My
stay:
20th-27th
July
2022
(7
days
government-mandated
quarantine)
Room
type:
Superior
room
(20
sqm)
TLDR:
Excellent
stay,
more
costly
option,
but
worth
every
penny.
I
will
come
back
to
this
option
if
my
budget
allows.
Pros:
1.
I
enjoyed
a
quiet
stay
(soundproof
was
excellent).
I
did
not
hear
anything
from
my
neighbour
except
a
few
knocks
by
the
neighbour's
accidental
hitting
of
the
wall.
2.
Food
from
the
delivery
was
sent
to
the
room
promptly,
usually
within
15
minutes.
3.
The
front
desk
who
answered
my
calls
was
always
very
polite
and
friendly
(which
is
rare
considering
HK
is
notorious
for
being
rude
on
many
occasions).
4.
The
food
was
palatable,
and
you
could
select
your
preferred
cuisine
from
a
list
they
provide
as
you
book
the
hotel.
5.
The
design
of
the
hotel
room,
the
toilet,
and
the
ambient
is
undoubtedly
a
four
or
five-star
hotel
experience.
6.
They
are
very
environmental-friendly.
They
provide
a
set
of
metallic
utensils,
gloves,
and
dishwashing
liquid
to
help
reduce
the
plastic
waste
that
most
quarantine
hotels
generate.
Very
thoughtful
on
this.
7.
I
enjoyed
the
surprise
of
a
coconut
tart
in
one
of
the
teatime
placed
on
my
doorstep.
(This
was
not
charged,
and
I
guess
surprise
like
this
does
add
positively
to
the
lonely
quarantine
experience).
8.
You
enjoy
Wifi
speed
at
about
80-100
Mbps,
and
a
router
is
installed
in
every
room.
Cons:
1.
Yoga
mat
was
only
available
through
purchasing
a
bundle
set
(HKD
380,
it
comes
with
weights).
Coming
to
HK
from
overseas,
my
luggage
is
naturally
fully
packed.
I
would
not
want
to
add
any
additional
"unnecessary"
weight
to
my
luggage,
and
I
think
discarding
this
set
for
a
mere
7
days
of
use
was
not
environmental
friendly
at
all.
2.
The
aircon's
fan
speed
at
"High"
was
still
relatively
weak,
in
my
opinion.
However,
this
would
present
a
quiet
aircon
system
for
others.
3.
The
food
portion
tend
to
be
small,
and
I
will
order
delivery
to
compensate
for
the
insatiety.
4.
At
times
(usually
in
the
morning),
the
attendant
who
leaves
food
at
my
doorstep
will
knock
hastily
and
repeatedly
on
the
door
in
a
very
angry,
annoyed,
sudden,
and
loud
tone.
It
was
extremely
disturbing
and
very
unpleasant.
5.
The
working
space
is
limited.
I
was
confined
to
work
at
the
small
"desk"
below
the
TV
(extending
about
30cm
from
the
wall),
which
was
very
inconvenient.
6.
The
chair
at
this
working
space
has
no
backrest.
It
has
caused
quite
some
back
discomfort
after
a
week
of
quarantine,
having
to
WFH.
