Jamia Mosque is the oldest mosque in Hong Kong. Located in the Mid Level's Hong Kong area, which is the longest escalator in Hong Kong. This historic building is in the middle of a modern building. However, the Jamia Mosque is still well-maintained to this day.

Beautiful ancient masjid. One of the oldest if not the oldest masjid in Hong Kong. Use the Central- Mid Levels escalators to get here.

Jamia Mosque was awarded the status of Grade 1 in the list of Hong Kong’s historical buildings by the Government of Hong Kong SAR in May 2010 Many tourists visit this historical mosque commonly known as shelley street mosque by taking mid level escalator.

Here you will find a delightful Neoclassical mosque nestling in a rustic, although rather rundown, enclave at the top of a meandering stone staircase. Apart from the mosque itself, with its quaint minarets, there are a number of other buildings around. What is surprising is the amount of open space there is. The mature vegetation also keeps the noise of the city at bay, which makes it a good place for a rest stop.

It's an historical landmark that stands on a lushly vegetated acre of land that is home to a unique squatter community. It's a testament to the long history of Muslims in Hong Kong. And it's a retreat from the crush of city life where anyone, Muslim or not, is welcome. A mosque has stood on Shelley Street since 1850

Jamia Mosque located at Mid-level, and it's the oldest mosque in Hong Kong. The building has a long history and the mosque is well maintained. The mosque is right next to the escalator, it's easy to reach and there is not much to walk here. However, as there are stairs in their front gate, wheelchairs may not be accessible. You are not allowed to enter the mosque without approval, but you are free to walk around outside. Prayers here are so friendly, but try not to disturb the prayers during your visit

The oldest mosque in Hongkong. Situated amidst of concrete jungle. It has traditional mosque architecture. And eventhough it is quite old, the ablution room and toilet are very clean. Feel at peace in this location

This iconic mosque is located in a peaceful environment, far from the chaos of the city yet easy to access (because of the 'longest' escalator).

A serene place to pray in the mid levels. I was amazed to discover this old mosque in the middle of the mountain yet amongst the tall HK buildings. Very quite and peaceful place to offer one's prayers. Great views of the HK central too.

Beautifully maintained. Clean and a great place for Muslims to go and pray, or for non Muslims to go and learn more about Islam. It’s also a historically important piece of architecture

The masjid is well maintained. The ablution facilities as well as the restrooms are clean and tidy. It is conveniently located next to the mid-levels escalators and is at a walking distance from a number of public transport stops.
