The place is great if you can enjoy any of the rides. However, even during Covid they overfill the place to the point that dinner was sitting on the ground eating overpriced corn dogs. We tried to eat in a restaurant but 2 of them were closed and one that had empty tables said we had to get a ticket in the morning to eat at 3pm. Then, staff started blowing bubbles directly at us to get us to move when we did eat on the ground. Some great photo opportunities but overall the experience isn't usually worth the price.

This is a magical place for everyone. Highly recommend to check the guest number estimator online and book tickets in advance. The new Frozen theme park is very nice. Lots of interactive activities for the kids. Friendly staff.

I recently visited Hong Kong Disneyland and had a great time with friends and family. The park itself is beautifully designed and the attractions are a lot of fun. The parades and shows were also very entertaining. Overall, I would recommend a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland for anyone looking for a magical and exciting day out.

Not much to say, after all it's Disney. I recommend to take subway to go there, it's the same line that goes to airport. Make sure to go early to be able to use the most possible for the money you pay, nothing is cheap but that's how it works in any other big attraction. If you go with kids make sure to check out the parade time and route when you get in and go ahead of time to find the best viewing point.

Very nice place 🥰 a whole day is not enough if you want to do all the activities inside this park. Bring extra cash because food and stuff here are kinda expensive 😅 if you wish to take a picture with Mickey Mouse or other mascots, you need to pay $$$, at first I thought that was free. The rides and other attractions are included in the ticket. Strollers are also allowed inside the park but in some attractions, strollers are to be left/parked outside. It is also advised to have the guide for the schedule of shows so you won't miss them. Stay until the closing time for their final show with Mickey and the gang.

It was a family vacation for us. We enjoyed every ride. The kids had atmost fun. This was way before the hurricane hit this city. This was a memorable trip for us!! We walked the whole park extensively. Those were the good old days!!

My wife and I recently visited Hong Kong Disneyland, and we had an amazing time there. We enjoyed all the rides, and the experience was truly magical. It brought out the kid in us, and we felt like we were transported to a different world. However, we do recommend that you plan your trip well as one day is not enough to try all the rides. There are long lines on each ride, and it can take a while to get on them. Despite this, we still had a lot of fun trying out all the rides and attractions. One downside of our trip was the food prices, which were quite expensive. We found it helpful to bring our own food since you can now bring food inside the park. We also appreciated the water refilling that were available, so we could bring a container with us and refill it throughout the day. Overall, we highly recommend visiting Hong Kong Disneyland if you want to have a fun and magical experience. Just remember to plan your trip well and bring your own food to save some money. We rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Spectacular show - "Momentous" closing show at Hong Kong Disneyland. You will feel your back in childhood days 😁. Recommended place to visit upon travel at Hong Kong (1of many tourist attractions). You need 1 entire day to enjoy most of the rides.

I've been to Disneyland and disneysea in Tokyo, LA, and Hong Kong, and I think Hong Kong Disneyland is my favorite one. I went on a weekday in October, and most lines, except meet and greets, were 10 to 30 minutes max. They had performances with English, Cantonese and Mandarin translations, which was great as I fell asleep in the Tokyo one because I couldn't understand a word they said. Their park is smaller so you can probably get through most in one day if you're not planning on doing any meet and greets, which are usually 1+ hours wait. Their rides which involved a lot of talking like their raft ride also had options for different languages as well. All their performances were very fun and their new fireworks show at the end was a blast. When I went on October it was still very hot during the day. Food, and drinks especially, were heavily marked up. One bottle of soda was about $13 cad from what I remember. Also make sure to check the weather before you decide to go. Especially during monsoon season. If it rains it pours and sometimes for hours. This results in some of the rides being closed.

This park is of gigantic proportion with multiple themes..needs minimum of three days to take all the rides and enjoy the added attractions. Special mention about the 4D theater which is one of a kind...

Your experience here at Disneyland changes as you go through different stages in life, from when you were a student to when you start working, to when you bring your own children here. This is a place where dreams come true and where magic happens. Disneyland never fails to create the best memories for friends and families. Halloween themed parades and decors have started in sep!🎃 Also should definitely check out the villain show 😈

