With good seaview, dockyard with small boats moving, harmony while the sunset. Swimming pool at 76/F with great view. All you can eat Dim Sum afternoon tea for 2 hours, all are served with hot and fresh food. Less dessert choices. Only 3 types, may be extended to some cold one will be better. Nice and polite staff. Will visit again. 😊

GREAT hotel. Amazing service, truly 5 star. Nice buffet. Great rooms, very clean and well equipped. I hadn't stayed in a 5 star hotel for a few years so it was quite the refresher. The design of the hotel is progressive and modern, not stuffy and conservative like the Ritz Carton which is next door. The W is also connected to The Element Mall so very easy to do some good shopping, quick eats and find an ATM. I can't wait to go back.

The room was spacious and super clean. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. I also wanna specifically thank the W Insider Calista for making my stay memorable! Thank you Calista for the blessings regarding my uni graduation :) ❤️

Excellent location with direct undercover access to the train station - local stations and the fast train to the airport. It's connected to Elements shopping mall, and the happening new West Kowloon cultural and arts district is just a five-minute walk away. The rooms are very comfortable. Had an excellent treatment at the spa. The gym has top-of-the-line Technogym equipment, and the rooftop pool and whirlpool are awesome. Very helpful staff.

Nice guest room with great ocean view. Modern facilities in the room. The bed was comfortable. Convenient location to airport using MTR airport express. But slightly overpriced over its value. Reception and concierge staffs offer acceptable level of service. There are rooms for improvement with experience and training. But the worst experience was when I asked the staffs to organise a bigger taxi for my oversized luggage. Rather they gave the group before us that taxi and simply dumped our luggages in the boot of a small taxi. Then either the taxi driver or the staffs used force to close the boot cover, my expensive aluminum luggage was then dented and scratched to fit into the boot. My friend even asked me to seek compensation which i am considering. W Hong Kong did call me afterwards explaining the issue. However, the person's response to the issue was deeply disappointing. Rather than trying to understand and listen to customer’s concern, his response seemed to care more about avoiding responsibility and explaining his point of view. The fact he mentioned to me that he watched the CCTV over 50 times was passively sarcastic and ignorant thinking others couldn’t sense his intention. At the end his apology was robotic and lacked sincerity. I, however, did end the conversation in goodwill by thanking him for his call. Damage was done and I would’t hold the staffs responsible for it. I’d just avoid this hotel in the future to avoid the need to get aggressive just to get my points across as a customer.

This must be a joke. I stayed there end of October. But the whole time pipe in the toilet must have problem as it smelt like public toilet even though the toilet itself is clean. You’d have to keep the toilet shut otherwise the whole room would smell like public toilet. But the problem is that the shower cubicle and toilet cubicle shares one door so when you shower you have to let the toilet open and as a result the public toilet smell would go into the room. To be fair the front desk staff was nice and they probably would change the room for us if we wanted. But it wasn't a long stay and I thought the cleaners must know this if they wanted to solve the problem they would’ve. Since they didn’t I assumed it’s because of the problem lies in the pipe in the wall they can’t change that. So I didn't bother to change the room and just avoided staying in the room during the day. After the stay I got a link asking me to do a survey so I voiced my concern there. A few days later I got an email from Mink in customer relations. they said they’d follow up with the situation and offered 10k points as compensation. 10k was not a great compensation for ruining the experience for the whole stay but I didn’t care. So I thought fine. Cut to the end of November, not only there was no follow up on the issue, the 10k points were nowhere to be seen either. So I contacted W relations again and this time they didn’t even bother to reply, and that was 2 weeks ago. Already I felt pretty unimportant trying to be gotten rid of just by 10k points, but this is another level of rudeness that even the 10k was just a pretense, on top of that, even if you are petty enough to chase after 10k points, they don’t even care about you enough to reply. I’m sure there was probably some miscommunication/misunderstanding for this to happen but the fact that this happened in the first place means a lack of genuine care in the customer relations. Whatever I was offered was just formality response. And this aftermath negates whatever W Hong Kong did right during my stay and left with the impression of 1 star for me

Stayed at the W Hotel during quarantine and would recommend it - would come again for a normal stay. 🏆 What I liked - very comfortable bed linen & towels - in general, good views from the rooms - good service attitude - fun social activities that you can sign up for during your stay 💡 Improvement ideas - room could have been cleaner upon arrival - 2-layer toilette paper, that's a first at such a hotel - too many plastic containers and paper bags during food delivery - food pricing for in-room dining during quarantine stay is overpriced and the fresh juices are too small for 75 HKD

This is a lovely hotel. Service is excellent. Response to requests are extremely prompt. Food is extremely good and the portions are generous. I would rate this the best I have come across in all my hotel stays. The view is excellent and I also took some photos of some of the scenery and views from my hotel room. I am now in my 3rd day of stay and I felt I have to write before I finish my stay as I am indeed very happy to have chosen this hotel for my quarantine.

