A very British style Indian restaurant with nice collection of art pieces on the wall. Besides, they have rich collection of special gin tonics too. Food was very good & never too spicy but rich in flavours. Amongst the dishes we’ve ordered, we particularly liked the tandoori lamb racks which was well marinated, succulent & perfectly cooked. Samosa was also very good, smooth with crunchy texture, rich flavours with refreshing acidity. Services were warm & good too. If there is one thing to criticise: dishes do not come cheap! Visited the restaurant again given the very attractive dishes being executed but discovered prices went up by significant percentage. Quality still superb. Other than the high price tags, I was disappointed with their white guy staff who was snobbish & impolite after learning that we’re not ordering wines, which was totally unacceptable for prices they charged. Hence one star removed!

Great food but more importantly it was great fun. Much has been said about the quality of the food: the scent of the grill at the moment you walk in; the nimble yet thoughtful gin+tonic starter; the rich and authentic flavours of the spices; the roasted-marshmallow-liked milk bun; the succulent and perfectly cooked proteins and the ultimate toffee banana pudding. The energy of the team and vibe set this place apart. It's the greeter at the door and the ever-friendly waiting staffs that complete the dining experience. Kudos to all passionate members in the team who have made our dining experience memorable! It was an absolute fun night out.

My second time here. Our group of 3 had chicken tikka, paneer curry, raita, garlic nan, keema curry, chaat.. and the wicked banana bread with ice cream (I remember these courses the way I usually called them, refer to menu for the official names). Recommended by the staff to get 2 serves of the chicken tikka, we thought it may be too much for 3 people while we also ordered other courses. Staff also promoted the steak dish but we prefer lamb, mutton, chicken, seafood or pure veg dishes when eating Indian food, beef is not a meat we will eat when I lived in India. The atmosphere of the restaurant reminds me of the Club Lounge in Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. The paintings were all beautiful, some are East meets West and some are just Western. Those tables with separate chairs were good to look at but those chairs had very straight back and also the legs were short and it will be especially uncomfortable if you were tall. I really like the service of the Chinese waiter who gave very frank, good advice. Be prepared to splurge on alcohol, don't come here if you were reluctant to pay for the privilege. We will come back.

I’ll begin by saying we went on a day where they had a special menu because of a collaboration with a visiting chef so it wasn’t the normal menu you’d get if you visited. All of the dishes were interesting and cooked well, we didn’t leave disappointed by any means but we were expecting more. The experimental menu just wasn’t quite there for a place of its stature. Style over substance is what I’d say. I’ll happily return for their normal menu and give them another review. The staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly. The experience was very good. It was a very enjoyable evening.

The best Indian food (Punjabi) experience I have ever had. Great food, service and also the perfectly decorated environment! (Love the way how they walk, so cool and manly) Love the spice and crisp of the Samosa Chaat! Masalewali Chanp (Lamp chop) is super delicious!! The best that you can get in HK. Mughal Room Makhani redefined my understanding of butter chicken...really good! Naan and the Sticky Toffee Pudding are yummy as well!! Overall, a very delightful experience! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sophisticated yet adventurous treat! Atmosphere - well decorated with India/Pakistan traditional feel yet mixed with a comfortable modern hang out environment, with upscale yet traditional cultural music playing in the background; a hard to find wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends with an informal home feel furniture and lighting. This place almost made us feel like an escape from the modern city and took us to a different world! Outstanding service - love the detail attention and TLC provided from the servers and explanations of each dishes; not only helped us to select the food with recommendations but also shared with us the story of the city Punjab and culture. Well dressed -professional managers always checked on us and treated us with the hospitality that we would not expect from other upscale restaurants. Unique food - pleasantly impressed with each one of the dishes contributed by the high quality of ingredients, preparation and preparation. This is one of the top India/Pakistan restaurant that we have been to recently but definitely want to go back!

1-Michelin starred Punjabi cuisine. All the food was great, the goat kebabs and the chaat were personal favourites. Save room the banana sticky toffee pudding, great texture and flavour. The turmeric aroma in the Butter Chicken was absolutely spot on. Huge range of gins available. Quite pricey but the staff make up for it with the excellent service, helping to take photos, helping to celebrate occasions, explaining the menu and checking in on us without bothering us (hard balance to achieve!).

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!! Food is no where close to traditional Punjabi/Pakistani cuisine. we visited for weekday lunch. The menu was changed and was not updated on their official website. ( big disappointment) when enquired with the waiter, we learned they started to change menu as per season. so they removed the famous kheema pav from the menu. there is no rice item or option on the entire menu. No dessert menu or options as well. we ordered 2 subji, 2 drinks and 2 garlic naan. all items ordered were not upto standard. Chicken curry was very watery. dal was just tasteless. naan was little extra salty. and drinks were just ok. overall we will never ever visit again.

The lamb chops from New Punjab Club was delicious. They were grilled to perfection and had the right amount of savoriness. Other dishes were good but not extraordinary. Overall my experience was underwhelmed and found the place over priced and over hyped. Perhaps I had high expectation due to its reputation or perhaps it was the server; he first nudged us to try their cocktails and then he kept on urging us to order more and saying their dishes were in small portions. He was a bit pushy and something I wasn’t expecting from a restaurant at this price range.

Love the ambiance, courteous service and above all, the food! I’m hard to please when it comes down to food quality and taste, especially Pakistani / Indian food, and this food definitely earned my respect. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned , creative way to make appetizers and the lassi and best of all, butter chicken was amazing. They treat you like a celebrity with lot of personal attention. I also had a chance to meet with the chef and toured the kitchen. Price is a bit steep but for restaurant of this class and level, it’s justified. Did I mention they receive a Michelin Star every year ?

