Very good place for a stroll or having a drink enjoying the views of Hong Kong City from the Main Land. The Avenue is quite interesting if you are a lover of the cinema of Hong Kong. It is a pleasure to see the memories of old and current Stars there and even in Hollywood. There is a light and music Spectacle in the evening. The light part is amazing, the music one is very poor. But I recommend to attend once at least in your visit to the Magic City.

My favorite place in the Hongkong. I visited this more than 5 times in a month and even on mooncake festival day also. It is a very good place to just sit for the whole evening and watch the busy life of Hongkong and how the evening falls there. And the awesome moment is at 8 pm when the light show happens with music. You won't feel boar even you visit 100 times to this place. Must must visit place in the Hongkong.

The view in the evening is amazing. I see people come there for a walk or to exercise or just sightseeing. I liked how the view looks in the night! Here are some of the pictures I took in the evening before I got lost in the beauty this place offered me in the night. 🤍

What a lovely place. It was fun finding the signs and reading about their accomplishments. I only knew Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li, but it was a nice walk to see them. The place gets so busy in the evening. You are right on the harbour side so you get a great view of the boats passing by. We found the Bruce Lee statue which was amazing. Really detailed and a great tribute.

The Avenue of Stars is a great place to see the harbor and the Symphony of Lights - a light show on the skyline at night. I would recommend getting there a bit earlier to make sure you have a good spot to see the show. This area is also not to far from many high end stores and hotels.

Stunning walkway and views! You can sit by the bench or go to the rooftop bar and enjoy the atmosphere. It is extremely busy and can be crowded in the late evening time. There are celebrities, stars, and directors of Hongkong information along the way. It was fun to hunt the one you like.

Avenue of the Stars is a wide and easy to walk promenade that provides amazing views of the Hong skyline and of the ferry in the harbor. You can get some fresh air and admire the concrete jungle or just sit and people watch. It's up to you. The highlights are the skyscrapers ahead of you and the ferry crossing the bay. Keep an eye open for the Bruce Lee statue too

It's an amazing view at night. Hong Kong on a free spectacular light show. Emphasizing the skyscrapers at Victoria Harbour. Your trip will not be complete without a viewing of this free night time spectacle. A variety of dinner cruises and sightseeing tours. You can also choose to stay on land and watch.

Update 12/9/2022… This is definitely the gem of HK. The water front is gorgeous always. You will never tire of it every times I get there. The area is reinvented with new landmarks. Highly recommended.

Hong Kong has beautiful harbor view and this place allows you to see the Victoria Harbor and the skyline of Central across the harbor. Also a perfect place for a stroll in the day (for Vitamin D therapy) or at night (to enjoy the breeze). Excellent place for picture taking too! If you like shopping, you can go to the nearby K11 MUSEA to shop and then rest in this promenade.

Better to visit in the evening. The view is amazing and it’s ao calm in the night. The light show starts at 8.00pm. Be there to witness it at least once. You could only hear sounds from kowloon side.

Iconic landmark and definitely one of the not to be missed spots. There’s lots to do and see on this promenade - be captivated by the handprints of Hong Kong’s “stars”, the Water of Stars fountain show outside K11 Musea, Van Gogh’s ear sculpture and all with the Victoria Harbour background. You can stroll all the way to Whampao in Hung Hom. One of the best times to visit is sunset 🌇

I'd rather be here in the morning or in the evening because the scenery is so beautiful. There are handprints of famous people in Hong Kong. At night this place is pretty crowded because there's a free light show at 8 p.m.

I had the pleasure of visiting Hong Kong's Avenue of Stars in February, and it was an absolute delight. This famous waterfront promenade showcases the talent and charm of Hong Kong's film industry while offering stunning views of the city's skyline. The Avenue of Stars is a perfect spot to soak in the mesmerizing beauty of Victoria Harbour. As I explored the promenade, I couldn't help but be captivated by the dazzling cityscape and the reflections dancing on the water. The romantic atmosphere was simply enchanting. One of the main attractions of the Avenue of Stars is the handprints and commemorative plaques of legendary Hong Kong film stars. These tributes were fascinating to behold, and I found myself admiring the contributions of these talented individuals to the local film industry. It was a thrilling experience to walk among the footsteps of Hong Kong's cinematic giants. Additionally, along the promenade, there were informative panels that showcased the history and impact of Hong Kong cinema. These displays provided valuable insights into the city's cultural heritage and its influence on the global film scene. I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the artistic legacy of Hong Kong. Being located adjacent to the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, the Avenue of Stars benefits from a prime location. It is easily accessible and offers great opportunities for taking memorable photographs. I can only imagine how spectacular it would be during the evening when the Symphony of Lights takes over the night sky

The Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, is a dazzling waterfront promenade that pays homage to the luminaries of the city's thriving film industry. Stretching along Victoria Harbour, this iconic attraction seamlessly combines panoramic views with a celebration of cinematic excellence. The allure of the Avenue lies not only in its stunning vistas of the Hong Kong skyline but also in the glittering handprints and statues of revered film stars that line its walkway. As day transitions to night, the Symphony of Lights, a synchronized multimedia show, transforms the skyline into a mesmerizing display of colors, further enhancing the allure of the Avenue. Visitors can relish the immersive experience of being surrounded by the names of legendary actors and actresses embedded in the promenade, creating a sense of connection to the glamour of the silver screen. The Avenue's design, with its sleek architecture and interactive elements, invites exploration and engagement, making it a destination for both film enthusiasts and casual admirers alike. Beyond its cinematic charm, the Avenue of Stars serves as a communal space, attracting locals and tourists seeking respite along the waterfront. Its vibrant atmosphere, cultural significance, and the sheer beauty of its surroundings make it a quintessential Hong Kong experience, capturing the essence of the city's entertainment legacy against the backdrop of a dazzling urban landscape.

The View is very brilliant even in the night, a landscape of Hong Kong island with many skyscrapers and high hill in behind. Also this spot is very busy and energetic, there are people taking the dog for a walk or even people who jogging at around midnight. Lastly its very beautiful roadside garden and rare plant which I really appreciated!

Great place to watch sunset, you can clearly see the sunset here and the city lights coming when it gets dark. But unfortunately, lot of people also come here to take pictures, so you need to be like first come first get the great place. But overall, really worth to come during the sunset!

It was buzzing, fantastic atmosphere, and everyone was out. The Dior tree was spectacular as where all the harbour buildings that were lit up to celebrate the festive season It's definitely worth a stroll

Even though I don’t know some of the Hong Kong stars exhibited on the Avenue of Stars I do appreciate the whole commemoration to the stars with their handprints and all the excellence they’ve done with their body of work. It’s a long walk from the beginning to the end but don’t miss it and just walk on the side handrails so you can see the whole Avenue of Stars.

2023 August 4.5★ An open boardwalk along the harbour with impressive views across to Hong Kong island. Labeled as the avenue of stars as the railing along the walkway is casted hand prints of stars. Too bad they don't have figures of the actual stars, only the hand prints. There are 3 near the eastern end of the walkway, however, few. Still a great place to visit.

This place is a long stretch by the river and might take about 5-10mins to walk from one end to the other. Previously came in the evening for the symphony of the lights show but there was too many people and it was quite chaotic. Went to catch the sunrise on a weekday morning and it was perfect! Apart from a few joggers the place was quite empty. Plenty of photo opportunities! Do note that it can be quite chilly due to the wind.

We visit this day and night time. I feel both day and time is a good place for taking photo, best to visit during evening till night as afternoon will be very hot weather. Evening time also can take very nice sunset photo. One of the place that must visit at Hong Kong.

  • 5/5 Gabriel 4 months ago on Google
Really nice place. There is a light show at 8pm but would suggest to come on a weekday as the crowd can be insane. There will be people hogging the front spots even from 7.30pm for the light show so do reach early if you want to have a front view. The light show in my opinion was not magnificient but decent enough. Will come by again in the day.

A light show to be enjoyed at 20:00h on a daily basis. If you happen to be in TST it’s nice to see it once. If you are at the mall (K11) or walking on the boulevard (constructions at the moment), do note it will get busy around this time. It is pretty unique to see the light show across the skyline of Hong Kong island.

Many tourist in the area and many of them are rather inconsiderate. Had to squeeze pass many who are taking pictures and oblivious of their surroundings. Couldn’t get to the railings where the celebrities’ hand prints are located due to the extreme number of tourists. I would suggest to visit earlier in the day or on a weekday. However, the night view along the Harbour is good and shouldn’t be missed.

Very nice place to go with a date. Luckily on the day that I went the weather was erfect . Be very careful with scammers that would come and tell you your fortune is good, they would ask you to write your name down on a book and further instruct you. They mainly target single/solo tourist on their own. Do not fall for the scam!