We stayed at wow suite and indeed was WOW! The view was amazing. The suite was spacious and well-equipped. The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi that can fit 2 adults comfortably. The location, service, and breakfast were great. One of my favorite hotels in HK

Being a Marriott Titanium member (>140 nights per year), I was highly disappointed of my stay at W Hongkong. It was greatly overpriced and did not provide any sense of luxury. Marriott classifies W within their luxury segment; a statement I cannot confirm. The experience felt like mass processing of guests; no 5 star service, no generosity, no customization, and no level to details The breakfast did have a good selection, but the experience was not enjoyable: 1) the breakfast room felt like a university canteen: loud, packed, messy and totally understaffed 2) the quality of ingredients was poor and did not reflect the high price. For example, the coffee was not at all enjoyable and the juices were not fresh. In a nutshell, I will most probably not return and look for alternative options that are either cheaper or provide a better experience.

There are 3 TVs in the room and the TVs in the living room and bedroom are quite big. We don't need to argue about what to watch. There's even a small TV in the bathroom. There is a comfy sofa in the room. It's good to sleep on. The sofa is L-shaped so two of us could sleep there. The service is quite good. We ordered room service and the staff reminded us to be careful because some dishes were hot. The bell staff is caring. One person in our group got hurt the day before, and the bell staff remembered and asked if my friend is okay. We had no problems during our stay.

I was already waiting in anticipation when I received an email from W Hong Kong welcoming me 3 days before my stay. Location is a little out of the way as you need to probably take the MTR to Hong Kong/Central station before you can go most of the touristy places, but I thought it was quite good as it has the Elements mall integrated as well as direct HKIA Express to the airport. However my disappointed started as soon as I arrived at the hotel. I was lugging heavy luggage and there was no one who came to assist me at the ground floor. I had to lug to the 6th floor which was the reception and the check in process took quite some time to complete. I thought I was happy for a moment when I was told I was upgraded to a harbour view but upon seeing the view I wondered if it is a harbour or a shipyard view. Facilities were pretty standard, the highlight is probably the rooftop top and the jacuzzis. There wasn't much surprise, except that the thing I always liked about W breakfast is the buffet spread that you can actually sit in the restaurant and eat for hours. I see a pattern that there are quite a lot of items which are pretty standard across W hotels and there is always a section which they will showcase the local cuisine. I enjoyed the prawn toast and the egg tarts a lot. However I was disappointed by the century egg congee, the egg tasted different and was hard. Also something special I noticed was they actually had a photo booth and a hair salon on the ground floor. For so much to pay for a stay in W, I would have expected the service to be better. Met some staff in the lift and they treat you like you are invisible. Not that am expecting some greeting they don't even smile or even nod their heads. This is something W Hong Kong has lots of room to improve on.

Design looks modern and slick but not well thought-through. We are traveling with a 10 month old and lots of the design details do not suit us. For example, the lights and curtain control panel on the night stand are lit up which are very distracting to babies during bedtime; the sliding doors are obviously a hazard as well; drinking water comes in aluminum cans so god forbid if you'd like to open one without waking up the baby (what's wrong with bottled waters anyway?). The location was indeed convenient for all kinds of shopping which is a big plus. Overall we would not stay here with babies.

Sad comedy of errors. ---- Great, spacious hotelroom itself with awesome sea views, regrettably ruined by rather incompetent management and staff. Not once, not twice but THREE times they confirmed our dining arrangement - only to find out halfway through our dinner (yes it was HALFWAY!) that this is not actually included in the "package". Demanded us to stop eating, treating the guests like scammers..Hello? What kind of customer service guidebook you guys use? And how an earth did you manage to confirm it in the first (second and third) place then?? ..like some terrible seinfeld episode. Several other issues reception telling us one thing only to find out later it is not accurate. Needless to say we walked away from our "dinner". Starbucks was nearby, great croissants. Five stars for the room service who kindly provided us extra room amenities & was prompt to response. Swimming pool not operational for which we were kindly given access to Ritz-Carlton pool (10mins walk) & facilities. ---- Coming back again? No thanks.

