    Unfortunately a very disappointing experience compared to last time I was here. I'm not sure what happened by the service has deteriorated severely. It took an hour for the desert to come and we had to ask twice. They forgot to bring one of our dishes and had already started collecting our plates and utensils. We asked for warm water and they brought boiling hot water. They left my tea on a side table and forgot to refill it until asked. The dishes were not introduced. The sauces were not introduced. Service would be ok for an average restaurant but absolutely unacceptable for a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Unfortunately will not be coming here again, I was expecting better. Food was pretty good. View was excellent. Unfortunate that the experience was spoiled by the service

    All the dishes I've had here were excellent. There's a sense of luxury and a great atmosphere. The staff is also kind, making dining here was such a delightful experience. I definitely want to come back.

    Lovely Cantonese cuisine at Lai Ching Heen. Highlights include the scallops with minced shrimp, golden stuffed crab shell - the crabmeat so sweet and the breadcrumbs crust golden toasty. Also, a not-to-miss is their fried rice with conpoy and egg white. This was way beyond expectations - seasoning on point, chopped crunchy kale, luscious egg white bits together with the rice loose and fluffy. Pure attention to every detail, superb!

    An excellent choice if you are looking to impress and indulge. Delicious and exquisite Cantonese cuisine with a view of the Bay. Selected the $888 premium lunch set, and it was worth the slightly high price-tag. Restaurant even threw in a small cake after learning that it was a birthday celebration. Great overall experience.

Food was up to standard, the barbecue pork was good and the frog legs was good too. The barbecue duck meat styled bun tasted like the barbecue pork bun. Finally we had the Hokkien Fried Rice.     A luxurious Cantonese restaurant situated in the bottle level of Regal Hotel facing the waters of Victoria Harbour, Lai Ching Heen has a good balance of great service, beautiful views and good food. I came here for a lunch service. The restaurant did fill up, but it is very spacious and not too loud. The views are amazing and you don't feel too rushed when you are inside. Staff were overall quite friendly, but sometimes lacked attentiveness or attention to detail. One of the wait staff also overpoured the tea and it went over the table and sometimes couldn't see that we needed some assistance. Menu wise, there was a wide selection the tea and choice of food. The dim sums overall wasn't too bad, probably lacked some finesse compared to similar Michelin Cantonese restaurants, however the presentation and flavour was nice. The main stand out was the sparkling tea, poached pear dessert and the ginger and century egg (perfect yolk). Overall, a good experience 😋👍

    I feel sad to write this but I felt it failed to meet expectations. The service was subpar. We were sat with a great view of the HK central skyline and the decor was great. Sadly this is where it ends. I've been to two star and three star michelin rated with better service. The waits between dishes were long and we've had to request them to proceed with our dinner. They forget that certain people at the table were left-handed and continued to place everything right handed for everyone. I definitely expected more. The food was okay at best. The duck wasn't particularly anything special. The skin wasn't as crispy as I've experienced in other restaurants and I failed to see why this place is significantly better than other Peking duck restaurants. The playing for everything was beautiful but I wish it's flavors matched it's appearance.

    Immensely impressed with the top notch inviting service and exquisite Cantonese cuisine from Executive Chef Lau. We had visited this restaurant a couple times for dim sum when it was under the name Yan Toh Heen. Since Regent Hotel had finished its complete revamp last October and this restaurant has been renamed Lai Ching Heen, this will be our first time having dinner here. We started with complimentary roasted honey walnuts and amuse bouche salad, followed by crispy tofu with spicy salt, braised lobster and black truffle on crispy taro net, wok fried prawns with asparagus in black bean sauce, wok fried pork with mushrooms in XO chili sauce, wok fried asparagus with lily bulbs and cauliflower mushroom, and fried rice with conpoy and egg white. And no meal is complete without dessert so we ordered a Chinese dessert of double boiled egg white and fresh milk with taro. And the petite four dessert tower was also complimentary. The dinner was so memorable and the two dishes that stood out were the braised lobster and black truffle on crispy taro net and the Chinese dessert! Double thumbs up!!!

    I was able to test the star restaurant Lai Ching Heen. I visited the restaurant during lunch. The service is outstanding. Very courteous and is always available for advice and explanations. Also, each course is well explained. The food was outstanding. You can expect a very high and extremely good quality of the dishes. Each course in itself was very tasty and had a good charisma. The different flavors went very well together. For a lunch it was perfect. I am curious what there is in the evening. If you are around here, like good food, I definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant. The interior design is also very nicely coordinated. You immediately feel at home.

    Visited Yan Toh Heen for lunch and the experience is amazing. We got the lunch menu and really enjoyed the food that is beautifully presented and well prepared. We especially like the hospitality of the place. The staff is very attentive but not in an intrusive way. We feel the service is more impressive than what we received in Lung King Heen.

    What an experience.... from the back lid Jade Wall entrance, to the 5 star service, to the exquisite dim sum . I'd like to think of myself as a globetrotter, and food connoisseur, and reserve a special place for Chinese DimSum. Every time I have a chance to visit HK, I plan my day around good food, and dim sum. I've tried many restaurants in HK, and most have been average, many failures resulting in a total waste of money, but sometimes you strike gold. Lai Ching Heen is such a place. Now be warned, this is a Michelin stared restaurant, and you need to be prepared to pay, a 2 person dim sum will set you back about $250, and that's just dim sum lunch. But in return, you will get a dim sum experience of a life time. I'm not easily impressed, and I've had good dim sum before, so let's just say my expectations are high. This is the best dim sum experience I've had my entire life, through countless dim sum restaurants throughout the world. So, don't take my word for it, let the pictures do the talking. Every aspect from the restaurant staff, service says 6 star white glove service. I would definitely return, again, again and again.

    It’s fine dining so yes it’s not cheap at all, but you get what you pay for. Fantastic service. We have been here a few times before when it was Yan Toh Hen, but my first time as Lai Ching Heen. We particularly enjoyed the crispy chicken served Peking duck style. The pan fried fish with the crispy fish skin was delicious. Bamboo fungus rolls and spicy aubergine we had before. They both tasted as great as last time.

    First time visiting K11, and tried this restaurant for dim sum. Excellent quality and attention to details in service! As the limit per table is only two, they asked customers if they’d like partial orders (Eg. Get two dumplings instead of four), which was very considerate! Would love to visit again!
