Beautiful harbor basin in Hong Kong. The harbor is very suitable for jogging or a walk in the evening. Sunrises or sunsets are beautiful to shoot with a camera in front of the city. As a photographer in Hong Kong, you should definitely take pictures there once. The entire promenade looks very neat, clean and well-kept. Watching the laser show here in the evening is certainly a wonderful experience.

Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong stands out as one of the most breathtaking harbors globally, showcasing a stunning panorama on both sides adorned with towering skyscrapers adorned in dazzling lights. The cityscape that embraces the harbor transforms into a mesmerizing spectacle, especially during the evening when the lights come to life. To truly appreciate this captivating view, embarking on a boat tour or hopping on the iconic Star Ferry for a cross-harbor journey is highly recommended. These experiences offer an immersive perspective, allowing you to absorb the grandeur of the city's skyline reflecting on the tranquil waters. The play of lights on the skyscrapers creates a dynamic visual feast, making every moment on the harbor an enchanting and unforgettable experience. Whether it's the glittering skyline or the unique vantage points offered by the boat tours, Victoria Harbour ensures that visitors are treated to a visual masterpiece that captures the essence of Hong Kong's urban charm.

We enjoyed amazing skyscraper symphony of lights show in the evening when visiting Hong Kong in 2014. There were so many Street performers making music in the busy prominade. And the place was crowded with lots of tourist.

I could contemplate the view every single night. The contrast between the water and the buildings is just mesmerizing. Catching the 20:00 ferry is wonderful as well, you get to enjoy the view, a fresh breeze and the lights, all in one

It’s something you have to see when you come to Hong Kong. But it’s ALWAYS crowded no matter which day, which time you go. I went there at 2 am before during the typhoon and THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE. this is how nice the harbour is but on the flip side, it’s never going to be empty.

Everyone talks about the views but Hong Kong takes mass transportation to whole another level. There are small wooden boats to huge cruise ships, tunnels, bridges, ferries, cargo ships, trains criss crossing under water and 20 years ago there was an airport too. Right in the middle of all this. And it all runs systemically like a clock without colliding with one another. Victoria Harbour is not only delight for your eyes but efficiently smooth as well.

One of the most impressive cityscape in the whole world! It’s truly impressive! Nice for some photos but there is also a synchronized light show across multiple buildings and skyscrapers, which is quite cool to see occur and must’ve been quite the technical feat to achieve!

(Translated by Google) It should be regarded as one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. Sunsets, sunrises, sunny and cloudy, and the scenery throughout the year are ever-changing and colorful. The areas where you can see the coastline on both sides of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon are collectively called "Victoria Harbour." Different locations in different locations can produce wonderful scenery with different effects.

Amazing view of Hong Kong. You can enjoy the view of a lot of magestic building in Hong Kong Island also with beautiful light at night. The sea area also clean with a lot of ship and cruise move around. Maybe this place become a landmark of Hong Kong it's self. There are also many attraction around like museum, tower and statue. Nice place to strolling on afternoon or night.

Beautiful night scenery along the scenic and iconic Victoria Harbour. Have a leisurely stroll along the the promenade and just take in the night view of Hong Kong. If you have some time on your hand, you can opt to take the water taxi out into the waters to enjoy the views on both sides of the harbour. If you are here during New Year’s Eve, this is the place to be.

Good place to walk around and exercise. Some people also use the space to bring and play with their pets. There are some spots to sit and get free water to drink within the area, however if you want to go get some food, it is not available within the area. Public toilets are also available in the area.

To feel this active life of Hong Kong, it is indeed one of those places that you must visit. Not only the tourists make the trips, but also the workers, businessmen who cross this bay with this very popular and very crowded ferry in the morning. Magical sunset over the bay.

Victoria Harbour is a natural landform harbour in Hong Kong separating Hong Kong Island in the south from the Kowloon Peninsula to the north. The harbour’s deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong’s establishment as a British colony in 1841 and its subsequent development as a trading centre1

Victoria Harbour, named in honor of HM QV, refers to the body of water separating Hongkong Island and Kowloon Peninsula. So depending on one’s location, the land view is always the one opposite. The best vantage point to view the Harbour with both land sides are from Victoria Peak OR from the top of the Observatory (the Ferris Wheel on Sheung Wan of Hongkong Island) OR from the roof tops of the very tall skyscrapers of either land sides OR on board of one of the tourist harbor cruise boats. It’s really a vista of the transformation of a near barren island to its colonization by British settlers to its modernization as British Hongkong to Asia’s Financial Centre to today’s Hongkong SAR. The land sides are true examples of reclamations of coastlines that expanded human activities, either for good or ill, as has been so common a practice in 20th century to today.

Victoria harbour is lucky enough to have 2 special guests coming for a week. One of them is actively "swimming" around the harbour and bringing happiness to Hong Kong people. 🐤🐤 Even though the guests are gone, it is absolutely a place you should visit when you come to Hong Kong. The skyrocket building and seaview are fascinating and beautiful. We are looking forward for the guests and visitors to come again 🐤🐤

Victoria Harbour is one of the tourist attractions in HK. Sun-rise and sun-set can be seen when you're in the central seashores. There's also a daily light show in Central at around eight o'clock where the sky is full of different colours of light and sometimes forming with different pictures or figures. Victoria Harbour also evidences how the development of a fishing village to a motrepolitan city. This is one of the must visit plasce in HK and is free.

Victoria Harbour was originally called “Hong Kong Harbour”. After China was defeated by Great Britain in the First and Second Opium War, Hong Kong became a colony of Britain and Victoria Harbour was named after the British Queen Victoria. Victoria Harbour’s unique geographical and strategic location played a significant role in Hong Kong’s history and future developments. Situated between Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbour provided shelter and enough depths for big trading vessels, containerships and cruise ships and became one of the busiest ports of the world. Relax after a busy shopping or sightseeing day, sit down and take your time to enjoy the view. Let your eyes follow all different types of boats, ships, cruise ships and vessels while they move up Victoria Harbor similar like busy bees.

Amazing city view of Hongkong! You can enjoy skyscrapers in Hongkong also beautiful light in the night. Can never get enough with this kind of view. Walking, jogging, running or just sitting beside the sea, you can do it all here and of course for free. You can go and take the boat to go from one island to another one from this place also! Just to make sure not go on the weekend if possible, because it can be very crowded!

The Victoria Harbour is a must for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Slightly foggy when I was there. A great place to the see the Hong Kong Island skyline. The Avenue of Stars and Harbour Promenade at the south end of Tsim Sha Tsui are great spots to catch the spectacular view. There is a daily Symphony of Lights show around 8PM, but was a bit underwhelming due to the fog and a little bit difficult to here the music. Anyway, the colorful city lights at night was nice to see!

Day or night this Victoria Harbour is so beautiful, the views on both side are magnificent but looking from Kowloon back towards the Hong Kong Island cityscape is one of the best city views in the world.
