Really disappointed with this hotel, 5-stars wannabe, they are maximum 3 stars for the services that they provide. Really unfriendly and rude staff, waiting a lot to check in because you need to complete a lot of unnecessary forms (that they already have the data) and you can't even sit. They don't even speak English, gym+pool are small and whatever and a lot of rules. I would say only the housekeeping is responsive and ok. Never again, totally don't recommend, not worth the money, way better options in better location.

Many positive comments were found in terms of the attentive service and cleanliness room. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ Unfortunately, I encountered the different experience that the room wasn't well-dusted. On top of that, HSKP staff (evening shift) were unfriendly as well. It probably they don't want the guests ordered amenities. Royal Garden Hotel may not be my priority for next visit.

Had a 2 night staycation for Chinese new year. It is worth advising that if you can spend a little extra, it is much more value for money if you booked the sky tower room (full or side harbour view). Their rooms are on 16th to 19th floor, access via a separate lift. It's a whole new luxury world there. Quite often they sell their rooms at very cheap rates. My room is on 18th floor with full harbour view. Check in is done at the sky club on 12th floor. The room is spacious, with lovely modern elegant decor and up to date facilities. Bathroom has two washing basins, a nice bath tub, shower and toilet are separated. Excellent free wifi at steady speed. Huge Panasonic TV with all the channels (but not smart TV and can't mirror screen). Due to the pandemic, swimming pool and spa are shut. Lounge remains open until statutory closing time at 6pm. Breakfast and afternoon tea can be enjoyed at the club, evening cocktail is delivered to your room each night, a very thoughtful gesture. The Rpyal garden is one of the old faithful hotels in that neighborhood, although it's aged but very well maintained. The only gripe I have is the 11 am check out time! Due to the holiday peak period they absolutely can't grant late checkout, a bit disappointing but understandable.

Why yes I did stay here Lovely rooms. The bathrooms were very well done, except for the lack of bidets. Breakfast in the main restaurant at the atrium was overrated - food is great but little variety. But the interiors were awesome trust me. Location is also great. Did early morning jogs along the Avenue of the Stars which was only a few meters away I'll be back thats for sure

An absolutely disastrious and horrific customer service experience. The checkin counter was slow and their employee Yukie (sad sad lady) was downright insulting and disgustingly rude. Worst stay at any hotel since the pandemic. With the tourism at a standstill I really suggest the hotel to invest more on employee training and recruitment. Definitely will not ever come back and I suggest people think twice before booking here. Plenty of hotels of better quality in the area without the extra attitude and stupidly early checkout time.

Once a month staycation, this time I chose the old five-star Royal Garden Hotel located in East Tsim Sha Tsui. There was a time when the Royal Garden was a noble hotel, it was said in 1977, but since more different five-star hotels were established in recent decades, it has gradually become an established hotel. This time, I enjoyed the Club Lounge of the hotel. The Club Lounge has a special English afternoon tea. Although the food is relatively ordinary, the environment is also acceptable. By the cocktail time in the evening, because of the covid 19 regulations , no buffet allowed but we still enjoy with sparkling wine, white wine, red wine and other choices. The buffet breakfast is very rich on the 3rd floor. The atrium looks at the specially designed interior decoration of the hotel, which has a unique flavor. I prefer their elevator elevator, which can look out into the whole hotel interior design. This time I came to the fitness room, and it just reopened. Although there is no sea view, there is no beautiful scenery, but we have not been to the fitness room for a long time. We are also very satisfied. Over all the appearance and decoration are also older, it does not lose the level of a five-star hotel.

The hotel has a rooftop pool, you can take a look around the Victory Harbor as well. The room is quite small but convenient, well equipment. The location is good, you can walk around and has many rest...

Staff are friendly and willing to help! Pre-dinner appetisers (1800-2015) have desserts and skewers which are in good proportion. Premium room has reasonable sea views though the room is a bit dusty. Breakfast buffet (0700-1030)does not have too many choices but is still enough.

Glad to have secured a themed room in Royal Garden’s collaboration with a local artist. Superb and welcoming service and food, clean and neat room.

Excellent service. We are staying at the Deluxe room, but feels like VIP. Very clean and spacious. Washroom has rain shower. Only thing lighting is very dim for doing hair and makeup, but I’m so happy with the service and won’t deduct marks because of this. Highly recommend.

Overall the room condition was really poor. I could not lean against the wall when I was in bed. The fabric wall was full of moe smell that I could not sleep for the whole night. Called the reception at half 3 at mid night, the lady at the front desk did not apologize, I suppose she was quite used to client's calls at the time/regarding these issues. The room was not clean when I entered. water splashes in the basin. This is such a bad experience in a 5 star hotel.

Royal Garden is a five star hotel located in Kowloon not far from the Tsim Sha Tsui Pier. The accommodation was very good. We stayed at a a junior suite with a nice river view. The room offered us enough space and was in good quality and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially senior duty manager Jason Fung is very dedicated to his job and offered us an outstanding service. When coming back to HK again we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

A pleasant stay, nice hotel with a beautiful restaurant right in the middle of the building. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is super convenient, close to many restaurants and shops, very easy to go anywhere by mtr, bus, ferry or taxi. The evening animations in the restaurant can sometimes be noisy, but they finish quite early so it's not much of an inconvenience. Very happy with my stay, recommended!

