One of the interesting thins to see at Kowloon Park is the small outdoor aviary located in the middle of the park near the Bird Lake and Viewing Cone. The aviary is open from 6.30am to 6.45pm (March to October) and until 5.45pm (November to February). The aviary is basically a hilltop circular enclosure which you can walk around and view interesting exotic birds. There are 4 or 5 separated areas that include around 20 bird varieties including some beautiful and talkative Macaws, Rhinoceros Hornbills, Palm Cockatoos and other birds of interest. Note that midday visits during hot days can be a dud if the birds are not active are sticking to the shade and not active. They can be difficult to see through the thick nets as well. Mid morning and visits later in the day can be much better for seeing the birds active and calling. In the end, this is a ok aviary, worth a quick pass by if you plan to be at Kowloon Park. However, it is not something that will measure up to nicer and larger aviary grounds you may have seen elsewhere. For an impressive Aviary experience, try the Edward Youde Aviary at Hong Kong Park on the island. That is a quality place to visit and view birdlife.

Lovely quiet little spot in the heart of the most crowded city on earth. Great to get away from the noise and all the people to enjoy a coffee with the birds.

A simple place to view birds, just one giant circular exhibit of various birds at a distance. But very relaxing, nice to sit and hear the birds.

There are about ten species of birds, and it is great to be able to watch them for free in Hong Kong. However, the bird cages are still too thin, which makes me feel very pitiful for these birds. I hope that after I die, I will no longer keep animals here for display.

One of my favorite things to visit in Kowloon Park. There are different types of birds that you can see most of them are inside their own area. I don’t have any idea what the species of birds are from but it’s really interesting. The Aviary Park is great because they also have some resting area/place to sit on the side after walking all around watching the birds.

Not the best place to see birds. Admiralty park has much bigger and better experience. However, seeing a few birds in cages is your thing, this is a good place to visit. However, flamingos are a really good thing

(Translated by Google) There were noisy birds during the walk, and as we climbed the road, there was a new breeding ground called the swan, and we had a bunch of different kinds of parrots gathered round us. It is not a joke that the birds are so big. And I see that there are several tables carved with chessboard along the perimeter, so it seems to be a park not only for children but also for adults.
