Ocean Park is an excellent theme park with an aquarium, and cable car that goes over the beautiful mountain overlooking the gorgeous Hong Kong. Took up an entire day as they had a lot of shows. many rides and entertainments making it a fun day for the family. There were many people in line due to the weekend like the Penguins, Red pandas, Arctic wolves as well as the cable car. Start as early as 10 am if possible to complete the entire facility as it will take up if you include rides in your plan due lineups. the theme park is well connected with MTR which makes efficient traveling to and from the hotel. A fun-filled day at Ocean Park for sure. we could not visit the water park, next time for sure.

One of must visit place if you are visiting in Hong Kong. There are so many things to do in this iconic theme park. So many thrilling rides waiting for you in this park. There are two sections in this park and that two area is connected through cable car and train. You can see iconic Panda, Penguin and so may animals in this theme park as well. In addition to that there are more than 15 amazing rides also included in 7 theme parks in here. You have to well plan before arriving to this park because it’s kind of tricky to cover all rides and areas in this park in one day Overall we really enjoyed our day spending here and well recommended

Ocean Park in Hong Kong is a big amusement park with many thrilling rides, roller coasters , waterworks with dolphin show, North Pole and South Pole animals experience where you can see seals, penguins walruses etc in their near natural habitat . There is an area for viewing variety of birds. There is an area for viewing ordinary and red pandas in their natural habitat. There there is also a very nice cable car ride which gives stunning views of the coast.

It's a huge park. We can spend whole day in the park. If you don't want to stay so long, you can go there in the afternoon. The night lights in the water pond are great too. There are good views up the hill with great sunset views. Many restaurants in the park. You have to walk a lots but you still will find many benches along the walkway.

We've been visit Ocean Park last January 2, 2022, It was a very nice place to visit, the entrance was great because it was promotion so we pay cheaper. Rides are available, but some are under renovation. So far Ocean Park has more offer and promotions grab it now ot regret later.

Ocean park was good. Took up an entire day as they had a lot of shows. Not sure if it was because it was a weekday or something but not all of the shows/feedings had English translation. All of the signs around the park and all of the big shows did though. There were also a select few rides that were shut down when I went. There also wasn't many people in there when I went. Had no lineups. I liked the aquarium and the animal exhibits (penguins, red pandas, pandas and arctic wolves etc), as well as the cable car. If you finished early and you're on the fence about staying for the big show at 7:15pm, I would not stay as it wasn't worth it. Basically a bunch of water sprouting up and a projection on the wall of the building. Was cool but not sit and wait for an hour cool. Tip: see the animals early/before their feedings as they sleep during the late afternoon. I made the mistake of doing rides first and most of the animals were asleep by the time I went to see them around 4pm.

Visited Ocean Park for the first time. Love that it is not overly crowded like D. Huge area divided by mountain. I love the Aquarium which is nice and soothing. Kids section to play and there is a little Prince theme where u get to enter and take pics. There apparently was not much Q and you can enter every place quite fast. Though the place is old I think they are slowly revamping the area to bring us more attractions. The cable car ride was interesting and a bit scary but hey at least they work still! The view from the cable car was amazing ❤️ Headed over to the thrill section and was happy to see seals and more thrill games. Maybe we were there late so there was almost no Q at all to the rides. Manage to catch the sunset there too which was beautiful. It gets cold at night and was sad that the show they put up was not watch by many people. Hope they can put up better shows but then again, I hope they will be able to keep the park more up to date cause it is really a nice place and they have a bettertter and more systematic way to ensure everyone safety. Plus they have their fans ON even in winter to keep the place really ventilated unlike D which have all their fans OFF! Good nostalgic place to visit. Rides are definitely better compared to D . Will be back again for sure 👍🏼

A wonderful place for both young and old. It’s part zoo, part sea world and part amusement park. The pandas and dolphins are the showstoppers but don’t miss the adorable orangutans and penguins. The cable car ride has heart-stopping sea views and is one of the best rides in the world. Don’t miss the aquariums full of spectacular sea life and corals. A great day out for everyone!