Hong Kong Disneyland is a magical destination that seamlessly blends the enchantment of Disney with a unique Asian flair. The park's meticulous design, coupled with its captivating attractions, offers an immersive experience for visitors of all ages. From the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle to the whimsical Main Street, U.S.A., the attention to detail is remarkable. The diverse range of attractions caters to a wide audience, from thrilling rides like Hyperspace Mountain to family-friendly adventures in Fantasyland. The "Disney Paint the Night" parade and nightly fireworks display are spectacular, creating an atmosphere of wonder and joy. Character meet-and-greets further enhance the magical experience, allowing guests to interact with beloved Disney characters. One notable aspect is the incorporation of Chinese culture into the park, seen in attractions like Mystic Manor and the unique Disney dim sum offerings. The seamless integration of Disney magic with local elements adds a special charm to Hong Kong Disneyland. While the park is smaller compared to some other Disney resorts, its compact size makes it accessible and manageable, especially for families with young children. The staff's commitment to providing exceptional service contributes to a positive overall experience. In conclusion, Hong Kong Disneyland is a delightful journey into the enchanting world of Disney, blending international allure with regional influences for a truly magical adventure.

Wonderful experience! Clean and tidy as always. The rebuild Princess Castle is now much bigger and host a nice show few times per day.

The theme park is now less crowded than before and the queue for lining up for the rides is much shorter, although it's quite hot these days with a scorching hot template like 30 degrees Celsius. It's a bit pity that the major cartoon characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald do not come out for picture taking due to the pandemic social distancing measures, you can still manage to find princess or avengers like Tiana, Captain America, Black Widow for striking a pose at a distance though. This is still a "magical" place for the kids and a good getaway for a day when traveling overseas is banned.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hong Kong Disneyland with my wife and daughter, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We arrived at the park around 10:30am and stayed until closing time at 11pm, and we were able to pack in so much fun, excitement, and joy in that time. One of the highlights of our visit was definitely the rides. We were thrilled to find that we were able to make it to all the rides, from the thrilling roller coasters to the more gentle attractions that our daughter loved. We particularly enjoyed the immersive experiences on the Iron Man and Star Wars rides, which had us feeling like we were part of the action. But it wasn't just the rides that made our visit to Hong Kong Disneyland so memorable. The Lion King show was an absolute must-see, with stunning performances, amazing costumes, and catchy music that had us tapping our feet and singing along. And in the evening, we were blown away by the castle light show, which was a magical and breathtaking spectacle that left us feeling like we were part of a fairy tale. Overall, our visit to Hong Kong Disneyland was an incredibly fun, joyful, and exciting experience that we'll cherish for years to come. The park was immaculately clean and well-organized, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a sense of magic and wonder in the air that made us feel like we were truly transported to another world. If you're planning a trip to Hong Kong, a visit to Disneyland is an absolute must-do, whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some good old-fashioned fun and adventure.

Amazing place with plenty to do and see for adults and kids. Probably need 2 days to explore the park. Don’t miss spectacular closing ceremony and fireworks at the castle. Very spacious with plenty of transport options and lots of helpers all across the park

It is a playground suitable for parents and children. There are so many people at any time, the attractions are fun and exciting , the shows was great fun and beautiful , Two stars is deducted because of the service attitude of some Hong Kong employees. When we asked them questions, they made a bad face, and some even used Cantonese scolded us, because some of the Hong Kong employees didn’t feel like this was the Disney experience I had in mind.

Definitely the happiest place in the world. The new castle is beautiful and the light show/fireworks was spectacular and very touching. The mickey mouse storybook musical was my absolute favourite. The place is definitely kids and disabled friendly. Queue is not as long as other Disneyland I have been to. Can't wait to go back again foe the new Frozen Attraction .

Awesome place for people of all ages. Strongly recommend to families with young kids. Big place that definitely requires 2 days to explore all fun activities. Weekends are very busy and be aware of long queues. Please take note of the daily showtimes and don't miss them. To me, central attraction of the Disneyland is “Momentous” the day end light and music show.

Amazing experience at Disneyland Hong Kong. I relived my childhood days by being there, please just draw out the kid in all of us. Running from one ride to the other, standing in cues to get in and then shouting at the top of my lungs at the thrill of the rides was just worth every moment.

It was a fantastic trip! Also, it was cold that day around 10 c°. But the decorations were Christmas themes, so the weather suits well with the weather! What a wonderful time to go back and just be a kid for a day!♡

We went here last January 2017.. This place was amazing.. They were organized, clean and the staff here were polite.By the way you cannot bring your own food and water.. you need to buy from the stores inside the Disney land.. and the food here are quite expensive! And nothing special about the food.. just hotdog, bread , fries etc.. but over all I highly recommend this place ! Because of the ambience..

Best for kids 12 and below. My 2 boys 5 and 2 always enjoy the rides and of course taking photo with their favourite avenger character. The only glitch is there is no restaurant open for a proper meal other than fast food and to go snacks.

