It wasn't easy to find and the inside is devoid of anything but basic Chinese restaurant style. Apart from the menu on the photo everything is in Chinese. Although some reviews said it was the best seafood they had, I cannot concur. I have had way better on the islands. The deep fried shrimps had been cooked in, what tasted like, old oil. The scallops were good, but there were only two. It was seriously overpriced and in my opinion neither the food nor decor justifief the expense. I wouldn't go there again. 1) Be perpared that you will be pushed to order thousand dollar plus fish. I did not order what the boss recommended. I only ordered a $360 fish but I regret... 2) Just before we finished our lunch, my wife suffered from serious rash on her face soon followed by my swollen lips. 3) It was a very bad experience lunch. The freshest seafood from local days catch. Mainly intended for locals as it serves as more of a cafe. You can order restaurant food and upon request as they don't have a set menu. You start by giving them a budget and they come back to you with a custom platter based on what's available. The set menu that you tuber Mark Viens showcases on his video at this place no longer exists.

One of the best seafood restaurant in Hong Kong in terms of taste, everything is delicious. Highly recommended the 西多士and the mixed seafood soup. Have to make reservations in advance.

Wouldn’t go back. I used to come here before they changed owner. It was fresh, well cooked - the way you wanted it, at a great price. Not anymore. Worse than the tourist trap. Don’t bother.

We had high hopes when visiting this supposedly fisherman's canteen, located inside the biggest seafood wholesale market in HK. To be fair the dishes are mostly decent but don't expect lower menu price considering its location.

A bit pricey, around $380/person. But fresh seafood n well cooked. Good service too, they'd suggest their signature dishes, but you can say no to them. Everything in Cantonese/mandarin though, limited English.

This is a local canteen for those people who work at the fish market. Supposed they have very fresh seafood..... The cooking style is very local, food is ok, but don't expect it will be cheaper than outside.

The entrance is a very nondescript northward facing door next to the fish market. The food was solid, but pricey; my ranking of what we had (best to worst): - fried abalone, good combo of crispy and chewy, great with the chili oil - unnamed red fish, very flavorful for a steamed fish! - garlic scallop - razor clams, a little overcooked