The 'W' has a fun, young and cool reputation overseas, but in Hong Kong it is just a China hotel. This isn't a hotel for westerners, if you're a westerner then go next door to the Ritz Carlton, it's more comfortable and welcoming there.

trendy, hip and comparatively 'young' hotel chain which is getting pretty old now great service from the lobby to the room they were especially helpful with the whenever / wherever, the housekeeping system fitness is still in service while the rooftop swimming pool is going thru renovation meanwhile you get the access to the pool at ritz carlton, which is located in icc just right next to the w but it's not like the two hotels are connected thru lobby (only thru elements, the mall) so you won't be able to walk around in your swimming suits or bath gowns breakfast (350hkd) was horrible, tho staffs were nice the view from the restaurant used to be better but now all i see are cranes fitness is well equipped with weight lifting machines and cardio (1 rowing machine, few treadmills) and a fitness mirror called Kara room condition was as always, great the amenities (shampoo bath gel and etc) used to be from bliss, but they changed to some italian vegan brand and they still work well except for the scent location wise, its 5/5 the hotel connects to the mall, elements; which is also connected to kowloon station and has a mini bus terminal so it's super convenient to get to hk island / tst / kowloon 10 minutes walk to west kowloon art / cultural park 15 minutes walk to jordan and tsim sha tsui it's still a great hotel, but i don't think it's worth 3-4000+ hkd per night

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Highly recommend staying here not only because of their amazing service and beauty of the property (modern and chic) but also because of its location. Hotel is located in West Kowloon and is in the same complex as the ELEMENTS shopping mall. The property can easily be accessed from HKG via the Airport Express train (take the Kowloon stop; ~25 minutes from HKG), the Tung Chung Line (Tung Chung to Hong Kong train) and the High Speed Rail. Kowloon, Hong Kong and also Hong Kong Disneyland are easily accessible. Not enough good things can be said about this place! Every single employee here was amazing. All were warm, welcoming, approachable, engaging and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Alex for his personable engagement; he truly cares about the guest experience. Did spend most of the day out of the hotel but the property has some great dining options and an amazing rooftop deck pool. Was a great place to come back to and relax. Zero complaints (only compliments) about the property. For sure earning their 5 stars here. Photos included are of the "Fabulous" Room.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room is well designed with automatic curtains and grand bathroom. The ocean view is beautiful. The location is very convenient directly connected to the elements shopping mall, sky100, AirPort Express train station, West Kowloon high speed train station and metro station.

Went there for company event. I found the food was nice, although a couple of dishes tasted a bit plain, especially the sweet soup at the end was like too much milk but not enough other ingredients. Service seemed fine apart from asking for a glass of orange juice towards the end of the event, and I waited for quite a while. Other than that, staff were polite and nice. However, one thing I found the worst was their sound system and equipment. It went off with horrible noise.

Everything about our stay at the W Hong Kong was EXCELLENT. The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The hotel porter immediately helped us with our bags, and the front desk staff performing check-in was very professional and courteous. Elite status was acknowledge, and the benefits explained thoroughly. We received an upgrade to the Marvelous Suite Oceanfront Corner Room, and it was amazing! Very spacious with its separate living, dining, and bedrooms and it even had 1.5 bathrooms. The view of the harbor and Hong Kong skyline in the distance was incredible. The amenities were upscale - Momo by Davines toiletries, Dyson hair dryer. Automatic blinds, touch panel control for lights, lots of plugs/outlets available. One critic I have, however, is that the furniture in the living area didn't feel as luxurious as the expected from the W Hotels brand - it was rather worn and felt cheap. But overall, still a fantastic suite. The best part is that we received a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate my wife's achievement of Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Gold Elite status. Lastly, the location of this hotel is excellent and is connected to a large, upscale mall. I would highly recommend the W Hong Kong to travelers looking for a sophisticated upscale hotel. I would stay here again.

An escape in the metropolis of HKG! The W Hong Kong is one of the best W properties I have stayed at. The pool on the 28th floor is just incredible and you feel you are at an escape property in the middle of the city! Rene for the W experience team could not have done enough to make the stay memorable. Highly recommended and we will be back!

The receptionist is very cold without any smiling, No customer service at all and the conversation with me showed that they did not have professional training before. Room is cozy and well designed and I have no complain. Next morning we went to have the brunch buffet, food was mediocre, the indian food was the worst that I have had in HK. Definitely not worth the price.

