Disappointing experience with Eaton Hong Kong. Hotel's soundproofing is terrible, you can hear cleaning crew talking loudly in the hallway, drunk people screaming at night and staff banging carts against walls, slamming doors shut, etc... It was not a relaxing and pleasant environment. I literally had to step outside to ask the cleaning crew to keep their noise down. Hotel staffs are aware of these problems but they doesn't seem to care because the same problem persist the next morning. We were also given the wrong bed configuration during check-in and there are visible mold on bathroom tiles, I'm not trying to nitpick but this is not what a 4 stars hotel should offer. I personally do not recommend this hotel for leisure and pleasure.

Great place to stay, eat, work, dine, explore and connect. I love their concept. They have a lot of events. Rooms are all very nice. Huge food court downstairs. There is also a co working space. The TERRIBLY BABY bar and patio is also very nice. Good location near two MRT stops. One of my go to places in Hong Kong.

Very disappointed with the condition and cleaningness of the room that was given to me. The carpet has a big patch of stain which clearly was not cleaned. When I raised the issue with the staff, I was told this was just a wear and tear which is obviously not true. This is very upsetting that this hotel would give it's guests a room that is very dirty. I really don't understand how this is acceptable.

I stayed at the hotel from November 2021 to March 10th 2022. I found the staff young, energetic and helpful. The Nook room is nice, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is very nice with q strong pressure shower, beautiful supply of white towels. Storage is manageable. The window wooden shutters were amazing, kept the room warm on cold days and gave a nice dark room to sleep in. The view if you face on to Pak Hoi Street is just of other buildings and the opposite Nathan Hotel, but it is far quieter than facing the other side of the highway to the Cross Harbour Tunnel. I enjoyed the Wellness centre, especially the heated pool, but instagrammers can be very annoying with all their posing. I chose the Eaton for its Wellness Centre and swam practically everyday for 2 months before it was closed due to the virus situation, many thanks to Johaness the manager of the wellness centre who made my experience very enjoyable. The lighting Electrical panel was faulty and engineers had to frequently enter my room to fix the problem even in the early hours of the morning, eventually the problem was resolved by taking the lighting panel from a room that had never had any problems and installing in my room. If there was a problem with the room or anything needed fixing, Maintenance was efficient. Unfortunately, all the guests on Long staying packages were given one weeks notice to vacate the hotel as the Hotel was going to be a CIF (Community Isolation Facility) for the next 3 months. Gareth Wong assisted me in finding another hotel which was 50% higher than what I was paying, but as many hotels were changing to CIF there were numerous guests fighting over rooms elsewhere. The other hotels in Hk which were still accepting guests took advantage of the situation and raised their prices astronomically. Gareth Kindly arranged transportation to my new accommodation, a full refund was issued on checkout for the remaining days not used. Overall it was a positive stay, value for money. Thank you.

Just spent 7 days at Eaton and it was an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is a little dates but they're clean, quiet and comfortable. The house cleaning staff did an amazing job with the turn downs every day. The location is amazing. You have easy access to everything. The hotel has an amazing bar called Terrible Baby, not terrible at all, and a food area that has a wide variety of food options. To top that all off, the buffet was also amazing. Forgot to mention a solid gym and fitness area as well. Give the Eaton a look if you are in Hong Kong.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were lots of staff on hand to assist, staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool and gym was a fantastic addition. Excellent location with shops, restaurants, supermarkets, metros and parks all within short walking distance.

Very understated hotel. It doesnt look much on the outside , but inside was very 80s vibe. So cool! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Will not hesitate to book this hotel and recommend to friends on our next visit. An Ippudo ramen is situated on the ground floor. Second floor holds a treasure trove of various food tenants. Cross the street and you find yourself eating some out of this world wanton noodles. So food, we ate them 3 nights out of 4.

Super friendly and professional staff. Everyone from cleaning to reception, waiters and bartenders. Nice hotel with greats rooms and good view. Good restaurants and bars. Very cool interior. We stayed with 3 kids 3 nights and it feels a little bit sad to leave. We will come back for sure. Thank you 🙏🏻

I really enjoy my stay in the hotel. It is so centrally located, and easy to get to almost anywhere. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and I like the retro decoration. The hotel supports progressive values and has characters, unlike most boring hotels.

Despite being a Michelin star restaurant, it is obviously understaffed: no one is introducing how to taste the dishes, serving is slow, and no change of utensils for between dishes. Would’ve expected more from the service. The restaurant has a dark and gloomy decor, locating on the B2 floor of the hotel

I really dig the vibe of the hotel. So chic. Especially worth the price when you’re checking in on weekdays. And damn the food hall, so many choices and so reasonably priced. And the seats are so comfy. A bit too cold tho. My fav is the Spanish restaurant, Flower Years. Their quesadilla are sooooooo good. So as the tea and the soup.