Such a great place for the kids! When compared with Disneyland USA this place isn’t that large however the experience for the kids is second to none. Easy access via train from HK CBD and tickets are very reasonably priced and there’s no requirement to pay separately for to access many different experiences. Can get very crowded at times but very secure and friendly environment. The laser light parade at night that something no one should miss.

Hong Kong Disneyland is one of our highlights of our vacation on Hong Kong. Both kids and adults (even ages 65 and up) enjoyed the park! Definitely a magical place that everyone enjoys! Everything about this park is fun and happy. Parades, rides, attractions, and shows. Here are some tips for you to help you enjoy your visit: 1. Bring water bottle. There are free water refilling stations inside the park. 2. Download the Disneyland app on your mobile phone to check which attractions and rides have long queues. 3. Try to study and find an off-peak season / day. When we visited the park, there are few people and very short queues (only about 3 minutes), sometimes, no queue at all! 4. Enjoy and have fun!

Possibly my worst amusement park, if not life, experience ever? And we were shocked it was with Disney. This was our thought after spending 4 hours lining up and doing only 3 attractions. It was our first experience with the franchise. Around 90 US dollars per person to enter, only to find out there were too many people inside too small a park. I mean, look at the lineups everywhere—it was minimum 1 hour at any major rides, even though the app indicated 15 minutes. And good luck spending additional 70 US dollars per person for VIP access. I understand this scorching summer is not Disney’s fault, but letting customers wait hours and hours in the sun is. What’s worse was even finding a place with AC to sit down and eat food was all but impossible, and the food stalls had a lineup longer than the roller coaster’s. Everyone comes to Disney, or any amusement park, for joy. None of us found any of that from Hong Kong Disney. Many 1-star reviews put it very precisely and concisely: very expensive, too many people, few attractions, and so ill-designed and managed for the summer.

Pack an umbrella and be ready for long lines! Download the app before you go so you have access to a map of the place as well as see estimated wait times for the rides. If you want to avoid line ups for beverages keep your eyes peeled for vending machines. For a few HKD more you can often get a cold drink without lining up in the heat. If you have limited time it may be worthwhile investing in the fast pass to get accelerated access to the rides but it does add up quickly!

WHAT A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE! Kids will really enjoy the exciting fun inside the Disneyland. We went to Disneyland on a weekend and there were really many visitors. I recommend coming on a weekdays so lines are not long and so you can enjoy photo opportunity with different disney characters. Also, we went on last week of April so the weather is really sunny and it is really hot walking and exploring the kingdom. I recommend going on November to February so the weather is nice for a long walk. I also recommend buying tickets online so it is easy on the entrance. They will just scan your code and you’re ready to enter. Gates open at 9AM do better be in line 15 minutes ahead. Exploring Disneyland is one of a kind and I recommend you bring the whole family as adults will also enjoy. Have fun!

Hong Kong Disneyland is Asian version compared to other parks. As we visited Disneyland-Paris, we observed the landscape is also similar, But we visited both the parks in around 8 year gap. But enjoyment is unlimited & a wonderful experience for kids. We stayed in the adjacent Disney Resort where the park entry is provided for 2 days (Check-in/Check-out days), which gave us enormous time to discover & enjoy the park to the fullest. But if you are directly visiting the park only, you may need to be there at the opening time itself to cover all attractions and a full day is sufficient to cover. We can easily reach by Hong Kong Metro from any part of Hongkong. Just like other Disney parks, the parade of cartoon characters is the special event. Also there are long queues to snap a picture with cartoon characters. Sometimes, it takes around 1 hour in the queue, to snap a pic. Obviously the most famous/liked character will have longer queues. Last but not least, food outlets are available inside the park & bit costly & may not be the fully dependent for economy trips.

Really good theme park. So amazing that it is still so fascinating though it is the smallest and plainest Disney theme park which is on a challenging budget. So hard to imagine what's in for Walt Disney World.

Truly, the happiest place on Earth! We visited last April 2019 with the fam. This was my sister and I’s first Disneyland, we were so excited! We enjoyed the rides!! We collected stickers like a kid and we’re just all over the place. Several shops, diners and restaurants to choose from. SO MUCH FUN!! My favorite ride was the AntMan and Wasp because I get to shoot lasers, adrenaline was high! At night, we experienced the fireworks and magical parade. I seriously don’t wanna leave! I really hope we could go back again! Sooooon.