A beautiful W Hotel on top of the Kowloon’s transportation hub, the Kowloon Station and directly connected to Elements Mall. It has an outdoor pool on Level 76, tallest in Hong Kong and the rooms are functional without either views of the ocean or city. As a Titanium Bonvoy member, I was recognised on check-in and took the breakfast welcome gift which was excellent! Owned by Sun Hung Kai as part of the mixed use development, it is conveniently located and well appointed. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Loved our stay at the W Hong Kong. We stayed the first week of December 2023- visiting from the United States. As a Bonvoy titanium member, they upgraded my standard room to a marvelous suite. Titanium and platinum members also receive free breakfast as part of their benefits. The breakfast was hands-down, the best we’ve had at any hotel, tons of Asian, and western options. As a titanium member, I also received two free drink, vouchers for the amazing bar at the hotel. We loved our suite , and are very grateful that they provided us with a free bottle of wine and dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday birthday. The hotel is super easy to find in the elements shopping mall. It’s also just a short walk from the MTR station that connects to the airport. Using the MTR to get to the airport in the morning was super easy, it only took us 25 minutes door-to-door. We loved the location of the hotel, it’s very close to a park, and since it sits, basically on top of the subway station, it’s very easy to get around. The check-in staff and the management were all over the top Nice and very helpful.

Still the best hotel in Hong Kong / Kowloon. Ideally located in the Elements shopping mall, adjacent to the ICC Business Center and a 3 minute walk from the airport express and MTR. Rooms are very spacious, the breakfast buffet is amazing and offers lots of choice, the Gym is well equipped with machines, bikes and treadmills (even a rowing machine) and the overall service is really good. I also like the Business Center although the screens should be larger and should be connected via HDMI, so it can be used to extend my laptop screen. Very good hotel for business travellers and families alike.,

Currently in the middle of 7-days quarantine here and highly recommend W! Food is amazing with 3-courses for lunch and dinner phone (Whatever/Whenever) is picked up very quickly, each room has a air purifier, bottled water, welcome gift… It’s been more like a staycation!

Nice hotel, nice rooms, great swimming pool. Only negative is the breakfast - food was nice, but you have to book a breakfast slot - bookings open at 3pm for the next day and by 6pm they were all full. We were also given contradictory information on when breakfast ended.

An absolutely flawless experience. The hospitality manager was superb, keen to help in any way he could and went well beyond any expectations I might have. The staff were highly efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were immaculate, and every detail was perfect. The facilities were excellent. The room design was superb, the furnishing modern and to an excellent standard. And the view was absolutely stunning across all of Victoria harbour to the islands beyond. This is an absolutely essential stop when in Hong Kong. I really can't recommend it highly enough.

If you are looking for a 5 star dining experience, please avoid W hotel. My wife and I booked in advance for 2 pax at the Kitchen for 25 Nov 2022 (weekday). When arrived at about 12.10pm, we were ushered to the main dining hall that was located near the main walkway. My wife asked the service staff whether we could sit beside the window but was told that it was fully booked in advance by other customers. The buffet restaurant was only 10% full. When I later asked the service staff to change to another table, I was told to wait as they had to check with the front desk first before making the change. To me, this is the first time especially when the buffet restaurant was not running a full house. About 4 minutes later, we were assigned to another table that was located beside the service staff working area. The gap between my chair and the one behind me is about 60cm. (Pls see the photos). While having my meal, I had to endure the unpleasant experience when the service staff walked between the 2 chairs and accidentally brushed against my chair several times. Yes, I again asked for a table change. The reply again was standard and was told that they had to check with the front desk. About 4 minutes later, the service staff then came back to inform us to change to another table. I rejected their offer as we felt they were not interested in resolving our concerns. The buffet restaurant was empty when we were ushered in. All sections had many empty tables, so it was easy for the service staff to assign the table without delays. Even after being ushered to another table, we could see many empty tables with no reserved signs. As for the lunch buffet spread and quality, my rating is just average.

We have planned our travel to HK during the peak of the pandemic here, so our travelling plans were rocky at best. Luckily W was one of the hotel's available to book our quarantine, and have been nothing but stellar. We had 5 flight cancelled or rescheduled. While other places overcharged for rooms fractions of the size and provided no support for rebooking, W customer service has been spectacular. They responded fast and have been very accommodating with rescheduling. On arrival the room was spacious, with large windows and enough space to set up two PCs. They have a very handy concierge app where you can chat and leave requests for extra drinks, food, bags, amenities, cables etc. When we had trouble with luggage they were there to help immediately. Portions of food have been huge with a good amount of variety of Chinese, veggie and international dishes, although quality could be hit and miss sometimes. Regardless we had access to deliveroo here, so even if we chose to skip one of the planned meal we could order from anywhere nearby and staff would bring it up. Overall high recommend W Hotel for your stay in quarantine. If these days pass over and you read this when quarantine is a relic of the past, I recommend staying here regardless for at least 4-5 days to get over jetlag in peace :)