Hotel is cozy and close to mtr stations and many bus stops! They provide water which saves us money from buying outside. Aircon in the room is also very strong & beds were pretty comfy. Water pressure of the shower is also good! The family room was able to fit 4 adults and also 4 luggages. I wish the room has more lights as the living room/bunk bed area was pretty dim. As the hotel is facing the main road, it can get quite noisy when there are people speeding down the road as the glass isn't very soundproof. Opposite the hotel has A21 bus stop that gets to the the airport directly. Will recommend and come back again!

The location is pretty good with plenty to do in walking distance. The rooms are very small and (I would consider) overpriced. I would give this place three or even four stars but had an annoying experience with the staff. I was only staying for two full days and typically don’t need or want my room cleaned every single day so I put on “do not disturb”. The hotel staff, on my last night there, called my room while I was on the toilet (obviously I missed the call)… then they came and knocked on the door at night, even with my “do not disturb” sign and insisted the room should be cleaned at that moment. Again, this was after only two days. I was exhausted from walking all day and was not in the mood to be bothered. I told the staff I did not want my room cleaned and then the person, I believe she was one of their managers, asked me to let them inspect my hotel room “for sanitary purposes”. This is crazy! I have never had such an encounter in all my years of traveling. Highly unusual and this experience definitely disturbed my peace and calm on my last night in Hong Kong. If I am paying a good amount of money to rent a room I expect to be left alone and not annoyed at night with requests for inspecting the room. Two other points—checking in takes a very long time, so be mentally prepared for that. And this place has paper thin doors, you will definitely need earplugs; lots of loud conversations in the halls will wake you up through the night.

Excellent hotel with a funky atmosphere. Great room, lovely breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff. No quibble extended late check-out. Duty Manager Alan was super helpful. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay here again. 5/5!

A centrally located hotel within walking distance of Jordan MTR Station and good shopping and eating places around. The Breakfast buffet has a good spread and runs from 6.30 to 10.30 am. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable and the housekeeping cleans it quite nicely every day.

Our room had strong smoke odor at the beginning. The service was excellent as we asked for air purifier and immediately was delivered. Then, the smoke odor was apparently from the shower room, seemed like there might be cigarette stucked somewhere. Aside from this, it was all excellent.

Other than breakfast and location of the hotel is good, not recommended to stay. Family room is not suitable for older children as the Bunk bed is too short, will bump into head when waking up. Blankets are dirty with stains and cupboards are not clean. We stayed during the winter season and room doesn't have heater. Feedback to staffs but they are unable to do anything, only can provide extra blankets.

Location, service and facilities were excellent at Eaton. Room was spacious for Hong Kong. We were very happy with our 12 night stay, with no issues at any point. I certainly recommend Eaton for a comfortable and convenient stay in HK.

Very clean hotel with spacious rooms, great for families with small kids. Conveniently located in Jordan and very close to TST and Mong Kok. There are restaurants in the lower ground which makes it convenient to go back upstairs with tired kids. Friendly and attentive staff. Would stay here again.

Leaving this review as I lay in the room’s bed at 1am, on my 2nd night. What made me decided to do so is because of 1. the sudden cigarette smoke smell that came through the AC, called reception to complain. Didn’t get any call back after a long while, called them back after the smell got stronger and they said couldn’t find the source. I had to give an solution and request for a air purifier which took 20mins to come. They did offer to change our room but pardon me if I am unwilling to pack my stuff at midnight. 2. In the day time, strong cigarette smell can be smelled along the long corridor, and u can tell someone was smoking in their rooms. 3. Q up for 30mins just to get check-in, even when it’s our turn, check in process was one of the longer ones I have experienced. The staff were nice and helpful, not sure if it’s the system that is lagging? 4. Better soundproof windows needed. I’m staying on the 15th floor and the bar is on the 5th floor directly below us. Music and their guest’s noise can be heard through the window glass and thick night curtains. Overall the hotel is nicely renovated and decorated. Love the minibar shelf, concealed wardrobe and design of the room, + cool hotel lobby. Maybe stricter rules for no smoking policy have to be implemented. For the price, it was quite reasonable in HK, especially room size was not too small.

*highly recommend* me and my mom stayed at this hotel for 3days and the room condition was exceptionally clean. The bathroom and bedding sheet has no smell at all and clean as new. Also every time we into the building all the staff very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for all the service. Also i worked out at gym everyday, the gym has all exercise machines and little but very clean shower facility. Most impressed thing was the food court under the hotel. Especially my mom loved drinking beer and trying all the foods in there. We had a really nice time. Thanks a lot and see you again.

Nice hipster kind of hotel, well located on major Nathan Road, not far from metro station. Decent size room, several food possibilities on site and a bar.

I loved the hotel. The renovated room was a convenient size, given what you can find in Hong Kong. Anyway, the room is the least when you visit a city. Very clean, little details that were older o less well maintained make me not rate it as 10/10. But great place to stay. The service is also perfect, they provide you with anything you may need, even plug adapters. The breakfast is very complete. Maybe a little too repetitive, in the week we stayed it didn’t change. But everything was delicious and varied. It also has a gallery full of restaurants where you can eat from various of them, very fun. The location is great, full of places to eat, have a drink or spend a good time. Close to 2 MTR stations. I would repeat, no doubt.