A fantastic place for your family to go where you will find, especially the children , no sufficient time to visit all the animals and also lots of machinery games to play. It would be advisable to split 2 days to visit or go early on the day. Of course, it would be more convenient to stay at the Marriott Ocean Park Hotel.

It is one of my most favorite places in Hong Kong... with lots of memories.... The park has a lot of fun rides and interesting aquariums, animals and designs.... there used to be more decorations in Christmas 🎄 time before... but nowadays less....

On a whirlwind tour of Hong Kong, we had a chance to visit Ocean Park. What a fantastic place! We rode the rides, walked from one end of the park to the other, took the sky car, and explored nearly every inch of the place. My kids and I loved it! Later in our visit to HK, we went to Disneyland. Frankly, Ocean Park was superior -- not quite as crowded and a much mellower vibe. If you're visiting HK with children, Ocean Park is a great way to spend a day -- and it's good for adults too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic adventure park with lots of options for different people. Head to the Summit for thrill rides - Flash and Hair Raiser particularly fun! Unfortunately, some rides were closed. The cable car rides up & down the Summit were pretty amazing too. There are also lots of animal exhibits to see - Amazon forest, seals & sea lions, jellyfishes, the Grand Aquarium, and Pandas!! We came in mid Jan and there weren't long queues. It was super easy to get to. Highly recommended.

I went to play on a weekday, and there weren’t many people, good place for parents to take their kids. There’s an amusement park, an aquarium, and you can even see adorable pandas. However, the downside is that the area is too large. Although there are cable cars and small electric cars, it’s still quite exhausting.

The park is huge. They have everything, a zoo, thrilling rides, restaurants, sight-seeing spots, and relaxing areas. We spent a whole day inside. It's fun. They have zero compromise on thrilling rides at all. It's exciting. Such an adrenaline pump. Food is a bit expensive, better to buy food from outside. They allow to bring food and drinks from outside in a reasonable portion. We went there on weekdays. No queue at all, no need for a Fast Pass ticket. We bought tickets online in advance, but there was no queue at the ticket counter.

Redfin did an excellent job on designing and fitting our new custom aquarium. They were able to accommodate our needs by providing a very speedy service. Their expertise was proven by the high quality aquarium supplied and at a competitively low price. We would definitely go with them on our next project.

Sorry I gave 2 stars but I think the rides are a bit boring, staffs wouldn't help, food normal, animals should not be here for people to play like a toy, too many people from Mainland and did not clean the penguins & pandas area but I do love all the animals there, hope they make the park more fascinating !!

(Translated by Google) A huge ocean park with amusement facilities and a marine museum, It is strongly recommended to take the "Climbing Cable Car" when going up the mountain and the "Ocean Train" when going down the mountain. Because when you go up the mountain, you can clearly see the beauty of the city by taking the cable car during the day. When the night is dim, it is more suitable to take the ocean train. When going down the mountain, there are many people on the cable car. It takes a long time to line up, and the ocean train is not in line. It can be queued soon! So be sure to plan the order of boarding!

i came for the Run for Survival by Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, an annual charity run to tackle climate change and protect our ocean. The route took us through the Ocean Park and Water Park, so got to see a bit of both. Quite easy to come with the train stop, and was refreshing to be back at the local attraction.

iconic place in Hong Kong, a theme park with roller coasters, arcade, and even animals, in a theme park! the view is also amazing as its right next to the sea. You can even stay in hotels and also go to the water park nearby. 100% recommend for families, couples, alone, and school field trips.

Good fun time overall. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. They could do a better job with maybe more and faster roller coaster but oh well. Additionally their staff could use more training in Mandarin especially now that they get a lot more tourists from mainland China.

Ocean Park makes for a fun day out with family. The rides are a bit on the wild side, so definitely better for older kids. The queues on weekends and public holidays can be ridiculously long, so prepare to wait in line even with a fast pass. I recommend taking the cable car up the mountain and then the Ocean Express downhill. The Bayview restaurant is good value for money, but the staff at the checkout counter are rude.

