Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Kau Yan Church was previously a church for Hakka people from China during the time of the Taiping Rebellion in the mid-19th century. A church known as Sai Kwok Lau (四角樓) was established in 1861 by the Society of Basel Mission (巴色傳道會) whose missionaries first came to Hong Kong from Switzerland in 1847. After various moves and changes of name a permanent home was found and the present church was built in 1931-1932. In December 1941, when Hong Kong came under Japanese invasion, the Church became a refugee shelter for the residents nearby. The Church was believed to have been designed by the well known local architectural firm of Palmer and Turner. The architectural style is Neo-Gothic with some Tudor features externally, but internally Romanesque arches, and Neo-Classical columns and beams are found. This mixture of styles gives the church a transitional feel of moving from one architectural style to another which is not uncommon in early churches.

Built in the 1930s in concrete and with Neo-gothic exterior. Features a short but nice tower and window arches that surround the church. This is one of the stops on the self-walk Western District and Peak Route (route B) heritage trail.

The Salvation Church of the Hong Kong Tsung Tsin Church is a Protestant church in Xiyingpan, Central and Western District, Hong Kong. It is located at the junction of West Street and High Street, south of the West District Community Center. The current church site is a Gothic Revival design and was rebuilt in 1932. It was rated as a Grade 3 historic building in 1990, and was later recognized as a Grade 1 historic building in Hong Kong on 2 September 2011.

😐 St. Paul's Church is located on Glenealy just south of the Fringe Club and the LKF district. 👍 Lovely location in the clouds overlooking Victoria Harbour. Lovely service that really spoke to me. But not particularly friendly - the sort of place where the church meeting is fantastic but would take a bit of time and effort to really make friends.