The most wonderful service and experience! We stayed to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Every moment and every person were amazing, and I cannot praise the hotel enough. The staff are all so kind, from Christina who helped to arrange everything, to Jenny the General Manager and May the Hotel Manager, as well as Theresa and the team at the lounge. We cannot wait to stay again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone. Thank you from Nalina & Daniel.

Met the T8 typhoon the next day we arrived so stayed in the hotel whole day. Room service food was surprisingly good though. And fast service, around 15-20 mins the food will be delivered. We were lucky to be given a room with the Harbour view. The restaurants downstairs also with good quality. Tried the Vietnamese restaurant, tasty. The pastry shop downstairs is very convenient for the purchase of 蝴蝶酥, with 15% discount upon showing them the room card. Recommended.

The service at the front desk was always brisk and rushed. I felt as though they didn't treat me as a guest. The soundproofing of the room wasn't effective (even from the 10th floor) as I heard daily evening noise and music from the hotel's buffet restaurant. The hotel is in a great, central location.

Overall rating for the hotel and it's staff and services was superb. Only that be careful when riding a taxi either from the hotel or elsewhere because some drivers will add unjustly extra dollars for your baggages and always checked the change 'coz some they gave other currency like for us we were given taiwanese instead of hongkong money. Anyhow, our vacation in Hongkong was great.

Spacious room, clean and quiet. Many restaurants and coffee shop near by. Great Chinese, Japanese and Italian restaurants inside the hotel. A few mins to TST East MTR station. The lifts are quite difficult, narrow and some of lifts only go to the restaurant levels and not to group level from the rooms.

Was dining at the Chinese restaurant without any windows/view. 5 star hotel price, expensive but food so so. Inadequate staff to serve the table. Not refilling the tea pots until you asked several times.

Great location, plenty of restaurants and close to Ave of the Stars so you can go walking anytime you wish and precisely the reason why you'd want to go back to this hotel next time you visit. But yeah, no bidet.

The basement of the Royal Garden Hotel in TST East has two of the best restaurants in Hong Kong: Dong Lai Shun and the Chinese Restaurant. The cuisine is first class, with the decor, ambience and staff making any visit both memorable and enjoyable! Try them . . .

Our room Sky Harbour Suite was wonderful and comfortable with such amazing Victoria Harbour view! Staff were all very professional and polite especially Nora - they all definitely made a difference to our stay when comparing to other staycation. Food was delicious too! Can't stop thinking about our room and will surely go back very soon! Highly recommended!!

Disastrous experience. Booked a night’s stay at Royal Garden Hotel and the check in time was supposed to be 3pm. The package also included a late lunch buffet scheduled at 3pm - 530 pm. I arrived at the hotel at 3pm for check in only to find this long queue. It is now 4pm. I am still in line waiting for check in and I haven’t had lunch yet. I feel deprived of what I paid for and I have never been to a hotel where I had to stand and wait over an hour with my luggage. Terrible arrangements on the part of the hotel and extremely inefficient front desk staff. This will be my first and last visit here.

Never like buffet but Greenery has changed my mindset!! The encountering with chefs along the buffet line and the attending services from the 'ah yee' in the restaurant made a big difference on a buffet experience.

Low room rate gets standard room. Professional receptionists service during check in/out. Polite bell men always greet n open door. Nice designed cafe in the middle of the building. Breakfast was fine. Gym is well equipped, not big n good to see a bit of beautiful Roma design garden n roof top when doing exercises. Pool is beautiful. However, a really bad arrangement for using it. Guests need to spend efforts n time to queue up for a ticket 30mins before. N get disappointment when it’s full so soon. It’s really frustrating! Bad idea! Please change to a booking system. Good quality cake shop at the lobby. Got discount if u stay in the hotel. Nearby restaurants, shopping n museums around. Overall, it’s a small busy staycation to us.

Fabulous experience at the hotel. Booked a junior suite and was upgraded at check in without even asking! Huge room, really nice design and decor. Lounge access was amazing. Food and drink all day and then a 3hr free flow in the evening too, food was never the same and delicious. Staff were simply superb, a special mention to Cherry and the rest of the crown lounge staff who were absolutely wonderful, they especially seemed to like the flower in my wife's hair! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a classy, relatively inexpensive staycation. P.S. pool is incredible too!

I booked this hotel via agoda.com for a few days. After arriving to the hotel after midnight, I learned that I cannot check in. Searching for new accommodation for a few hours in middle is interesting experience if you like adventure. Otherwise, avoid this hotel, there are many hotels around.

This is my second stay at the Royal Garden, and my only complaint from my first visit a few years ago - that you got tricked into drinking the expensive mini bar water - no longer applies! In fact they have continued to improve. The hotel continues to have an old-school glamour feel, with many restaurants, an impressive layout, and good room size. The bar offers several non alcoholic options which are served with care, and the restaurants have a good range of vegetarian options. The pool is lovely and the restricted access due to COVID was handled well, with us being able to visit each day for an hour. Staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit! Thanks 😊

This yes about the Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant, at the basement floor in the hotel. I sampled the dim sum menu, all were at good standard in both presentation and taste, though not exceptional, and they were not expensive as a hotel run outlet. Good architect & the outdoor theme decor makes the visitor feel less being in the basement. I have 4 ⭐ because I couple dim sum were not really great - but not bad at all. Will go there a again!
