One of beautiful Buddhist monastery located in Hong Kong. The views in this place is really breathtaking. You have to book online before you going there. Otherwise you’re not allowed to enter this place. Once you enter you can see amazing architecture and one pf largest Buddha statue. Further there is museum also located in this place. In there you can see priceless Buddha statues and lot more other things. You can easily get there from Tai Po Market station and get mini bus to get there. This is one of must visit places on Hong Kong because you can feel and see some breathtaking scenarios in here. The place is close at 5pm every day so make sure to get there early as possible because at least you have to spend 2 hours in here to see all scenarios. Overall well recommended to visit this place if you’re in Hong Kong

This will allow you to make the most of your time and immerse yourself in the various experiences offered throughout the day. Arriving ahead of schedule ensures that you have ample opportunity to enjoy and engage in all the enriching events and activities that have been organized.

What a great place to spend the day. My partner and I visited on a weekday. We made reservations via their website and ended up staying until they closed. There was so much to do, so much to learn, and also, so much to just absorb. While there is the energy of all the visitors there, the staff works hard to maintain the sanctity of the temple, to keep the silence a priority. They have maps for visitors with a scavenger hunt that allows you to learn about the monastery, as well as Buddhist practices which were really appreciated. They served vegetarian bao, cheesecake, and tea or coffee free to their guests. They offer calligraphy and forest bathing workshops. They also have the first Buddhist Museum in Hong Kong filled with many artifacts mostly from China, but also from around the world. Finally, their beautiful Guan Yin which presides over the temple, the watchful gaze and radiation of compassion is serenely felt. Overall the place is well organized, very well maintained and manicured, and a great place to learn about Mahayana Buddhism. It's a wonderful place to be at just to take in the peacefulness and slow down. I hope you find your way there. A 🪷 for you, a Buddha to be 🙏🏽

My first visit. I was amazed by how mountainous this place was. The monastery comprised a giant statue of the Goddess of Mercy, a modern museum on Buddhism, offices, prayer halls cafe etc with toilets that are luxuriously designed with full air-conditioning. Very well constructed. Beautifully landscaped. Immaculately maintained and run by staff who are smartly uniformed and well trained to follow the teachings of Buddhism when welcoming and serving visitors. All paid for by the Li Ka Shing Foundation. Entry is free but must be pre-booked as the management wants to avoid overcrowding. Even the gourmet coffee and cheese cakes served at the cafe were free. There is public bus that shuttle visitors between the MTR and bus stations and the monastery. A wonderful place worth visiting by anyone of any faith.

Visit Tsz shan Monastery. Worth to visit. Free in everything. Just book in advance at least 30 days on the website. Great view and peaceful place. There're museum and cafe inside which give free drink and cake, but you can donate if you prefer. We spent 2 hours here
