Nice burgers and nice atmosphere. This was my second time there, but the first one ordering food. It is usually crowded, but not at Spaniards lunch time (early dinner for Britons). They have some kind of “happy meal package” quite convenient if you want your meal with a refreshing soda or juice (not my case). Even otherwise, it is not too expensive. A good option, among others, in the neighbourhood.

Stopped in for a few drinks after dinner near by. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. Pretty decent selection of cocktails and varied beer options on tap. DJ was playing some good jams.

We had a table booked for 8 people on a Saturday night. 3 of us arrived first and were told by the bouncers we couldn’t get in till the rest of our group arrived as they needed to check if they were as drunk as us. No one in the group was drunk so this felt odd but fair enough. When the rest of the group arrived we were let in no questions asked. I went to the bar and bought a round of drinks and was approached by a women, who I assume was the manager, who asked why I was buying the drinks. She was accusing the group of being overly drunk and saying we need to watch what we were drinking and that we should have the water they left on our table instead. It really soured the mood of the whole group and we felt like we were being watched/couldn’t go to the bar for drinks. Any other time, we would’ve left and gone elsewhere. The bartenders were great and we ended up having a good night, mainly down to the company rather than the bar itself. I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone due to the actions of the manager.

An absolutely brilliant venue. The team are super friendly and the beers super cold too. The outside area was buzzing and the quiz inside a lot of fun, lots of space to move about and cope when it's really busy too. I tried the chicken burger which was delicious too. A great location in a car free area. A fun visit and can't thank the team enough.

I came with a friend to have lunch after a shopping day around Brick Lane. There is a 10GBP lunch offer until 4 pm with a burguer with fries. Delicious!! There's also a vegetarian option, which is equally yummy, according to my friend.

My first time down at Big chill bricklane an I will defo be back. Staff were super friendly especially Jermaine who went out his way to make sure we had a fab time! Music was just how we like it. Drinks were nice an affordable an not over priced. Defo a 10 out 10 an we will see soon Big chill bar!

We were drawn in by the music when walking by on a Friday night. The place wasn't busy at all, but the music was great, the drinks were nice and not expensive, and the food was tasty. We sat inside, while the outside seating area seemed to be more popular and quite busy.

Had a great night here with our team after a work do! The best part was definitely the service by our bartender, Stephanie. She rocked. Also, the live music was class. Big Chill is defo becoming a regular spot for us

We had our work Xmas party at the big chill and was really impressed with the service received. Everything was as agreed and more, the team took the time to decorate the venue for us which was a nice surprise and touch. Throughout the night the bar staff and security were very accommodating and the biggest compliment I can give is that all my colleagues were congratulating me for organising a great Xmas party! Thanks again guys and hopefully see you next year!

Absolutely love the brand. Love both venues. Jermaine from brick lane and Joshua from King’s Cross are both absolutely fantastic! Couldn’t rate them any higher. 10/10. Great vibes at both venues and you will have a fantastic time! Enjoy and hope this review makes you try Big Chill!

I popped in to the Big Chill for a catch up with a friend, this afternoon. It felt so nostalgic being back, during the early 2010’s Brick Lane used to be my old stomping ground. We stayed for two rounds of Guiness and apple juice and lemonade. Place has been updated since the ‘good old, bad old days’. Lovely decor, with neon light statement piece “if these walls could talk…” Hmm... need I say more? The staff were pleasant enough. We reminisced on our days of working and socialising in Shoreditch and our plans for the rest of the year. We had a group of friends on the table next to us, which I assume were doing somewhat of the same. My Apple juice and lemonade came in a great big tumbler, which I liked. There is a football game table as you enter to your right, and comfortable padded seating too. I like that the Big Chill is just a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle in Shoreditch, around lunch time. We were able to have a chat, couple of drinks and leave after about an hour. Will come again for sure.

Had a booking for me and my friends to have a catch up, which turned into an awesome night of shots and incredible food! We ordered our drinks with Steph who definitely got the party started! The cocktails were amazing and she recommended the best food on the menu! Felt the shots the next morning.. but would 100% go back! Also great for those who vape/ smoke with outdoor seating under a large canopy for when it rains!

Been in several times for lunch and always been greeted by the GM Jermaine who is always full of positive energy and the 2nd time I came in with my mum and he was such a gentlemen - Such a delight to see a young GM who comes across so respectful and polite and really does build a report with customers. Well done Big Chill great choice of manager

I went to Big Chill last night and I really loved it. Ema suggested some very nice cocktails that we enjoyed a lot. The food was very tasty as well and the place is much fun. Will definetely come back.

Bar was pretty slow to be served, food was pretty quick to come. Good was very nice but the burger was a tad on the small side.