This place is amazing! By far the best aquarium I have been to with loads of stuff to do. The lineups were minimal with engaging exhibits. Lots of great food stalls. I would recommend going early as you can easily spend over a day here. This was one of my favorite places to visit in HK and I hope to go back one day. I would recommend packing an umbrella to deal with the hot sun and take both the funicular and gondolas to cross to both sides of the park.

It's a huge amusement park, nice place to visit, many rides to choose, many foods stall but the prices is expensive, many bench you can sit/rest if you feel tired of walking, many toilets to be used. You can enjoy your day exploring the place, if you have plan to visit the park make sure you have a booking appointment. Like me i didn't do any booking so they asked me where is the copy of my booking ..so i did was i started scan the park qr code put my information if you don't know how to do it one of the staff will assist you..anyway you can visit the park anytime and you really enjoy exploring the beautiful, huge, tidy and amazing amusement park.

Ocean Park is a must-visit place in Hong Kong where one can find this as a mix between a theme park and a zoo. Here you can find lots of fun rides including their adrenaline-rushing Hair Raiser roller coaster ride. You can also get to experience a closer look to one of the cutest animals in the world, the Giant Panda. Two of their pandas are named Ying Ying and Le Le. Of course they are named as Ocean Park because of their grandest The Grand Aquarium. With lots of sea creatures ranging from tiny seahorses to colossal giant mantas and hammerhead sharks. We got here by taking the MTR via South Island Line and get off directly at the Ocean Park station.

Ocean Park may have lost its luster somewhat but its aquariums are still fascinating. "Down under", you will experience the mystery of the deep blue sea and be in awe of the graceful dance of many jelly fish. Go in earlier in the morning to avoid the crowd. As for the restaurant inside the biggest aquarium, Neptune's Restaurant, yes, you can see the ray fish swimming alongside the biggest glass pane of the aquarium while you are enjoying your meal. However, the food quality is just average and the meals are overpriced. Think twice.

Today is a perfect day to visit Ocean Park. It's mostly cloudy with a bit of shower that no umbrella is actually needed. Numbers of people visit today is not that crowded. Hop on to the cable cars within 30 minutes. It's really a big park with a lot to watch, enjoy, excited, explore. Good for the whole family. We spent one whole day 11am to 7pm and we haven't have enough time to visit all the different areas. Food is available inside the park at a reasonable price.

The legendary aquarium and amusement park, been here many times since my childhood, then now I go here with my little daughter, love to be here. The Shark Aquarium is good, the Panda named Lele ( male ) and Yingying ( female ) is the Star of the Park, they have Red Panda, Chinese Giant Salamander. The Cable Car is recommended to see the beautiful view.

The park is nice and clean. Well landscaping and plants are beautifully kept. Tickets kind of expensive but is definitely worth it. Must buy tickets in advance and try to avoid weekend. Kids will have so much fun.

Went there during the weekday with my 5 years old son and daughter. Most of the rides were not suitable for kids under 7. Kids loved to see the pandas and sharks. There are not many choices of food there, and kids choose to have McDonald's instead. Bit disappointed they canceled the dolphins show, but I still recommended Ocean Park though.

Visited on a Monday and it was the best decision. No long queues. The North and South pole expeditions are the best. Also seeing the Walrus was one of the most amazing experiences. The cable car ride gives a splendid view of the sea.

The highlight for me were the penguins! Sea creatures are all amazing to see up close. Walrus, sting rays among others. The explanations beside each enclosure is easy to read and understand for children, perfect education+ leisure combo. Like with all theme parks, be ready for long walks.

Went on a weekday so there wasn't a crowd and there was no waiting in line. We went to the cable cars, the jellyfish exhibit, the Asian animals exhibit, and the Grand Aquarium. Also did some shopping in the souvenir stores. The jellyfish exhibit was beautiful and the grand aquarium was truly amazing. Cable cars, expressway, and shuttle buses are also available for in-park transportation. We also ate at the Bayview Restaurant. The ocean view is amazing, and the food is excellent and very filling. However, there are unfortunately exhibits and stores that are closed at the moment. :( Nevertheless, it was overall a great experience that I would strongly recommend to anyone staying in Hong Kong.