New Punjab Club is a nice fancy spot with fantastic service. The G&T was refreshing. The best thing we ate was the malai tikka. The goat sheesh kebab was wee bit dry and it could use more flavour/ spice. The dessert we had was okay. Worth visiting if you are okay with the high cost. Overall, we had a good experience.

Amazing authentic Indian food, very friendly staffs Very nice environment Love the beautiful paintings on the wall Cobia is very fresh and tasty Garlic naan is perfectly cooked, nice aroma (not fluffy style, it’s more on the crispy side) Chaat is also great, nice combination of all the ingredients 🥰 I will be back to try keema pau and the toffee cake dessert 💖

Really enjoyed our dining experience here. Wonderful service, delicious food! We visited on Valentine’s Day and got to try an off menu item, the shrimp. Very satisfied with the meal and the whole dining experience! Compared to other Michelin star restaurants, this one price is reasonable.

What an extraordinary experience! Thank you Sean, Zee, John and Chef Mitra. The food is Michelin grade no doubt, but the team is also exceptional. Spectacular hospitality and we were blown away by the wonderful food and its presentation! My favorites: Keema Pau, Spanish Cardinal Prawns and the Tandoori Cobia. The Oxtail dish was just done to perfection. Also we got a treat off the menu, Mango Kulfi popsicles from Chef Mitra and that was just so refreshing and the perfect finishing touch.

Great ambience, service and amazing food. Despite not completely suited to our taste, I am cognizant of the quality of the food which is balanced but a bit heavier than my personal taste. Highly recommended!

Blown away buy the food and the service! Easily one of the best restaurants in Kong Kong. And the best Indian food that you can get in the Bay Area. The ambiance is beautiful, the service was spot-on and the food was excellent. Definitely, a special place for a special dinner date.

The location is a bit far from tourist sights. But their food is worth the travel if ur interested in Indian food. The curry tasted creamy and just the right amount of saltiness, every curry tasted awesome, just follow their recommendations. The steak was okay, nothing special. Garlic bread was awesome! Definitely try their mocktails as well, well worth it!

Energetic, fun, very high quality Punjab food well deserving its Michelin star. Minced lanm on buns superb. Everything is good, particularly the vegetable dishes. Small but wonderful gin selection. Start with a gin and tonic of you can!

Words cannot describe how much I love this restaurant. The food was so good, everyone that I interacted with was so amazingly sweet. I truly have never had a better dining experience. Sean was the nicest person I have met in hong kong by a landslide. He was so helpful and kind all throughout the night. Zee was an amazing waiter as well. He was super knowledgeable and very fun to be around. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chaat to start with and the pomegranate seeds took the dish to perfection for me. I also had the butter chicken with naan, a gin and tonic, and the sticky toffee pudding. I would fly back to Hong Kong just to experience this night again! I couldn't have wished for a better birthday dinner. Thank you Sean and Zee (and all the other lovely waitstaff) for making my 22nd birthday amazing.

Service was great as expected from Blacksheep group. The space is small so getting a table booked is extremely difficult. The best main dish I had was the lamb chop, which was super tender. Overall taste is on the saltier side, and other mains and sides are good but not wow.

Simply amazing, unforgettable dining experience. Each bite of the food we had was a flavour explosion. Even the peanuts there was packed with spices and it was so addictive. We started our lunch with keema pau. The buns were so buttery soft and they go perfectly with the spiced mutton. Another highlight was the tandoori cobia. It's beautifully cooked with the outside slightly charred and the flesh was still moist inside. The paired chutney was had a slight wasabi-like hint which makes the dish tasted of the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised by restaurant as they prepared a Polaroid birthday photo for us. It's slightly pricey as you'd expect for a michelin-starred restaurant. It's nonetheless an exceptional place served by passionate staffs which makes it worthwhile.

Expensive but worth every penny. I would come here for special occasions. We came on a weekday evening and were greeted by very professional staff. They guided us through the story behind their restaurant and the offerings. The flavours are punchy and very satisfying. Very clean restaurant, totally puts us at ease. Love the gorgeous flowers everywhere, and the fragrance of the restaurant reminds me of Jasmine. Excellent service. The Cobra fish was my fave.

Great food and even greater service. The chef is amazingly skilled. Lamp chips were perfectly cooked. Nann were yum! And the butter chicken melted in our mouths. Melon salad, chargrilled onions, palak paneer were out of this world! No wonder this is a Michelin Starred restaurant.

Expensive, but worth every dollar spent. First time leaving Indian restaurant and not feeling heavy. Absolutely loved the spicy peanuts, tandoori paneer was super soft and delicious. Gin&tonic was mind-blowing, quite strong, but fresh and balanced at the same time. Staff was very polite and accomodating and treated us with an extra cup of masala tea, which I also loved. Fantastic experience!

If you’re ever craving authentic Indian food, New Punjab Club is the way to go. Anything you order here is sure to pack a punch in the flavor department, and don’t forget to order the Keema Pau (my personal favorite). The milk buns are super soft, buttery, yet crispy on the outside. Just imagine sinking your teeth into a perfectly roasted marshmallow - that’s Keema Pau in a nutshell. The lamb chops were brilliant, a dish that brings Punjabi flavors to life with its succulent char-grilled aroma. Be sure to come here with a group (maybe 3-4 ppl) as the portions are pretty hefty. I also loved the yogurt dip that came with the lamb chops– super fresh that complemented the overall dish with a light undertone. For more reviews: @whatssizzlinn
