As expected of Shangri-la. Great service within a five star hotel. Goes out of their way to make guests comfortable and relaxed. The Horizon Club had great views and I loved their Hong Kong egg noodles in soup with shrimp wanton. Only issue is rooms getting a bit dated and bed mattress felt slightly worn out.

Wished to give my mom a great birthday experience by having tea in your hotel. The service was TERRIBLE from the very beginning. There was no greeting. The waitress was so rush to leave us. She just bring us to the seat and asked us what we would like to order immediately and knowing that we would like to order the tea set, she left. The whole process was so rush, which I believe under 30 sec. The only food was very disappointing honestly. We could not even swallow the one made with foie gras. The pastries were way too sweet that we couldn't finish them, 2/3 of each pastry was left on the plate at the end. Each time the waitresses came by pick up the plate and left just like robot, without a single word like excuse me, how's the food, do you need anything else... They were so rush to go as if they did not want to service us at all. We were paying the bill and not asking for anything, why were we so not welcoming. At the end, when we asked for the bill, we waited almost 10mins waving our hands and not a single waitress response to us. You can check the CCTV for your reference. It was so embarrassing to celebrate my mom's birthday in your lounge. The reason why I chose this hotel was that she had so many great memories in this place; however, it is a true disappointment this time.

Came here for a staycation for my mum's birthday and we received a warm welcome upon arrival with complimentary chocolate and champagne. Joe was really helpful and accommodating as we were able to have the lunch buffet on the day we checked in and he also managed to help us book a time slot for the swimming pool despite it being a public holiday. It was definitely a pleasant and memorable stay with fantastic views and the giant king size bed. Thank you so much!

PERFECT from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and courteous. My room was spectacular as it was harbour view suite, with a large living area, huge bedroom, complimentary decorations, cake and roses for my birthday! Upgrade to lounge access, you will not be disappointed, breakfast is delicious in the lounge and cocktail hour is a great way to end the day! Special thanks to Vivienne who made our stay extra special - we will be back!

Enjoy the hotel's invincible sea view overlooking of the Victoria Harbour. Afternoon tea, Cocktail and breakfast in the Horizon Club. Cocktails session is very satisfying and include a variety of house wines. As celebrate my birthday, the hotel arranged a birthday cake and some decoration for celebrating. There is also a fruit platter and hot tea served in the room, which is very suitable for me to relax. Due to the festival, children can enjoy a variety of workshops for free. The workshops have their own characteristics, including a Cocktail workshop, where children can try homemade Cocktail, and crystal ball workshop. Children can make a snowman crystal ball and take it home. , I appreciate the workshop arranged by the hotel for children. In addition to some free workshops, there are also some paid children's activities, such as the escape room. The hotel built a maze room on one of the floors, and my son had a great time.

Although it was a long time since my last visit to the hotel, I was greeted and treated throughout my stay as if I lived there. Already exceptional service levels were even more elevated, and each staff member went out of his or her way to acknowledge me as a previous and valued guest. It was a great way to recover from a long and difficult business trip. It's a great hotel, and the Horizon Club is the best way to experience the wonderful service and attention the hotel offers.

Wonderful place. Immaculate. The breakfast buffet was one of the best in the world. Covid saw it trimmed down considerably. Hopefully it is back to normal.

Staffs are friendly. The room for a 5 star hotel is average. Nothing to complain about.

Loved everything about my stay at Kowloon Shangri-la. The staff is so friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. They had vegetarian options in their executive lounge and again the staff their were so efficient, kind and helpful. It was staycation to celebrate a special day and the service at Shangri-la really made it the one to remember. Thank you I will definitely come back.

We had family dinner to celebrate my mum’s birthday at the Chinese restaurant in your hotel last weekend. Delicious as always. On our way out, my mum wanted a family pic at the lobby. She was so desperate to have everyone in the pic that she went straight to the concierge to ask one of your staff (a lady whose name I forgot) help take the pic. We knew it wasn’t appropriate and the ask was far beyond the staff’s BAU duties. The lady politely obliged to my mum’s request and helped take a couple of pics which all turned out beautiful. I was so impressed and would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to your staff. It made my mum’s day.