Before u go:- First of all check the weather before you go there. If it’s too hot then you will waste your time and money both. Waiting and walking in sun light no air-con anywhere and also is a bit of walk to just buy the ticket specially if you has kids with you. Everything closes at 8pm so be aware that you cover most of it before 8:00pm after they start music show which last almost an hr. One of the best amusement parks for people of every age. The waiting time for popular rides are insane. buy Premium access to the good rides or just wait in queue for some time for your turn. Even after premium access there's no guarantee, if the ride breaks down before your turn you're done. You have to plan your day before you. There's a lot to do and explore though. The day we visited it was extremely crowded. Food- if you can’t eat Asian food buy some from outside otherwise you will end up searching and having heavenly food straight from above. When you ready to leave:- Just leave before everybody leave otherwise you will wait forever waiting for taxi or Uber. (Try to rush to your taxi otherwise by the time you reach to them they will cancel(remember it’s a lot of walk to go outside too)

Classic Disney experience. Easy to get to from Kowloon or Hong Kong Central via metro. I see no need to purchase a tour package, opting to just book tickets direct from Disney on-line, and avoid the long ticket purchasing queue. Sadly a few eateries and attractions were closed during our visit, but still a very lovely day. Impressive music, lights and fireworks show ends the evening.

Must visit places in Hong Kong. This place makes you visit your childhood again. The best time to visit is during Tue-Thu when the crowd is low in comparison to the weekend. They allow outside food, you just need to make sure they are ready to eat and not required heating. Always try to book for 2 days as you cannot cover this park in one day.

Not a Disney baby but I enjoyed the place! It feels like I am a child once again :) Theater performances are must-watch! My fave is the Avengers-themed attraction :) The zones are huge so you have to arrive early at the park to be able to go around and enjoy the attractions. There are also schedules of the events you may want to watch our for. Food is of course pricey :) The castle was under renovation when we visited in Nov 2019.

(Translated by Google) I really like Hong Kong Disneyland! Because I was born in Hong Kong, the first amusement park I went to was Hong Kong Disneyland. You might think that going to Disneyland is expensive and expensive but not good. I don’t agree that Hong Kong Disneyland’s food is actually ok. Good food, although everything I eat is flat, the two rides I like most are Grizzly Valley and Space Mountain, both of which are roller coasters, so exciting! In fact, they are all pretty good. If you want to buy souvenirs, there are many shops as soon as you enter, so you can buy dolls, water cups, keychains and so on! But if it is expensive, someone will definitely ask, but because the tickets of Hong Kong Disneyland are so expensive, I don’t want to play it. In fact, as long as you go to Disneyland and get a gold card, you don’t have to buy a ticket! (I have a gold card in my mind as if to make you buy a ticket) In short, if you want to go to the amusement park, go to Hong Kong Disneyland!

Well, this is second week after this park re- opened again for public. Better buy ticket online then reserve date for coming. Go show ticket is available but subject to visitor limitation. Park open at 10.30 am and close at 7.30 pm. Bring your own meals or snack if necessary, lunch is quite expensive here $$$

When you are there it's like being in a happy place, magical and a fantasy land. It's a place where everybody around is also happy. The staff at the Disneyland is always very helpful and patient. It's amazing to see so many kinds of food shaped like Mickey mouse. The special decorations for Halloween and Christmas never fail to impress.

Disneyland is one of my dream theme park. we were very lucky bcause not really crowded at that time, probably it's impact from HK demonstration. Really enjoy... we spent the whole day from opening to closing and watched the parade

Not just for kids adult love it too. Is indeed a nice place to bring your kids and enjoy the rides. Even though is smaller than other disneyland, they are well maintained and the ppl there is nice. Spend a whole day there and the kids enjoy. Be there on weekdays so no ne3d to queue . End the day with fireworks

It is really the happiest place on earth especially if you're with friends or family. For a day, I forgot my problems, worries and just enjoy the day. Been there so many times but still I can't get enough of it, everytime I went there, it's completely a different experience. 😊 Rain or shine, it's my happy place.

Clean place, nice staff, the app waiting time sometimes is not up to date. You know the quality of Disneyland facilities, nothing surprised or exceptional. Thrilling: 3/5; Fantasy: 4/5; Shows/parades: 4.5/5

The overall experience was great. I loved it, the queue for the ride took about 30mins. Too bad we couldn't take any close up photo with be character due to covid policy, but the price could reduced a little. Everything seem to cost so much.the fire work was scheduled so late as well for some reason, not sure why.

I should have given 5 star but the issue is waiting time was too long. For every ride and show, we waited about 30 min to 1 hour that means 60 percent of our time was wasted in queing outside for each show. All shows was very interesting.

  • 5/5 Don A. 1 year ago on Google
Make sure you bring a stroller & good walking shoes. It's always good to visit when it's cold. You'll sweat like crazy during summer & the humidity will cut your time short. This place is magical to say the least. Kids will love it.

