Great Taiwanese food with tidy environment and comfy sitting arrangement are key successful factors of this restaurant. They can keep a very consistent food quality on my every visits. I strongly recommend you try it.

First time trying the beef noodle and it’s delicious! The meat is a mix of lean and fatty meat pieces and they are very tender. The portion of noodle is not much so suggest in ordering an appetiser. On a side note, the tea is a bit strong for my taste so I asked for a pot of water to dilute it down. Lastly the cashier lady must be having a bad day, no smile, not a single word, no eye contact too. Aside from that all is good and if it’s your first time coming you must try their dumplings, veggie bun and other cold dishes.

Probably the worst looking Din Tai Fung I’ve ever been to. The whole atmosphere is off putting. The restaurant is hot and they don’t have proper air conditioning. They have mounted fan and portable ACs. For some reason, the fried rice took 30 minutes to arrive. It felt very unpleasant dining here.

It was just fine. The restaurant was quite packed and touristy ( it was better years ago). The staff was fine but the food quality obviously dropped by quite a lot. The dumplings were still above par but the noodles was clearly not recommended. Also, the chairs were quite close to each other so make sure you won’t move around.

Michelin star restaurant. Great food, good service, not very expensive. Few years ago restaurants of Din Tai Fung chain are very crowded in meal time but it’s not anymore at HK, I didn’t have to wait for the table like before. Maybe because of downgrading economy

They serve the best Dimsum. And the Bao was just so delicious. Staff is courteous and the service is excellent. If you are in Hong Kong.. don't forget to visit this authentic restaurant. I am sure you will love it.

One Michelin star Taiwanese restaurant with a very tasteful menu. Their dim sum options are great and very tasty. We really enjoyed all the things we tried. I strongly recommend their steamed dumplings. Staff are professional and attentive. The restaurant can get rather busy in the evenings but it is spacious enough. Definitely recommended, one of the best dinners we had in Hong Kong.

The Michelin star for this restaurant is deserved. The service is fast and everything is very well organized. You get a number in the waiting list and order by marking dishes and quantities on a sheet of paper. The waiting times are a lot shorter than other Michelin restaurants, e.g. Tim Ho Wan or One Dim Sum. The food is very delicious and easy to choose from the detailed descriptions in the menu. The waiters are smiling, especially one of the managers. The restaurant accepts credit cards.

Best place I have eaten at in Hong Kong so far. The pork dumplings, the spicy shrimp/pork wontons, and beef with ginger are fantastic. Highly recommend the green beans with shrimp as well. Quick service. On pricier side but worth it. Highly recommend.

Very nice Taiwanese dim sum, dumplings and noodles. Very good allergy details available, comfortable high chairs for children and quick service. Good clean toilets with super effective air-conditioning making it a bit cold. Food was delicious, must have signature dish is dumplings with soup in them, dipped in soya and vinegar. Also try Angus beef with ginger and spring onion.

Not a good branch - service is lackadaisical, food comes out slowly, some of the ingredients tasted not fresh (fried pork) or were over cooked (chicken).

I really like this Din Tai Fung! It meets all three rating criteria. They don't serve the fancy and expensive items so it is not going to break your wallet. Their food are tasty and the quality is consistent. The services the servers are much better than a lot of places. The decorations of this place are simple and open, but this place is clean and inviting. They just renovated the place a little bit as of Nov 15, 2023. I can't tell the difference though!

Has a variety of Chinese food including their very famous Xiao Long Bao. You need to be early there as it is very popular that it will always have a long queue.

Fantastic food recommended by locals. Every single dish was very tasty and the service was quite good and quick (to prepare such quality food). I took the ferry to go from Hong Kong Island to there and it was worth 100%. Definitely an outstanding food experience. Cheers

Super friendly staff, not all of them speak English but we all try to communicate. Noodles were not my favorite too much peanut flavor but the pork Xia Long Bao were amazing, should have ordered more instead of the noodles

Xiao long bao wrapper not the same as before, breaks easily. All other orders were ok. Aircon temp a bit cold.

Been a fan for many years across many different cities. Not sure that was worth sharing, but anyway. Just to clear up the address, it's in the Silvercord building on Canton Road (level 3), in case you are looking for directions. I like the service at this restaurant as they are always happy, polite and try to help. Food is always on point and comes out at a decent pace to not totally cover your table and leave you with no wriggle room. If you have never been, I recommend it.

I went with my friend on a Sunday, NOT peak hour! The food is delicious n the service is good as well. The price is quite reasonable n there is a great selection of food variety. Will definitely go again.

We have been to this restaurant countless times, it is one of better branches of the famous Ding-tai-fung chain, we like this branch and the one in Miramar, because both offer spacious, airy and pleasant seating. Service is also slightly better than others. The food as always with all DTF branches have always been totally consistent in quality. A highly recommended restaurant, their xioa-lung-bao are the best ever anywhere in the world.

  • 5/5 Thomas L. 1 year ago on Google
This is my favorite restaurant that I frequently visit. Quality of food and services are consistently excellent. Expect long line up at peak hour in non covid time, approx 1hr. One interesting fact is they have developed over 200 SOP for the staff to follow to make sure the quality are consistent across all branches. Also visited the Singapore branch few years ago, also excellent.

🤮Overrated. So not worth it’s price. Food quality was poor. How did it even get Michelin awarded?! So disappointed. I would never go back to any of its branches again (it’s London branch was just as bad too!)

If you're there, do give this a shot. No one makes egg fried rice like Din Tai Fung. But of all the outlets I've been to around the world, this is my least favourite.

  • 4/5 Carsten K. 1 year ago on Google
I love their food! Of course it's a franchise and not a local little restaurante with heart. But it's still super food. Atmosphere is big, not so comfy, but okay. Service is great.

  • 4/5 Percy D. 1 year ago on Google
Had a decent experience, but all the ordered items were brought to the table practically together, on account of which, few of the items got very cold by the time we could eat same. Possibly this may be due to our reaching late, but it took away some of the pleasure from the food.

Worth a visit if you're craving soup dumplings. They have a wide variety of dishes, hit or miss but stick to the more popular items and you should be fine. It's a bit hard to find since this location is located on the 3rd floor of the building. Close to the main TST/Nathan Road area so it's within distance of the main hotels. Tourist friendly with English speakers/menu

Large restaurant in fancy mall. Very clean, good service and top dim sum.

  • 3/5 C L. 5 years ago on Google
Delicious XLB as usual! However the shrimp dumplings were actually shrimp and pork unlike pure shrimp ones in Taiwan and the US. The vegetable dishes were good and tasted authentically Taiwan. The pork jelly was disappointing because the ham inside tasted more of shredded meat instead of fragrant pieces of ham. Friendly courteous service, more expensive than Taiwan but cheaper than US

(Translated by Google) Maintain high-quality service standards, but the food quality has declined slightly. I ordered two bowls of ramen, and it was only slightly warm when it came on stage, as if it took ten minutes to serve. When we went there was 2 o'clock in the afternoon, it was not a busy time, the floor was staffed enough, it shouldn't be like this. But the clerk's service attitude is really good, so I believe this is just a small mistake. I will patronize again next time.