Big Chill on Brick Lane is a good shout if you're looking for a night out. There's a tropical vibe, neon signs, and a DJ mixing up pulse-quickening music every Thursday to Saturday. the food is also now on point thanks to the help of the Chuck Burgers producing awesome burgers and American style including loaded fries. I highly recommend the Chilli Cheeseburger. There are also comfy sofas to sit on. Despite being quite spacious, it will be busy given its prime location. Fortunately, there's an outside front terrace where you can grab some fresh air. At the time of writing (Feb 2019), Big Chill has re-launched with a new menu and interiors. Overall, think they've done a good job. The reason why it doesn't get a higher rating from me is because it's got a club feel with loud music. Fone for most people but conversation will be naturally hard to maintain and that isn't for me. If you've been before, I'd suggest you go again to see the new facelift.

I lost my charger on Thursday eve at Big Chill, the staff were so accommodating when I contacted them that they actually went out of their way to buy me one. Thank you so much Aaran for organising that and everyone who helped. Such a small act of kindness but it seriously made my day🥰 Oh and we all had such a fab time there too!

The place is lovely, and the music is fantastic. It's a really cool place to spend a weekend night. It's also mostly crowded on weekends. You can also drink outside, which is convenient.

I got a Karma Kola. On entering we were told that 'happy hour' was starting soon. The staff is very kind and helpfull. They have quite a few cocktails and other beverages. Lucky for me there are also non alcoholic options. The Karma Kola is pretty good tasting. The toilets are also very clean. I do suggest to visit this place when you're in the area.

Me and my friend was walking around Brick Lane looking for a place we can sit, chill out and have lunch that didnt break the bank. We stumbled upon this place and we immediately found the environment to be warm and comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly, the food was alright. The buttermilk fried chicken was very crispy, then had our sauces of choice sprayed on top of it rather than cooked in it, but still nice. The music varied, but wasn't too loud, so me and my friend were able to have a nice conversation. I recommend this place for anyone looking to just chill out for brunch and a chat.

Dissapointing really. Cocktails are far from the best, but price is correct for London. Beers half full taken off the table when you're not around. And bar closes earlier than what's shown, and won't serve you even few minutes before bar closes/being cleaned. Discounts offers not being respected too. Bartenders are nice yet indifferent , although the place has a nice atmospher. Would recommend maybe but definitely not at night as they seem to be in a hurry to close the place.

The place is a bit of an echo-y hallway, but on a super location. Drinks were (taste-wise) decent, the cocktail filled up with close to a bucket of ice. Bit much and rather agressively jammed in. Still, a nice place, maybe for a slightly younger audience than us (50+). All in all, good for a few drinks and some banter.

I’ve been coming to big chill for the past couple weeks and have no bad word to say about the bar. I look forward to going there on nights out and especially enjoy the wonderful customer service from Rachel and Luis. Rachel makes the best Watermelon Gin Pitcher and Apricot Smash and is very friendly and welcoming. Similarly Luis makes the best Pon de Punch and is also very welcoming. Really enjoyed the customer service I received and other bars could learn from them!

Cool beer options and awesome foods I'll definitely come back for the food! I had the cheese chuck burger with 6 pieces of buttermilk chicken wings with jerk bbq sauce, so yum! This venue have lots of seatings indoors and outdoor, very spacious, enough room to walk around. It's a one way system with arrows on the floor so make sure you're walking on the right side. They have you check in with the NHS check in and they'll take you to your table, they'll also do table service while you sit down.

Good choice of drinks here! Loved the orange beer there, sounds weird but was great. Friendly staff too

I was served by Libby all night, i hope that’s how you spell her name. She was so kind and polite, I spent more than i should but was worth it considering her hospitaly. My group were leaving after one drink on our pub crawl but ended up staying till close because of her, give her a pay rise !!!

Cute, warm, inviting atmosphere. Drinks were delicious and the Southern Seoul burger we had was juicy and flavorful! Jermaine took great care of us & even gifted my friend with a complimentary bottle of champagne for her birthday.

We returned to Big Chill Brick Lane this week. Unfortunately, the place was almost empty, only a couple of the heaters were working outside. The prices - as expected - were high. We paid for three rounds of drinks. Five minutes after we paid at the bar for the our last round, one of the staff approached us to say the payment did not go through. We paid again only to find out a day later that they double-charged us for absolutely no reason. I am uncertain why this has happened or why the staff failed to realize their mistake, yet at £7-8 a pint it did cost us some money and we are fairly disappointed.

I was there to celebrate my 30th birthday - and what a night the team at Big Chill put on for us! Thank you to Jermaine and his team for making it a night to remember (or not!) The private space at the back was perfect for what we needed. Looking forward to going back on a regular Saturday night now.
