Good pub to hang out in - few different angles to see TVs, but they aren't intrusive. Good outdoor seating, and I thought the lighted taps were neat too... sometimes it's the little things! Everyone was exceptionally kind, and ordering was easy. Food did take a long time to come, though. Wasn't too bothered, I would still recommend this place if you aren't in a hurry.

My favourite pub in London, always have a laugh with the staff, that's if they can get my name right!!! The food looks good, but only ate Sunday roast there. To sum up just a great pub. Five gold stars all the way ✨️

Visiting a lively local pub in London was a delight. The IPA beer had a robust flavor, and the beef stew pie was a savory marvel. The vibrant atmosphere of the UK pub, filled with chatter and laughter, added to the experience. I would enthusiastically rate it a perfect 5 out of 5. It encapsulated the essence of British pub culture—great brews, hearty food, and a convivial ambiance.

Friendly staff. Only one on and chasing her tail. Food!, pub grub. Great pies. Could do with a refresh. Would use again. Toilets are upstairs.

Fantastic little pub in soho. Perfect for watching the football, with loads of screens. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a good view of the screens! Good prices and plenty of tables & seating. Only had drinks here but the food looked good, so I’ll probably give it a go if I come back to watch a different football match.

Friendly people and a good atmosphere. Supposedly, Karl Marx used to visit this pub "back in the day". I visited a few days ago with a friend and we had a really nice conversation about settler colonialism. Guess Marx's spirit is haunting the place.

Went on a Saturday night and thought we’d go in for a quick drink before heading elsewhere. Such a dirty and run down place it’s no wonder there was nobody in there compared to the pub down the street. We Spent half an hour watching a mouse run around the floor of the bar before running behind it and sitting in the shelves with the shwepps bottles. only 2/5 toilet cubicles actually work in the women’s and the ones that did work were filthy. Definitely try else where and I wouldn’t look at getting food there knowing there’s mice living behind the bar.

Long waiting times. We arrived 12:30pm and ordered just two beers and fish and chips. They told us the food was going to be ready in 30min (longer than anybody could have expected but we accepted). After 45min waiting we decided to ask for a refund of the food as it was our last day visiting London and we didn’t want to waste more time in a cold restaurant (it was cold and rainy outside, and the place just felt the same). They could have refunded the beers, and put them on the house, but they know nothing about customer experience and about how to be fair. Sad that this kind of things happen nowadays

Bar staff were very friendly! Food very reasonably priced for London and tasty. Pub smelled strongly of beer (quelle suprise I guess) and the gents were a right state, no locks on the doors. However, nothing like a bit of peril to get the bowels moving. We were welcomed by the staff and treated courteously.

Excelent place. The atmosphere is what expected of a London pub. Food is good variety and quality. Beer is excellent. They have on tv the main sports of the day. When it's over, put music and turn it off.

It was our first first dinner in London. My friend ordered for us (a party of six). The service staff did outstanding with delivery time, getting the order straight, and answering stupid questions like, " what are mushy peas?" Having never been in London before, I was looking for the kind of place they show in movies and on TV. And that's what we got. Loved the atmosphere and the food. Definitely will stop here again next time I'm in town.

Fantastic pub with a good variety of traditional and modern meals and small plates. Good range of craft beers and the most lovely staff! Went for lunch and a few days later for dinner and was perfect both times. Highly recommended the Kaarage 🐔🍗

I must say, out of all English pubs you could walk into this one was extraordinary when it came to food. What a great menu and preparation. We had two sets of karaage, the halloumi was delicious and the burger felt really meaty and had a rich taste. We are super happy about our choice and also they showed the Champions League. Great staff and reasonable pricing for being “expensive London”. Visit!

Only stopped in for a quick beer. Nice place, bathroom dirty though, door to bathroom doesn't fully close and can't keep the sink running to wash hands so could be improved but it is an attractive place

Nice pub, food is OK. Been there a couple of time, I enjoyed my time. One of the time was during the 1st England match for world's Cup. I don't know why they planned only 2 people on shift, but the two ladies worked so hard, and did an amazing job. I was feeling for them. That amount of people, that chaos, and they did they their job smoothly, nicely, and looked really confident. So, well done ladies. Keep it up.

Good place with good beer and food. The rest room is on the 1st floor, you have to rise, and feeling yourself like a star after several mugs of beers; that's why I think it's called the rising sun.

This is a great local pub with excellent atmosphere and a top range of real ales and other beers. I've been to several pubs around the city. Coldest pint by far. The beers rotate which keeps things interesting. Friendly staff who seem to be enjoying themselves as well as being attentive at the bar. The pub is clean and has great character. I really like this place, it is everything a good pub should be. Certainly one of the best pubs in London! Worth popping in for sure! Will certainly be back.

A really good Greene King city pub. Sparkly clean and friendly people behind the bar. Placed our order and it was brought to us. The outside tables catch the sun making it lovely for a refreshment stop if you like rays. Plenty of space inside if the weather's not so good or you're fair skinned. The pint of diet Coke had enough, but not too much ice and the slice of lemon was perfect. The GK IPA was as good as it gets, but I'm a biased life long devotee. The toilets are up a couple of flights of stairs, but they're clean and airy. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and need a sit-down and refreshments.

Excellent food and good beer. Should be 4.5 rating. When I ordered the food and drink, the barman forgot about my drink and got my food order wrong. What made up for that was three things. 1. The food was really good. 2. The beer is well looked after. 3. The landlady brought a smile to the place, and was helpful. The barman was like the walking dead, probably a descendant from one of the 7 dwarfs (grumpy) Should be 4.5, but I could not say 4, reason why I gave a 5.

Good range of meals on offer and reasonable prices too. We ordered 3 different options...shame the steak skewers had sold out! All arrived quickly and piping hot, just what we needed after a long day and before our train journey home. Staff were cheerful too.

Great service, good beer selection and really good food, oh and a super location. What more do you want? Oh yes, plenty of screens showning the match of the moment.

16 of us visited last Saturday and had an amazing time. All the staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Special thanks goes to Ben who managed to fit our large group into a lovely area, the gentleman who kindly adjusted the music volume for us, and the lady who swiftly resolved one food issue (sorry didn't get their names). But every staff serving us were lovely. We are very happy and definitely returning soon :).

Great bar and great location!! Shout out to the Aussie bartender Zoe for great service when I came through with my mates! She had great knowledge of the menu for food and drinks and provided amazing recommendations!! I’d definitely suggest checking this place out if you’re every around for a pint and some food. Will return soon! :)
