Kowloon
Tsai
Park
provides
a
large
variety
of
recreational
facilities,
including
kiosks,
a
lot
of
small
rest
areas,
a
public
swimming
pool
(currently
still
under
reconstruction),
a
race
track,
two
football
fields
with
artificial
grass,
a
football
field
with
natural
grass,
two
basketball
courts,
two
tennis
courts,
a
Bauhinia
Garden
and
some
playgrounds
for
children.
The
main
football
field
has
running
tracks
and
a
spectator
stand
with
bathroom
facilities.
The
grandstand
seats
a
grand
total
of
1,216
people.
Next
to
it
is
the
iconic
Checkerboard
Hill,
which
used
to
guide
planes
to
Kai
Tak
Airport.
The
park
is
very
big,
about
12
hectares
in
total,
so
there
are
a
lot
of
places
for
a
morning
jog,
stroll,
or
hike
with
a
nice
and
happy
feeling
after
a
tough
day
with
trees
and
flowers
surrounding
while
still
in
the
centre
of
town.
There
is
also
a
lot
of
places
for
picnics
and
outdoor
activities
on
the
large
grassland
while
looking
at
the
beautiful
and
spectacular
landscape
of
the
Lion
Rock
Mountain.
Best
of
all,
it’s
completely
free
to
enjoy,
relax,
or
just
inhale
a
patch
of
fresh
air
at
the
park.
Therefore,
I
fully
recommend
going
to
Kowloon
Tsai
Park,
whether
it’s
today,
next
week,
or
next
month!
