Stay at iclub in Dec 18 since it's near my friend's house at Sheung Wan. I had a very comfortable stay here! Room was clean & larger than most hotel rooms in HK. The price was cheaper than some of the hotels at Kowloon. Bathroom was very clean too! Bed is very comfortable, there isnt any unpleasant scent in the room & there's a long mirror which most girls love! Hotel staff was really warm & polite. Hotel location is awesome. There are so many eateries around.. cafes, restaurants, market, supermarket & hawker centre. You will find lots of dried seafood shops around. It is not far away from Li Yuen East & West where u will find seasonal items, clothings, bags, accessories shops etc. Iclub would definitely be my 1st choice of stay if I'm heading to Sheung Wan again!

Poor service I was there for 2 weeks and the receptionists except one person was very rude. They didn't even look st us when we ask something. We were not at all comfortable there during our stay. Cleaning staffs were good. Compared to other hotels near by, prices are high and not much facilities are there as they claim in the offers. Poor internet speed !

Well the service is unbelievably poor. Price is just too high for the service. All the staffs (including receptionists, housekeeping, and the doorman) are just…unprofessional to say the least. Fridge in my room doesn’t work, and they say “it’s just like this”. They promised 1 set of laundry token for each guest every week, but it’s been 3 weeks since I was able to get mine - every time I go and claim my tokens, they just say there aren’t any left. (Plus there are only 2 laundry machines so they’re almost always occupied.) Breakfast is only bread and nothing else. One of the two coffee machines is always out of service. And the common kitchen is just…well, I’ve been there once and I just don’t want to go there again. About the room…The bed is kinda narrow so sometimes I fall off the bed in sleep (like crazy). Curtains are dirty and looks like they never get cleaned. The cleaning staffs sometimes don’t take out the trash as they promised, or don’t provide a new garbage bag after they take out the old one. It’s just weird. Also there’s no rack in the washroom to place the toiletries, and they also don’t provide any shampoo or body wash - so I had to get a basket and hook it on the wall just to put my shampoo and stuff there. Also there is a public toilet right next to the hotel…So the smell at the entrance is, well, not very pleasant. That’s it for now, and I guess I’ll post more as I live here longer…

Encountered multiple health hazards when staying here. In total, I stayed for 6 nights and encountered issues almost each night: 1. The first night, the toilet water was completely brown - it would only refill with brown water. 2. The second night, the toilet broke and refused to flush. At this point, the hotel staff was able to move me to a different room. 3. The third day, one of the two hotel elevators stopped working for the day (keep in mind that the building serves 40+ floors). 4. The fifth night, my room smelled like smoke throughout the entire night. Hotel staff tried to spray down the smell but it did not help. After airing out my room the next day, I was finally able to get rid of the smoke. The hotel staff then told me that they found cigarettes in one of the neighboring rooms, but they did not know the exact room (it sounded like it was not recorded down?). 5. The sixth night, my room began to smell like smoke again. Hotel staff tried to spray down the smell again but it did not help. Again, hotel staff did not know the exact room that was smoking the previous night. As a result, they could not tell the smoker to stop since they did not want to wake up other people sleeping. It is also unclear why this did not set off any alarms/sensors. Again, I switched to a new (third) room. The # of issues encountered was completely unacceptable, especially when factoring the MAJOR health hazard of sleeping in a smoke filled room. Hotel did not provide any compensation for all the issues.

Everything is good except the lifts. Only 2 to service a 38 storey building. Extremely slow in the mornings. Free breakfast in the lobby is a nice touch but nothing special. Good views from high up

Provided feedback on the survey but didn’t get any response. The room itself is cleaner than the fortress hill one and staff are nice. However, the drain is blocked or going so slowly even we shut the door properly. Therefore, after shower the bathroom floor was very wet. We only stayed for one day so didn’t report this issue that time. Like the location so may return next time.

Nice hotel with affordable price in Hongkong. The room is more spacious than another one. I was surprised. They offer light breakfast with coffee, tea, orange juice and some cakes. Good place.

Rooms are reasonably big. Had 1 Queen size bed and sofa bed. Sofa bed not comfortable. Reasonable breakfast. Friendly staff. Received welcome gift which was unexpected. Location was good with many restaurants and easy to move around. MTR nearby. Thank you.