I visited Disneyland Hong Kong last week. You should bring a water bottle and umbrella to protect yourself from the sun, there will be many places to refill water for free. When you get here, you need to download the app or look on the web to see maps and waiting time for each places. I suggest that the flyer can be distributed because it is easier to see and can make children more excited. Many games are diverse, the food selling here also very good. The process is strict, but there are not many employees in the middle of the road, it is difficult to locate where you are. The MTR to bring here is designed in accordance with Disneyland standards. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay at night to watch the fireworks show. The ticket price is quite expensive when compared to the Universal Studio I used to go, twice as expensive, but the number of similar games is even less. I came here on weekdays but I must wait 40~120 minutes each shows/games. Better that you can buy fast pass ticket if you don’t want to wait that long.

Wonderful experience at HK Disneyland. You can enjoy both outdoor rides & indoor shows on a single entry ticket. Senior Citizens aged 65 & above have to HK $ 100 only. A minimum of two days visit will be required. Minimum wait time shown separately for all shows. Must watch Light & sound and fire work show at 20.30 hrs, which was superb.

One of the best Disneyland resort out of the 6. It's very convenient not expensive very tourist and family friendly. I highly recommend when going to HK it is a must. They also opened new rides in 2023 so have fun !

This was my first Disneyland experience, and it was EPIC. All the rides from kids to adult sections, they are all filled with thrill, nostalgia, and visually pleasing effects. Unfortunately, fireworks were canceled on the day I visited, but I still enjoyed the momentous show at the end. Staff at Disneyland are very polite & professional. Lines at all the rides move quickly. If you go on weekdays, you can just buy the regular pass and cover all the rides in a single day. My favourite rides: Toy Soldier Parachute Drop: Great ride if you have a fear of heights. It’s a classic drop from a height sort of a ride with a Disney twist. RC Car: Probably the best ride in the park (Roller Coasters are a different league) Hyperspace Mountain: Great adrenaline rush giving roller coaster that is set in complete darkness, then you’re in space defeating aliens. Star Wars fans will love it. May the force be with you. Always. Big Grizzly Mine Carts: This is a 3 minute long Roller Coaster. This ride will have the biggest line at the park. It moves quickly though because of ample amounts of carts. I don’t wanna spoil anything just go and enjoy the time of your life. Overall, highly recommended to visit if you are in Hong Kong.

Went on a wkday. Still a little crowded. Had the chance to explore a soft launch opening of the new Frozen landmark. Bet this will be a hit when it is officially open to public. No fireworks as a mark of respect for a recent passing of an ex China Premier. Overall good outing!

  • 5/5 YouGo M. 4 months ago on Google
Not taking much time to play the rides, approximately 15-20 minutes top. The firework show just so spectacular and totally worth to wait. The DisneyLand located near the airport so we going to see an airplane taking off/landing all day long. We'll never forget this precious memory 27/10/23

  • 5/5 Dine K. 4 months ago on Google
It was a fun and beautiful place. The rides were joyful and there's a great range to choose from. Our favorites were the Lion King show (superb), the grizzly bear roller coaster and the Frozen Forever Ever After boat ride. We tried almost all the rides except those at the Fantasyland, which were designed for the much younger kids (below 5). The fireworks show at the end of the day marks a fantastic end to our day. We bought a 2 days pass, so we managed to cover the whole park, we got tickets for 2 adults, 2 kids (aged 6&8). My kids enjoyed themselves so much! Definitely recommended 👌 P. S. We stayed at the Disneyland hotel, it was the best hotel I had stayed in. They have shuttle bus to the park.

It’s not too big so you can visit all the main attractions in one day if you arrive early. The app is also helpful. The fireworks display is awesome!

It was our first time, and it was really worth it! Rode 5 attractions and 2 shows in one day and it was so much fun! The best part is the fireworks at night time, and it was really worth the wait!

Very crowded even on a Tuesday. Recommend to buy tickets in advance and get a fast pass. Bring water and snacks for small kids and a cap even in winter, it's sunny. Frozen was way too crowded and up to 90 mins wait.

It's always fantastic and magical spending a day here at Hong Kong Disneyland. Everything was perfect and the whole-new World of Frozen is just the icing on the cake! That place was beautiful - I love their idea to let the main characters walk around and interact with people. I feel like I was literally visiting Arendelle! The experience was amazing and worth every penny!

Nice park, and the attractions are enjoyable. Only 1 star missing because the employees are not like cast members like the other parks, as such, they kinda take away from the experience you expect.