On Feb 4, 2023, as parents of a happy couple, my wife and I came to this 5-star hotel again. I love the hotel chain and have been one of its shareholders. I reckon the reason why its shares are sought after.

Just outside of tst east mtr, walking distance to tst station thru the underpass. Hotel is luxurious, room is great. Offers a great selection of tea and nespresso. There is a volume switch in the toilet to play the audio of whatever that was showing on the tv, which is great if you don't wish to miss out on hearing the show you are playing or to cover up toilet noise if you are staying with friends. Housekeeping was also thoughtful enough to tidy up our mess at the vanity area. Do remember to snap a photo of the giant panda when you are there

I had a wedding banquet at 26 June, I have some bad experience on our big day. The overall is smooth but some of our guests told me they didn't serve fried rice at all and although we did prepare white wine to serve but the server told the guest no white wine available, that leaving lots of white wine after banquet. The manager even told me not many guest drink wine during the lunch banquet (I didn't know the truth until our guest told me after couple of days later) A server even pour some soy source to my guest shoes, although hotel wash it for her but the soy source stain cannot be removed entirely and only compensate 1 white & 1 red wine in which around HK$ 100 each (of course their cost for the 2 wines is much cheaper). Although the experience of the wedding banquet is not satisfied, the environment is good and most of the staff is pleasant and polite.

A fantastic stay , location, service and food are all very good , the staffs from Horizon Club are super attentive, big thanks to Max , buddy , Hebe, Kit etc for their exceptional services. Will come back again .

I had lunch in this hotel . It is a great place , very elegant. Impeccable service and food . I came here a few years ago and I loved my experience just as much as this time . There was a Christmas atmosphere.

Definitely the best hotel I have stayed in Hong Kong. The harbour view is so awesome! The room is always so well cleaned. Appreciate the wine and chocolates for our anniversary. The room attendant even replenish the fruit platter daily. A set of traditional tea set with their signature tea is also given. The room is so spacious with an awesome bathtub and shower area, laid in beautiful and luxurious marble tiles. There is a safe, fridge, kettle and even a coffee making machine in the room. The staff from room attendant, bell boy, receptionist and every one we came across are so accommodating and polite. The location is superb as it's next to a MRT station. There is wellcome (convenient store), a pharmacy just near by. Cross over the bridge to access avenue of stars. The ferry terminal to take a ferry to central is just less than 10 mins walk away. The only bad experience was with Cafe Kool. You can read this in my review of Cafe Kool separately. It completely ruined my last night stay in this awesome hotel.

Hotel location is convenient, rooms are comfortable, and every time I visit the Club Lounge, I see each staff member, including Max, Heidi, Buddy, and a few others whose names I suddenly forgot 🫣. They make me feel like we are old friends with their warm and friendly greetings. Their kind smiles add to the overall sense of familiarity and warmth.

Last night teppanyaki for six persons was the negative experience in terms of quality, value ($1500 per person), menu choices and services. More importantly the chef was dead quiet throughout the whole dining period without any introduction of the dishes. Besides seemingly introverted, he was not up to the skills in serving the only teppanyaki customers last night. Unfortunately this ruined our past experiences with Nadaman Kowloon over past decade. Hoping that this could be improved especially during the difficult time of limited diners looking for fine dining in HKSAR.

Harbour view room was great. We have adjacent rooms. Room are spacious. Location is good. Very convenient. Pool is small. The buffer breakfast was average. Nothing special.

Everything was great until I checked out. I was waiting in lobby for my friends and soon enough a staff member came to tell me that the sofa I was sitting on was actually a restaurant and I have to order a drink. I was directed to an area “next to the pool” where there are literally 3 small tables and 6 chairs. Are you serious? This is the waiting area for a hotel this size?!

