Poor service food was rubbish (bread was relatively good) but overall a very dissapointing experience. Waiters were simply too busy to get you anything - not even utensils for desserts. And they were ignorant enough to ignore your complains. Not my first time but definitely my last time here.

Good Italian dishes, I love Italian food, this is high end restaurant.

The food and service were amazing; the only thing to note is that the portions are quite small in comparison with the price. Of course, the grissini sticks were great - and much more interesting and enjoyable than the regular slices of bread you get at other restaurants (plus, it’s unlimited!). The cod to share was excellent - and I definitely recommend it (the sauce was delicious beyond words). The ravioli, though a small portion, was also very yummy. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, and our waiter saw that we loved it and gave us another serving on the house, which we greatly appreciated.

Lunch menu was delicious, portions were just right, free flow bread sticks which were yum! Comfortable seating, spaced out between the tables, staff were attentive, excellent experience. Nice place to slow down, catch up with friends and enjoy good food. Not to mention their non alcoholic free flow menu was also quite interesting, created with innovation and with minimal waste concept.

3/5 All food was nice but definitely not a wow that worth this price. Pork cooked perfectly, crispy batter on fish, pasta sauce not bad, lobster abit small, starters are alright. Flavour Is like a well done family restaurant. If you read other reviews, yes the bread stick is so good, is in my top three list of Hong Kong. Another one thing I enjoy the most of the night is their greens, perfectly cooked and seasoned.

There are lots of top, top restaurants in HK. If you're looking for Italian, Grissini is S-class quality. The service is delightful; the staff are helpful and good natured (some of the fancy places are pretentious, ain't nobody got time for that). Food is delicious, and yes the never ending breadsticks are as good as everyone says. It's expensive, sure, but Grissini is 100% worth it.

Been years since I came here for dinning, happy that quality of food and service remained consistently good! The dinner set was included in our room booking, glad they didn’t compromise the quality of food. Fresh baked bread stick and Tiramisu is the best!!!

Enjoyed ample natural light coming through big windows, which pitched the brightly-lit room with warm, elegant decor against a cityscape view. The bread, tiramisu and sorbet are memorable. Had the veal loin for appetizer and red snapper as main - both are up to par but not particularly memorable. Prices are on the high side as would expect from a five-star hotel. The pricing is justified for the restaurant setting and food of reliable quality. Unless you need the said features for a business meal, there are better alternatives for Italian cuisine in Hong Kong at that price point.

We had a fantastic night at Grissini under the exceptional care of Gordon. He took great care to explain the menu, make recommendations and overseeing each course delivered to our table along with tasting tips. He even introduced us to the Sous Chef to help explain the inspiration for one of the starters from his home town in Italy. Actually we started the night a little a tired, uncertain and even ready to walk out...but we trusted the suggestion of the tasting menu and ended up the last to leave and firm fans of the excellent food, quality service and friendly staff. Now that is service excellence!

Piping hot grissini (with custom balsamic that made quite an impression). No doubt that it lives up to the restaurant name. Well-balanced flavours for yellowtail carpaccio and grilled cuttlefish. Zucchini bottoni beautifully crafted with zucchini featured in creative ways. Sweet finish with hazelnut semifreddo. Staff very friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Really enjoyed this hospitable dining experience to celebrate a special occasion. Very fair price, all things considered. Highly recommend!

Great Food, fantastic service for my birthday girl, warm and cozy atmosphere and beautiful decoration. Most of all, Grissini(bread) was absolutely scrumptious! One of staffs took our pictures and made a card with that photo for us.

Can't fault the service - as professional and attentive as ever. The food was delightfully presented and packed with flavours. The bread was warm and soft. We took the drinks package for one allowing for unlimited red and white wine and champagne. Felt the main course to be wanting because the portion was small even though it was nicely cooked and the cauliflower was perfect. Feel the presentation on a couple of appetisers might have been better. Still, minor issues and would return.

Great ambience. Very small tables for 3 to 4 people, may want to make request for more room at booking. Tried the promotional menu. Great value great quality. Pasta and Mains were amazing. We cannot have enough of the grissini sticks. Appetizers portion can be a bit more generous but that may have to do with the promotional deals. Wine list was good too, lots of great quality wine with great price, can go by glass, carafe or bottles.

Tried the set dinner @hkd580 each which has 4 starters to share, a small pasta, main to choose either beef shank or cod, and tiramisu as dessert. Oh and what seems to be unlimited refill of grissini. The grissini was really good, freshly baked. Then... that was about it. All the other dishes disappoint. Tiramisu was nice but not amazing. Overall I would not recommend at this price.

Weekend brunch at Grissini Being guided to a table, we were given a weekend brunch menu which might not be reader-friendly with a long list of food items without clear descriptions. We studied for a while and asked for some recommendations and a la carte menu. Informed that there was only weekend brunch menu, our selection could only be limited to that vague menu. Worse still, the waiter failed to give any helpful information or recommendation but just decided to read out each food item instead. It was quite disappointing for customers to select meals without any helpful information upon requests. We finally placed the order with elimination of the dislike items. While waiting, we found that there was some leftover (seems like tiramisu) under the dish. Initially, we thought that there was a stain on the white tablecloth. Feeling disgusted, we put the dish back and found that more stains were on the tablecloth. Finally, it was found the leftover stuck under the dish. We told a waitress but she just took it away without saying a word. Then a waiter came with a new dish. As it was really disgusting to eat with the stain, we just asked the waiter to deal with it. He put another napkin to cover it. Disappointed by the service and hygiene of the so-called 6-star hotel, we expected to enjoy a quality meal. The foods were mostly average taking the taste and texture into account. The pasta was too chewy while the dessert was too moist. What made us feel better was the ribeye (medium rare). Overall, the service, hygiene and the food are under our expectation. As it was supposed to be a fine-dining experience, the service and the food should be up to standard. It is wished that the restaurant could improve for the betterment so that each customer could enjoy a memorable dining experience there.

The food was amazing, the view was amazing, and the atmosphere really good. But what won it was the free breadsticks OMG I don’t even eat breadsticks but they were descended from heaven! And unlimited too, which causes some regret when the mains came and nearly had no space for the amazing veal! Came twice in two days- absolutely incredible and probably one of the best Italians in town. Pasta could be slightly better though- don’t come here if it’s just pasta you craving!

A facelift, new chef and revamped menu have breathed new life into this old Italian fine-dining institution in Hong Kong. Nice to see they brought back the signature giant grissini breadsticks after the renovation. Had some really hearty dishes today including bonito tuna tartare, spaghetti tossed with cherry tomatoes and capers, and of course their tiramisu. Will definitely be coming back shortly.