I booked a Cabin Room for 2 weeks on the 7th floor of their hotel. I've been a regular at Eaton Workshop and their Food Hall and many events friends have hosted and had been lulled into a false sense of security that the rooms would be great. They were not. 1. There is next to no soundproofing on the walls. You can hear everything. EVERYTHING. Think people throwing things against the wall at 2am, shouting, dogs barking. Which leads me to the next point. 2. Eaton positions itself as a dog / pet friendly hotel. I love dogs, I am a dog person - but the neighbouring room clearly had a distressed dog staying because it barked all day and all night. I also don't know how they can guarantee cleanliness for the next guest if they keep animals in the rooms for a long stay. 3. Cleaning staff actually ignore the do not disturb sign. I had it up outside the room and people opened the door anyway, when I said I wasn't dressed or even - in one case - I was lying in bed. I've never had such an experience in a hotel and I found it really alarming that staff would burst in without warning and then refuse to leave. 4. My happiest moment during my stay was leaving. I had more assistance with my bags in a 5min timespan than I did for the two week stay from any of the other staff. So thanks to the ground floor crew. I took audio recordings of the dogs barking to prove my point. It pains me that I can't recommend staying in this hotel as I've had good memories in other aspects of the hotel - but I really felt deeply disrespected as a guest. The only good things I will say are that Jordan is a great base to work around from and the Food Hall has great selection for a decent price. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere and stay in another hotel.

3 adults and 1 baby (1.5y.o) stayed for 6 nights. We had a wonderful stay in the Family suite. It was a comfortable space for the 4 of us and being on the corner room at the 17th floor meant it was a very peaceful stay for us. Bonus is that the rooms are baby safe no need for us to put fragile things out of reach. There's a great pool in the rooftop that's rather quiet. It has fun Pink flamingo floats for adults and smaller ones for kids. 2 lifeguards on duty gave us a nice safe feeling. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of Chinese and western foods. Tastes average, my favourites being soy milk, congee, fresh squeezed juice and yogurt. Staff are trilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) and super friendly. Easy access to MTR and plenty of taxis downstairs to catch easily. We also used a laundromat service 5 mins walk away to do 2 rounds of laundry. Only criticism I have is to watch out for a few mosquitoes in the room and the baby cot provided is about 10 inches shorter than our standard Aussie ones, so taller babies (<2y.o) may have difficulty fitting in the cot. Luckily our 1.5y.o is on the smaller side so she JUST fits. Might be best to ask the Concierge their cot dimensions ahead of your stay to make sure.

Arrived from USA late around 11:45PM , fast check in, quick to respond to room cleaning request. Person by the lift always help press the button. Always fresh slippers in the room. My flight back to USA was delayed for 6 hours, staff let me stay a few more hours in the room after 11 am for free. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Excellent dining choices. 4mins walk from Jordan MTR station Exit B1. Gym is small but has dumbells and enough machines.

We got here at 10am. They said the room isn't ready. I hope to borrow a toilet to brush my teeth, they said the toilet is not available, and I can use the public toilet outside. Then we went to get breakfast, but since we are currently in medical surveillance period, in which our leave home safe app is amber code, we were told to not to sit on their front stairs on the street to eat our take away McDonald's breakfast. I asked for water if they have any, they said they don't have water for me. Just out of two topics of three, no toilet to use, no water to offer, is this even a place for hospitality? Despite the unpleasant morning we are experiencing getting out of quarantine. We hope when the room is ready, this place will change our impression about them.

Horrible customer service with subpar hotel room quality. The larger rooms are all dusted with a weird paint smell. I felt very sick after staying at the hotel. The customer service agents were not helpful and were unable to offer alternatives.

Went there for staycation, overall a very pleasant stay. The front desk service was good, food at the Chinese diner was alright, was a bit overrated for the dishes. Room was decent, but the scenery were all about street view, so don’t expect too much!

The breakfast and lunch buffet we had at Astor was superb with a lot of choices. We didn’t even need to step out of the hotel because there were different restaurants at the food court. The hotel is stylish and the service is above average. The room fee is reasonable too. We will definitely come back again.

Clean room, helpful staff but seems walls are not soundproof so we could hear our neighbours throwing karaoke party @1am, shouting some f words to each other during it and we CAN’T SLEEP. So beware of you’re a light sleeper.

Google says this is a 4 star hotel; and this is an average 4 star hotel. Location is good; restaurants are good and rooms are small, as for most other places in HK. Staff were friendly. Something not so good specifically: 1/ Online sales information. My package has free room upgrade subject to availability. I asked the staff what this entails. The answers: ‘An upgrade of the same room type/size, but we changed the room decor from darker tone to a lighter tone’. This doesn’t sound like an upgrade to me personally. 2/ Parking. Parking needs advance reservation/booking, and subject to availability. I showed up without one and was shunned away. I asked for the next best option to which I was told to ‘drive around the nearby blocks and try your luck’. If I managed my expectation I probably won’t get disappointed.