14 days quarantine may be a challenge for everybody. I was happy to be busy with work, so it was bearable. I imagine people who just have TV, music, or books to read, so this time is certainly more difficult for them. However, even though I have had my occupation, I am sure that I would also have had some bad time in another hotel than W. This hotel is, in my eyes, the best that can happen to you, when you must undergo compulsory quarantine. Yes, it is expensive but worth it. You should offer yourself a five-star quarantine in this hotel if you can afford it. Your mental and physical health will appreciate it. I needed a stable Internet connection, and I was more than happy that they offered a LAN as well as a Wi-Fi connection. They prepared a LAN cable for me and a power adapter for different plug standards. There was a very comfortable office chair and a table with the right height for working all day on your laptop. I remember having stayed in other five-star hotels where they only offered a normal chair and after one hour of working, you were suffering from back and wrist pain! There is a TV with a large screen and besides, you have another screen that you can use to connect your material if needed. What the food is concerned, you have the choice between Asian Cuisine, International Cuisine and Vegetarian. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. You also have a Nespresso coffee machine and a water kettle in the room. Coffee capsules, sugar, tea bags, creamer, and bottled water that you can re-order every day. If you have special requests or any problem with food, etc. you can send them an email and they will do their utmost to help. If it was not for quarantine, I would have loved to stay a little longer in this comfortable room and positive atmosphere, but I am happy to have made it. I wish all readers good luck and courage.

Completed a 7 day and later on a 3 day quarantine at W Hong Kong. It has been an almost flawless experience with efficient check-in and out. Clean rooms with good quarantine related amenities and a three option (Chinese/International/Vegetarian) menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was overall good quality, rather tasty and almost always a huge portion. Service is quick - deliveries come to the room within a few minutes and chat replies on the Bonvoy app are nearly instant. The downside is that the hotel used to be quite hip, modern and stylish. But that has worn out a fair bit with stains on carpets, cracks and fading color. They probably spent a fair bit on touching up here and there but you can feel that it needs a bigger renovation in the next 5 years. Hint: spend the money for a full west facing harbour view room. It has the nicest unblocked sunset views of almost any hotel in HK.

I stayed at the W Hong Kong for a 7-day mandatory quarantine in July 2022. The views of the harbour and room size was excellent. I worked throughout my quarantine and the desk and chair was comfortable. The bed and sheets were super comfy and the shower had great pressure. The staff fixed the problem with cold water quickly within the same hour I reported the issue. I ordered complimentary hot oat milk to have with then espresso coffee in the room which was a big bonus. I rented a treadmill for $2k and it was already in my room when I checked in. The Room had nice toiletries, washing up liquid and laundry detergent. Upon checking out I was pleased to receive bliss spa and pool day passes which was a nice touch. My only major concern with the room was the at it had clearly not been hoovered (blonde hair on the carpet floor everywhere and I am not blond). 🤢 Gave this review only 3 stars because for $24k per week the food was average. I’m a vegetarian and the options are mainly Asian (but meat eaters get two options per meal of western and Asian) and included high portions of carbs, lots of pasta and rice meals which were poorly seasoned. I also have food allergies and for the first two days my allergies were disregarded (which I informed them of by email and phone in advance and upon check in). Once I raised my concerns about excess carbs and not enough veggies they were happy to change my meals to more salads and veggie based options. Fruit pots were varied, fresh and delicious. The Indian food was much better than the Chinese options due to lack of seasoning.

Check-In/Out was very efficient and friendly at the same time. Any questions were answered very clearly. The room was nice with enough space and a pleasant view. An additional small table could have useful and the sliding door in the bathroom is a nice design, but practically I think a different design would have been better. Overall a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice and gorgeous hotel. This is definitely one of the better W hotels out there. Rooms are chic and staff were all very friendly. Thank you to Jeffrey from front desk for being so accommodating to my stay. And also Renee from the guest service team for fulfilling my special request. They both made my stay a much better one.

We had a pleasant journey in W hotel Hong Kong. Stayed one night in a harbour view room. The whole experience was beyond our expectations from the right start of checking in and out. The location is very convenient for us as we only transit in Hong Kong to and from the airport. The breakfast at level 6 was fabulous with a lot food options, service at W is second to none. All the staffs are friendly and helping. Especially Naba at the concierge gave us great impression.

We were spending our weekend as we stop by Hong Kong to a short visit. The room was fine, but surprisingly the bed sheets were not very clean. The rug have some stain as well. The decoration on the walls inside the room was a bit cheap and outdated. Had breakfast inside the hotel, it literally not enough staffs to service. Tables were not clean when other customers already left long ago. Waited for our breakfast and just basically our coffee to start with. They forgot about it. The breakfast didn't serve until nearly half an hour wait. The table we dine at were not clean as well as you can see from the attached photo.
