A great busy pub on a busy junction in Hackney. The Pembury Tavern feels like all things to all people. Eclectic beers from Revolution Brewery. Great service and the rarest of all sights in London, a bar billiards table. Great visit.

A great pub with a local feel, but hosting some amazing craft beers. Had great guest beers from Turning Point on when I visited, as well as their own beers (pub is ran by The Five Points Brewery). They keep the beers in great condition and at a decent price for London too. Currently table service only which is a little bit of a pain as you have to get staff attention, but it's not really a big deal. Also serves amazing pizzas up, with the menu having a few bold different offerings. Staff were helpful and the pub is dog friendly.

MUST READ!!!! No star if possible but one will have to do. Went in on the off chance and ordered a Double Pep, straight away was met with a dirty look and got suggested to try out the vegan pizza. Last thing I need after a long hard day at work, is someone telling me what to do or eat despite ordering what I wanted in the first place. I let the uncalled for comment slide since I was hungry. Whilst waiting for my pizza to be cooked, I ordered one of their expensive craft beer that tasted of gnat's p*ss and I should of taken the hint and ran for it. Don't even get me started on the ''pizza''. It might as well been the vegan pizza since there was barely any pepperoni on the ''Double Pep'' that was served to me warm and what suspiciously looked like a side order of a hair strand. I asked for a refund and given but not without attitude from bar staff. Do yourself a favour and got across the road to the kebab shop just like did straight after and have a good time.

Love the seasonal selection of beers and ales. Went to visit for St Davids day and enjoyed a couple of lovely Welsh ales. 🐉🍺

Great beer, 3 handpulls dedicated to Five Points’ own beers, another three cask lines for guest ales and 16(!) keg lines. Plus wonderful pizza by Ace and OG bar billiards. The perfect pub

It’s grown on me as the beer selection has grown too 5 points are great but now there’s non hoppy beers too and wine and pizza is good. It’s super busy at the normal peak times. Pics from Sunday. I prefer it when it’s quite bit then That’s me. 5 points have given new life to the Pembury. Looks improved. It lost some of its pub feel, it’s now a tap room. Re name it a tap room not a tavern any more but good enough. Staff super friendly. Good vibes

My first visit in about 10 years. The pub has moved on from being a Milton brewery outlet operated by Individual pubs to a Five Points outlet. 6 hand pumps with 4 beers plus 14 keg taps. Still definitely worth a visit.

A good modern pub, selling fantastic cask ale and new age English beers (Hackney 5 points HQ). Often quite busy and with a mixed bag vibe. A bit disjointed from my experience. More like that of a bar, with little groups spread out. Not too cosy although it is nice and warm and with good lighting. Pizzas seem popular so I assume they're good. Had a solo pint last week and didn't have any patter or niceties with any staff. I've visited a handful of times due to the beer and overall good set up. Good place seemingly to reserve areas as a group.

A really nice pub. An old working mens club to be taken over by a trendy brewery could be a recipe for disaster but this is a really nice place. It gets busy but never too busy. The pizza is great. Best of all it has an old bar billiards table, not many of them around anymore, hope it stays there forever

I came here for the pizza, which I was told is the best in London, and while I'm not sure I agree, it's definitely worth the conversation. It was really good. The pub in general has a great vibe, a large indoor area that was buzzing with happy clientele. The facilities were clean, and the staff were for the most part very cool. There seems to be a great sense of community behind and in front of the bar, and they know their beers. Definitely worth the revisit!

Despite being right on a really busy intersection, this is a really nice bar, once you get inside it’s airy and tasteful with a great range of cask and craft ales. Pizzas look good too, but wasn’t hungry in the heat #14 #27

This place is a real gem if you're looking to drink cask ales. Excellently kept ales that are hand pumped through a sparkler top. Prices are kept very reasonable and there's usually some good guest beer options on top of the excellent range of Five Points alea. Staff have always been friendly. The venue is clean. What's not to love?

Big spacious pub owned by the Five Points brewery. Great place for drinking with mates

Staff is wonderful and the pub is big with lots of tables. We had pizza. Unfortunately for me the pizza was far too salty for my taste. They do put sesame seeds around the outside of the crust and it adds a wonderful nutty flavor. They have a good variety of different pizzas so give it a try.

Good place for a pint and a pizza. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Excellent pizza, well made crust, good range of veggie , vegan and meat toppings. Interesting range of real beers. Porter particularly fine. Bit noisy but atmosphere good. Recommend

What a cool place. The tavern is a beautiful bar, the beers are by five points and other guest breweries. The pizzas were surprisingly good. Really, a great place to go if you are looking for a nice beer or ale.

A nice pub with a good selection of beer and cider. They also serve really delicious pizzas, especially the double pepperoni! It does get quite busy and the service then becomes a bit chaotic but overall it's a good place for a casual hang out.

I love the Pembury Tavern. It's themed upon in the traditional/Victorian saloon style. They have great cask beers on (including Five Points Best and Railway Porter permanently). Cask is always kept superbly although I have had an issue with dirty glasses.

Large dog friendly pub - we had a table booked for 15 for drinks and pizzas on a Saturday afternoon and we were not cramped. Pizza was exceptional - great flavours and "proper" Neapolitan pizza rather than rubbish bland base. Reasonable beer selection.

Great pub with a chilled atmosphere. We ordered a couple of pizza's the chilli honey (can't remember the name) pizza was out of this world and the crack sauce was a delicious bonus Friendly staff too which is a bonus

Monday evenings are a little quiet, but still there's atmosphere here. There's a quiz night for those who wish to join. Great selection of cask ales and drinks. Food served midweek to the weekend. You can reserve a table or rock up at the door, you may just get in!