Statue of Anita Mui at Avenue of Stars at the promenade in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Anita was a popular Hong Kong singer and actress who made major contributions to Cantonese pop music. She received numerous awards and honours in this field and remained an idol throughout her career. She was dubbed as the "daughter of Hong Kong" and is considered one of the most iconic Cantonese pop singers. The pond associated with the Statue of Anita Mui provides a very good reflection surface for taking spectacular picture of the statue. Due to the size and shape of the pond, good mirror reflection image of the Statue can only be taken in the morning.

Wow! What an amazing experience, to watch the lightshow and music played every night which light up the skyscrapers of Hong Kong island. Definitely a place that you will remember if you witnessed the light show once. Don't miss out on this experience when you are in the Hong Kong area!

Beautiful place! Starry the evening and blissful and calm In the mornings! The symphony of lights is a good one to watch and relax with family or friends. Malls and eatery joints available nearby. If you have plans to walk from one end to the other make sure to wear comfy shoes else get ready for a sore toe 🐒 There are ferries like Aqualuna etc. Which offer you unlimited drinks and view of the Victoria harbor in the waters. It's a " aah naah " for tourists on a budget and a packed itinerary.

Awesome place to get a paranomic view of hongkong harbor. Place is heaven for photography and for people looking to spend quality time with family or jogging/walking. There is a light show that happens around 8pm for 6-7 minutes and worth watching.

Best known artistes of Hong Kong are remembered in the Avenue of Stars. Jacky Cheung, Anita Yuen, Aaron Kwok and many others. You can also choose a spot here for the Symphony of Lights show from 8pm to 8.10pm.

The place to go when in Hong Kong, especially if you're familiar with Hong Kong stars. Mostly foggy, better go in the morning because once it's the evening, it's packed full with locals and tourists. Great views for long strolls and jogs.

It’s a super popular spot for tourists since that’s the general image of Hong Kong that people come here for! As a local myself, the view of Victoria harbour never gets old! Additionally, you get to also see the statute of the cinema lady as well as handprints of very famous actors and actresses from HK cinema like jacky Chan and Bruce Lee. They used to be imprints on the ground but now they’re on the side rails

Very good view of the night time skyline in Hongkong Island. I was fortunate enough coz my hostel was very close to this place — very convenient for me. It was a bit crowded when I visited it as the people going there were probably to check out the Symphony of Lights that was said to be best viewed from there. Anyway, with or without the said activity, this place is a must visit especially for those who love night time skyline views.

Iconic part of the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, the statues of Bruce Lee and Anita Mui are very popular photo spots. You may not be able to get a photo without a crowd of people unless you wait. The area also offers amazing views across to Wan Chai and Central on the other side of Victoria Harbour. Don't miss your chance to take a memorable photo. Day or night, this is a very popular area of TST.

Stunning skyline in Hong Kong, I captured the beautiful harbour view casually by using my ordinary smart phone.

  • 5/5 Hong Q. 5 months ago on Google
This is mainly a busy tourist attraction, a must visit for any visitors to Hong Kong. However you do find local people there, and many also use it as a running route. The Avenue of Stars is well maintained, where you can find the hand prints or pictures, and a short bio of many famous Asian entertainers, somewhat similar to Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The view from the Avenue is breathtakingly beautiful, 24h around the clock, as the skyscrapers on the Hong Kong Island glistening under the sun or sparkling with lights after dark, right in front of your eyes, across the famous Victoria harbor. The nightly symphony of lights show at 8 PM attracts large crowds . For better view of the light show, you should consider watching it from a boat.

  • 5/5 Wilfred Laurence L. 5 months ago on Google
You didnt go to Hong Kong if you did not visit the ever famous avenue of the stars! Prolly, the most visited spot and most notable destination for tourists in Hong Kong! Enjoy the symphony of lights in the evening or the warm breeze in the morning!

  • 5/5 A V (. 5 months ago on Google
It’s the continuation of the Harbour Promenade on Kowloon Peninsula. It overlooks a stretch of the skyline of Hongkong Island across from Victoria Harbour. It’s a tribute to Hongkong actors, some of whom are also Hollywood actors. It’s a pretty promenade with seating area underneath several structures that look like whale tails. Some of the whale canopies have ivy plants that provide shade. The attraction here is the railing on the promenade upon which are molded silver handprints and/or stenciled face profiles of actors (men and women). There’s also a brief description of who these actors are/were, and notations of some of the movies they were in. It’s crowded in the late afternoons and early evenings.
