背景:九龍佐治五世紀念公園於1940年8月開始興建,於1941年6月11開幕。當時公園內仲有英國嘅國王George唔使驚銅像,但係今日已經唔見到個銅像。

交通:九巴的2E,3C,14,203C,238P,238X,260X,268B,269B,110的佐敦炮台街台於公園佐敦道入口附近。港鐵的佐敦站A出口,步近5分鐘亦可到達。
感想:九龍佐治五世紀念公園經擴建後,仍保留中國官殿式的牌樓及園林設計,並且加入大量的綠化空間,花草樹木眾多,及提供多種休憩設施,
例如足球及籃球場(維修中),兒童遊樂場(如滑梯,木馬,千秋),長者健體園地(如太極揉推器)。因此公園是好適合街坊及居民於"日間休憩"的地方。(入夜時份,不同國藉人士,露宿者開始增多,建議有朋友陪同下休憩會較有安全感)
公園內乘涼的中式牌樓,涼亭,有蓋的長椅均可讓遊人休息,而且(總計)椅子數量亦充足。