Splendid open air theme park, wonderful for kids and family for activities. The cable car ride, the numerous rides on the mountain top and the dolphin and seal show are just not to be missed. The cable car ride is exhilarating and is a must do. The evening light and sound show isn't to be missed either.

Amusement park mixed with zoo mix with aquarium. There is something for everyone here. Even if nothing interests you, it's a great area to walk around for exercise (lots of up and down slopes). There are two different levels - upper level where you have to take a gondola for (or there's an option for a train instead for those who are scared of heights/accessibility) , is where all the rides are situated. The lower level is for the animals and attractions. The rides are good for older children and not so much for younger (such as 7 and under). If you go at a good time, there is minimal line ups. The water ride - expect to get wet but the poncho (which they sell while you're in line) may be unnecessary. This was a fun attraction for families. Seniors can go in free also. Everything is clean. It's possible to get lost here.

The park is huge in size and expect lots of walking. The park is divided into two large areas, the upper part of the hill and the lower one, the exciting rides and carnival kiosks are located at the upper hill side. Queues at the rides seem relatively faster compared to Disney but still the popular one can wait up to 40mins approximately, in my opinion it's better if you buy fast track tickets so your journey will be faster and easier. Overall, this is still a great park to visit though the park can looked very dated compared to Disney. Well, Ocean Park is ultimately the first theme park of Hong Kong after all. The prices of the food and drinks are a little bit high so i recommend bringing some snacks, food and drinks with you and don't be worry they do bag checks at the entrance but outside food is allowed

The park is very big. Need stroller for young kids. & wear comfortable shoes for walking. Food in the park mostly fast food and salty. Just to fill up stomach but bad for taste buds. Toilets are generally clean with air conditioning. There are aquariums, some parts like the Penguin exhibition hall is quite cold 8-10degree celcious, better bring a jacket if want to spend long time in there. Many rides were closed for maintenance when we visited today. Not many visitors today as it’s drizzling for most part of the day, which was great because we didn’t have to queue for long to ride or enter exhibition hall. Good for kids to learn about animals. Cable car ride was nice.

It was fun especially the cable car ride and the panda conservatory (panda and red panda)... Tips: Buy water when you find it... It was hard to find water in some locations, u might get dehydrated like me 😂.....

The place seemed under maintained. you can see the wears around the structures. The attractions are just okay but the aquarium seems a bit small. the panda and red panda habitat is cute. the cable car ride was breathtaking but quite long, if you want a shorter and less warm ride i suggest riding thr submarine. so far no unique animals are to be seen if you are from the philippines except the salamander and pandas. The food is terrible. the rides dont give the gforce feeling because they are all controlled drop, however the hair raiser roller coaster is not for people with neck and back issues because they lack support on your neck and it will hurt. overall, it seems that ocean park has lost its magical touch due to the pandemic, the up side is that there is no need to queue.

Be prepared to walk more than 10 thousand steps. Best to bring your own water bottle since water is expensive there. There are refilling stations inside the park. Also if you want to ride the cable to it first thing when you arrive coz the line will eventually take you minimum of 45mins before you can alight.

Not very long queues on a Monday. Some of the attractions are closed but that is reflected in the current price. Drinks are a bit pricey but the Mcdonalds there probably offers the best value for drinks. There is lots of food options on all levels on the park. It's changed a bit since I last visited but the star attraction, the pandas are still there but I really liked the seahorses and jellyfish. Definitely worth a visit.

I came here when I was a little kid, today, I took my toddler here after all this years. Entertainment and animal habitats are well maintained, staffs are friendly and helpful. Perfect for all ages. The only thing I would complain is there are not enough convenient access for stroller. I either have to carry the stroller up the stairs or walk an extra mile around the hill.
