Recommended by friends who love arts. The deco is unique and incredible, filled with Banksy and Kaws pieces. We tried the chef's imagination menu and loved his creativeness in using innovative ingredients - like the celeriac risotto with mango and truffle! The staff patiently described each course to us and answered the many questions we had. Can't wait to go back to Bibo again!

Bibo is a French fine dining restaurant located near the well-known stairs in Sheung Wan, with its entrance hidden on Hollywood Road. It did take us some time to find it, as well as a way to open the door to this artsy restaurant. We were greeted by modern art pieces once we entered the restaurant. In fact, the whole restaurant is decorated with lots of paintings, statues, and installation art pieces from famous artists. The Restaurant Week 2019 Spring Lunch menu is a 3-course menu which started with two complimentary snacks: First one was these lovely cheese puff on decorative stones. The cheese inside was so creamy and delicious! We would definitely want some more of this bite size puff! Second snack was a crispy cracker with chili powder sprinkled on top. The cracker itself was quite nice, yet the chili powder made the cracker a bit too salty for me. First course was Scallop with Cauliflower and Haddock. There were three big pieces of meaty scallops. They were so fresh and juicy! Yum! What’s more, the creamy sauce in the bottom topped up the flavour of the scallops and made the whole dish really enjoyable. Second course was Quail with Water Spinach in X.O. sauce. The quail was larger than I expected. It had crispy skin and was quite meaty indeed. I don’t normal opt for lots of seasonings, therefore, the X.O. sauce was kinda too salty for me. Nevertheless, the whole dish was very satisfying. Third course was a dessert of Pineapple Genoise with Cream and Coffee Nibbles. I adored this dish most. The cake was soaked with pineapple syrup, which was so delicious! The cream and coffee nibbles just added texture and taste to the already amazing dessert. No wonder this is Bibo’s signature dish. Thanks to Restaurant Week, I was able to try out this fancy restaurant without breaking the bank.

The settings are beautiful and well thought, great atmosphere. We had a 6 course meal as part of a business dinner; have to give credit to the staff because they were able to satisfy all the most diverse dietary requirements, however not everyone was too impressed with the courses at the end of the meal, will try a la carte next time.

Tucked away in a speak-easy manner (there is a button) on Hollywood, the restaurant combines modern art (it's literally carved into the walls) with French dining. The food, like the surrounding art, is very well plated. The star was the celeriac risotto. Great for a special occasion.

An artsy french restaurant with well-served food. Felt delighted to be surrounded by many superbly amazing art pieces, especially many are, top-notched, most sought-after artists like OBEY, KAWS, Andre, Murakami, Yoshitomo NARA, etc. I especially love the cooking fusion method the chef has injected into their ingredients.

Such a lovely place and foods are nice. But, there may not have enough training to waiters/waitresses as there’s only one among them can really introduce the dishes.

Such a wonderful and grateful experience at BIBO. More than fine dining for me, feeling like in gallery with full of works of contemporary art. It was a big honor to experience it, say goodbye to bibo with great sadness...

Where to start: the art, the drinks, the food. All amazing and building on eachother. If you're interested in street art this is a must. Love good food and wine: it's a full night. Only for drinks you'll be talking about just like me.