Pre-COVID, I was a very frequent guest at this hotel, and in many ways would have recommended it for frequent travelers. They did consistently seem to value my loyalty. Even though it is effectively more expensive to do so, I have booked directly with their web site in order to reinforce that loyalty (through their 'Regal' program). So it was very disappointing to see that the level of attention to customer service seems to have dropped dramatically. And that is particularly critical at this hotel specifically, because unlike some others there is a huge difference in the quality of the rooms, within the same category, depending on which side of the building you are given and the floor. There can be an impressive, expansive view and relative privacy, or you can be staring directly across at a nearby apartment or a very unattractive rooftop metres away. And the staff dares to characterise the move to one of those unappealing rooms as an 'upgrade'. So, I definitely would not recommend this establishment unless you have assurances in advance that you won't be stuck with one of those undesirable rooms.

This is an awful place to stay with worse customer service. We made a booking for two weeks in this hotel based on the reviews, when we arrived we had issues in the room such as noises and water leaking in the toilet. The bed is absolutely uncomfortable with very old mattress so don't expect any good rest. Don't get me started on the breakfast. "everyday at Iclub Sheung Wan Hotel begins with a delicious in-house breakfast" this is their misleading statement. You will get toast bread, jam and butter (self service) that's it. We tried to negotiate to cancel or reduce the stay, but they refused. Don't waste your money in this place.

Guys please read the 1 star comments, there are reasons for these angry customers. The receptionists (whole team, 2 guys and 1 lady) are not helpful. The 2 guys are particularly rude and impolite. They don’t look at you when they talk to you. (I was surprised when I come here and check many customers reported the same issue yet the hotelier is not planning to fix it). Well when the hotel is not a 5 star one you don’t have any expectation right, but they can go lower than zero expectation, if you like being treated badly, this hotel won’t disappoint you.

Awful attitude and service. Better check out the room size in advance cuz even if ur paying the same price, they give out different types of room randomly. I complained abt this, all they say is too bad and just tell me to wait. Really really was disappointed with the front desk worker’s poor attitude, espec M.

I was very impressed by this hotel. Incredibly affordable but clean and spacious room. Check in was efficient, they provided me with a high floor room as I requested, shower is powerful & bed was firm. Very happy and will use hence forth for all work nights in town.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Check in took quite long. Room is okay for the price. The bed and pillows are comfortable. TV works but is not connected to internet so only TV channels. The bathroom was below expectations. There are 0 hooks for clothing or towels. Showerhead is broken and sprays water everywhere. The sink is old and the tap is loose and has been unprofessionally fixed with some putty, and looks disgusting. Free breakfast is nice but besides juice and small bread rolls don't expect much from it (but in HK it's always better to go to HK style breakfast anyway) Location is perfect near tram stop and bus stops. MTR is a bit further but still rather close.

Good value for money for this hotel, located a 5 min walk to the subway in Sheung Wan. It's clean and well maintained. The rooms are small but manageable. The beds however, are extremely hard - believe this and other reviews that say the same thing. They're not really standard beds at all. more like a thin hard foam mattress on a block of wood.

Room is clean. Took me 15 min to wait for a lift. Despite they have an official front door, they force you to take the side door at day time (which got a weird smell). They only open the front door at night time.

We kindly got upgraded to a better room because it was our honeymoon. We had a wonderful visit! Room was clean, good sized and had gorgeous views. Best part is the location of the hotel.

Hard to find two double beds in one room, but they have it!

I spent 4 nights in this hotel. Room is spacious by HK standard and clean. Staff here is friendly. I stayed in above 30 floor with partial sea view. It is a quiet at night but still accessible to most of the amenities. Was surprised with the complimentary breakfast that was provided daily, which was not made known during the booking. Will come back again to this hotel if it fits my next itinerary.

I gotta say I’m honestly surprised how nice this place is. The staff is very friendly, the location is pretty great with subway and ferries in walking distance, and the view I had from the 32nd floor was breathtaking, I could get used to waking up like this. The rooms where very clean and offered plenty of space to get some work done, I can’t comment on the breakfast though because I didn’t have any. Only four stars because the elevator situation is a bit of a pain, you got like 30-something floors and only two elevators, so prepare to wait in case you just quickly wanna get up or down. But if you can overlook that, you get a very convenient place for a decent price. Recommend!

I booked this hotel due to it being close to the ferry ports. It is a quick walk to catch the Macau ferry. It's a large hotel with high floors, so our views were great, but service was average (very transactional, not friendly), and the rooms are basically styled. They are quite spacious for HK standards though. Great water pressure from the shower. One complaint is that there are only two lifts, and there were many times the lifts would either skip floors if you were waiting, or just take a long time. It's a good location close to food options, although the staff advised my mum that there were no restaurants nearby which was strange.

That price with location. Cannot complain. Room is clean and decent.

The hotel is very neat and clean and the rooms are designed very efficiently. The rates are not much high and thus cater well for a long term stay or a business visit. The free breakfast is nothing much to expect just bread butter and coffee. I think it's perfect for one person to stay here.