The rooms and staff is wonderful!!!! I love the fact, during dinner buffet, the staff speak good English and help you choose your food. It is a beautiful hotel by far. You will sleep good and have wonderful dreams

I was very disappointed with one of the reception staff, I believe his name was Calvin who assisted me when I was checking in. He did not only have a unfriendly attitude but he was not helpful when my card got declined while paying. The card I used never ever got declined but while paying for the hotel it did, the problem was he did not even try to use other methods to help me out instead he told me where the ATM machine was to get cash out. (which means I had to walk back to the mtr and try to find a atm machine) The problem was he was rushing with my check in process because someone he knew was also trying to check in behind me. I did not get this process because the other receptionists were all vacant. He could have asked his colleagues to help the other customers or even called someone else to help me out. I do not know the reasoning why I was treated this way. I believe it was due to age discrimination since I was much younger than the other customers. The price I pay for this so called “five star” hotel and the service I received was outrageous. I have lived in other hotels with cheaper and better service in hk. I would surely be NOT coming here again.

I am a member of Golden Circle which is Shangri-la loyalty membership. I am a bit surprised that after I get a table for a while, there has a captain came over and said, she reviewed my loyalty profile and find that I have kind of food allergic, and asked if they have to pay any attention on it, which I was not expected, this is really lovely and well care of their members! Fantastic!! The food is excellent, environment is clean. My wife and I enjoyed the lunch so much. Will definitely visit there again. Well done!

Fantastic property in line with the brand globally. Club lounge has a wonderful view of the harbor and HK Island. They make a mean margarita too ;)

We were amazed by this hotel. Vivienne who checked us in was the highlight. She saw we had kids and upgraded our room, provided a roll out bed for free, arranged for loads of kids treats and booked us in to the pool (small but great for a dip after walking round tst). The room and bed were huge, the bathroom is great and do not miss breakfast! All for $1200. Thank you Vivienne!

It was very busy but worked well The potato dosa were a delight as was the chef who made and brought it to our table

We ordered lamb chop, seabass fillet and salmon steak tonight. The lamb was cooked perfectly as requested (medium rare). Seabass was too dry & not as fresh. Salmon was ok. Mashed potato ok.

Had afternoon tea with my mum, everything is tasty. Love the quiet environment. We requested a window seat at the corner which gave us good privacy :) the staff is very helpful and polite. Excellent customer service.

I love this hotel! But unfortunately, my last experience was not so great. I wanted to take my friend somewhere extra special and I was slightly disappointed with the room ( for what I paid) also we were rudely woken up by the next door with loud games playing from 2 am-3 am. The hotel did sort out another room for us to sleep in temporarily, but at the time I was so disappointed. Overall I still love this hotel for its class

So this Shangri-La obviously has a slightly dated exterior, and certainly isn’t one of the flashiest looking hotels in Hong Kong. However, they more than make up for this with outstanding service. We were really pleased with how friendly, helpful and quick the staff were. The room we had was very spacious. Tv channels available are quite sparse, and I felt like their kids’ food options a bit strange, but these are pretty minor complaints.

i have recently held my wedding banquet in Kowloon Shangri-La. The service has been fantastic and every staff, be receptionist, event sales, housekeeping, waiters… everyone is so caring and sensitive to details. The view from the room is simply amazing. Definitely worth the stay and no regret is hosting the banquet in KSL

Transiting through hk for 2 nights and booked the harbour view room. The room is big among other similar price hotels in hk. The big window offers stunning view of central skylines and the harbour. The room however smells wet, the facility is a bit old.

I had my secret wedding proposal to my fiancé at Kowloon Shangri-La and the experience is amazing. All staff are super helpful and professional. They kept the surprise secret when my fiancé check in first and provided extra room key for me. They also prepared champagne and cake for our successful proposal! The room is spacious and service is Excellent. Thank you Kowloon Shangri-La!

The service was good but the disappointment comes with the Italian food. When the soup of the day - the pumpkin soup was served, it was surprised that we could barely taste any pumpkin out of the yellowish gluey soup but the prominent sweetness from the seasoning. Subsequently, I tried the pork chop main course which was smooth but too salty to be perfect. The weekend lunch experience was complimented by the dessert and the mocha presented at the end. Hope my sharing would give an insight to those who are interested to pay a visit and would assist in maintaining the reputation of such a renowned transitional 5 star hotel in town.

Food is great! Service is terrific! The managers are very accommodating.

Shangri-la environment is a guarantee, good, smell good. Comfort, watching sea view. Listening water flow. Good place for relaxation.
