Saturday on a weekend trip as it was close to our hotel and it was miserable weather, the good ambiance and service kept us there all night. Had no real food but had good snacks and tasty olives.

Held a surprise birthday party here recently. The staff were super accommodating, even closed the curtains to keep the guests hidden from view outside! And let us stay right up till 1am without issue. Cocktails were great, definitely a hidden gem around the KX area. Would recommend for any occasion!

While it's hard to pinpoint any particular reason why this place is so wonderful, but it is. The decor and vibe are elevated yet comfortable cozy, service is wonderful, drinks are good, bites are yummy, and it's not overly expensive. There's also a cool room outside the bathrooms of all places that you just want to hang out in. Will definitely return.

Such an awesome place! I hired the basement room for a Jazz themed party and it was perfect. Super cool joint, and the downstairs cocktail bar was amazing, with Francesco being the best bartender.

Came to hang out with a small group of friends and we all had a great time! The bar itself is cosy and had great decor, as well as a vast array of drink options. The food was also great, I would just say its more snacks with your drinks as opposed to something that will fill you up 🧀🍷I would recommend if you are near King’s Cross and want to go somewhere with a bit more character as it’s not far from the station at all.

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Racketeer, and we had the most wonderful time! The service is excellent -- I was even welcomed with a glass of champagne upon my arrival. The atmosphere is perfect -- cozy but elegant, subtle holiday decorations, beautiful vintage furniture with lots of warm and welcoming textures and colors. And the drinks are insane -- we all agreed they are the best, perfectly creative (but not overwhelming), cocktails we've had. Thanks for an amazing evening!!! We will 100% be back.

One year living in London, I can definitely say this is my favorite place to get drinks in the area. The staff is very friendly, the beers they offer are great (they even have a weissbier) and they have things like mezcal as well. The interior design is top notch, this place is really special!!!

Love this place. Super chilled staff and great ambiance. Great selection on drinks. Was slightly worried I was going to get locked in the toilet and Richard O’Brien was going to start yelling at me that I had a minute left to find the crystal, but he didn’t and I was able to leave ok.

Nicely conceived ambiance, well crafted cocktails. The Racketeer Sour is especially tasty. A terrific place in an area (between Exmouth Market and Kings Cross) that is otherwise slightly lacking. Most staff are quite friendly, but you can’t rely on the posted opening hours. On our last (attempted) visit we arrived here for an after-dinner nightcap 30+ minutes before closing, only to be turfed out, told that last orders had been taken. Crowd can be lairy. Need to hit this place at the right time.

We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to have a wander round the neighbourhood rather than staying in the hotel bar. We were really pleased to come across the Racketeer, a super bar with friendly staff and a chilled out atmosphere. It offers an impressive menu of cocktails (other drinks are available if the fancy stuff is not your thing) with something for almost everyone. I had a Trinidad Swizzle, a long fruity drink which tasted amazing and was beautifully presented too. My other half is a big fan of an Old Fashioned so he went for the Racketeer's twist on this classic which he really enjoyed. If you're a cocktail fan and you're in the area, or passing on the number 63 bus, then drop in and try something delicious, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in for a cocktail on Saturday night and received great, friendly and attentive service. The cocktail I had was lovely too. The only issue we found was that we couldn't get away from the constant cigarette smoke coming into the bar from a table outside, which was making me cough. We initially were sat right by the window but moved to another table by the side of the bar to try to distance from it. It was still quite strong there though and I think that's just because it's a small bar and the front is mostly open.

My then girlfriend (now wife) and I visited London back in late-April of 2022. Our shared passion is food and drinks. We spent some time wandering around London checking out various spots and eventually found The Racketeer via Google and it looked like the exact spot we were looking for. Right away The Racketeer was super cool. The vibe was more relaxed than we expected which was an immediate positive—the bartender was inviting and helpful, and the drinks were really well done and delicious. Among the several drinks we each had, my favorite was the Penicillin in a Storm which I highly recommend everyone try if it is on the menu (maybe they'll even go off menu if you mention it). It is a blended scotch based frozen drink with porter beer poured on top when it's finished being crafted... it is still one of the best drinks I have had to my memory. We wish we lived in London so we could frequent the place. Overall, definitely recommend everyone check this place out for an unpretentious approach to top-notch cocktails with a track-record of amazing staff members and an atmosphere that you will be sure to enjoy regardless of whether you are solo for the night or going out with a group. (We did not have food as we had reservations elsewhere, but would love to try it when we come back in the future.)

We had a birthday party exclusive hire at the Racketeer last weekend and it was just the perfect venue. A wonderful space for a fun party, great atmosphere, fabulous cocktails and the staff were exceptional in the run up to planning it and on the night itself. We really enjoyed the downstairs cellar room for a late night dance with our friends. Couldn’t have asked for more… Thank you to Marco and the whole team there, Zoe and Robin

Nothing short of brilliant! From start to finish, we were looked after by a kind, smiling and professional team – with bespoke, knowledgeable and prompt advice. The attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of our event was meticulously curated. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Happily surprised to benefit from a dedicated intimate space over the beautiful courtyard, made such a difference to vibe making our evening filled with excitement, joy, and unforgettable memories. Big plus: delicious food, drinks and beautiful decor! We will definitely come back and curate new lifetime memories at the Racketeer!
