Overall not worth the money, but when thinking about the high rates of Hong Kong hotels, this might be a standard. The rooms are not soundproofed and the mainland Chinese tourists everywhere were so noisy that I couldn't sleep without noise-cancelling earbuds. Those Chinese smoke wherever and whenever the staff don't oversee, so my bathroom smelled of smoke every morning after the hours of the ventilation being turned off (because the vent and the light are switched together) probably because of the smoke coming through the neighboring vent. Also the Chinese tried to open my room's door even though they (probably) knew that that was NOT their room's door. So make sure to not forget to lock the door from inside, since it is somewhat forgettable because there's no chain lock other than a turn latch, which, on my door, missed several fixing bolts. Forced to wake up every morning at 6 (and never be able to sleep again because they stay noisy until they leave for the day at around 7) by loud Mandarin and the smell of smoke was furiously unpleasant. The hotel should take some measures such as separating floors for mainland Chinese and other guests. Cleaning was insufficient; it was especially gross to find the previous guest's hairs and pubic hairs everywhere on the floor, but it seems that is the Hong Kong not-a five-star hotel housekeeping standard. After leaving a note to ask them to clean thoroughly, it came to a somewhat acceptable level. The room was small but (superficially) acceptably renovated. Yet, there was only one power outlet that was not occupied by the fridge or the TV, and it was located at a nearly unusable location (back of the closet). Strongly recommend preparing a power strip yourself, as the front said they don't have ones to lend to guests. So I needed to move the bed and unplugged the phone for a handy charging of my gadgets. You'll need to unplug the TV to use the electrical pot if you'd like to boil water for a cup of coffee. And all of these outlets are crudely stripped from only one outlet on the wall, whose cover plate is not fixed properly and some wires are visible, which constantly contacts a bed sheet, which made me concerned about the potential fire hazard. For a room for two, you'll be only provided two toothbrushes, two bath towels and a built-in all purpose liquid soap which won't lather very well. No shampoo, soaps, lazar, facial tissue, face towels, bath mats etc. Strongly recommend preparing them yourself. No bathtab. There was only a shower curtain to separate the toilet from the tiny shower booth. The shower was lukewarm and weak. The toilet easily clogs. Recommend not to flush bath tissue. Wifi was slow. The mattress was so firm like a plank board that I needed to put a pillow under my hips, and even did so, I finally had a backache on day 4. No safe in the room. Having plenty of bus route options to get around and to go to the airport was an only upside. Definitely will not stay again.

This hotel is not even one star. It costs almost $1,000 a night as a quarantine hotel but is worse than a hostel. The card entrance to my room did not work, they tape the lock to keep it open, when I asked how I can lock the door, the staff just asked me to remove the tape! I got permission to go for a compassion visit, when I came back, they have to send someone with a master key to open the door for me. They should not rent out a room with a faulty door. The shower was faulty, one of the electric outlets was lose so the plug kept falling out. There are only 3 channels on TV and no WiFi so for a whole week of quarantine I cannot do any work even though I have my laptop with me. The food was worse than terrible, scrambled egg, sausage and beans every breakfast. Tasteless chicken, beef or fish, overcooked noodles , cabbage only for vegetable every meal. Probably worse than meals in a prison. It should only charge $500 a night, but they took advantage of it being hard to get a quarantine room to cheat travellers who have no choice because of critically ill loved ones. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Absolutely horrible room. Room looks nothing like the photos shown on the booking site. Way smaller than how it looked online and doesn’t not have the brightest staff. Doesn’t even come with bottled water or kettle. Can’t help but feel scammed. Rarely leave reviews. Hope this one helps. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Don’t trust to the safe in room!! I put in safe an envelope with some US$100 bills but somebody open the staff when I was not at room, took $100 bills but just kept 2 and change remaining with $1 bills that as long as not take out all you think all money is inside even with a quick look you can see the first and last $100 bills. I did understand a day after once left Hong Kong and open my envelope but what could I do as I was thousands of miles away from Hong Kong. This is a professional internal job did it with peace of mind with preplan even they knew when you’ll have check out to do it in last day!!!

We checked in here for our mandatory quarantine and it was a modest hotel with minimal amenities. I spoke to the lady on the phone several times about the issues with the room lights and she would always say she'll send someone to check but nothing happened. I spoke to another gentleman on the phone and the issue was resolved within the day. The maintenance guys who came to fix the tv and brought the desk lamp were very kind and helpful. The room was quite dusty when I checked in but cleaning supplies can be requested since housekeeping services are not available.

Hotel seems clean upon entering. Reception is fast and helpful. There is access to WIFI in the lobby and in the hotel room and it works! This hotel is isolated from food places and other activities. There is a bus stop just next to it which helped us to get to the MTR. I came here with a group of friends and we booked two separate rooms. We'd have this problem where our keys would not work or would get deactivated. So at night when we already wanted to rest after a tiring day, we'd have to go down and fix the issue. We had to do it three times and it was truly annoying. Another thing I didnt like was their elevator and how we had no access to go up to higher floors. (My friends were at a lower floor, I was in the higher). In order to get to my room, they'd have to take the lift down to the lobby and then go back up to my floor. Rooms and bathrooms were clean but small. Not recommended for those who feel claustrophobic. But I guess this is norm around in Hong Kong and that's a truly sad thing. For me, this hotel was so-so.

Booked a room with Rambler Oasis Hotel in my first trip to Hong Kong last April and stayed there for 4 days, 3 nights. The location was easy to find. If you prefer to stay away from crowded areas, this is the perfect place to stay plus it is also one mini-bus ride to Tsing Yi MTR. I never had any issues traveling to tourist spots like Disneyland, Victoria Peak, etc. It was easy to navigate around. There are also shops nearby. Affordable price for a 3-star hotel. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Staff are professional and approachable. I am a solo traveler and a light packer so the size of the room is perfect for me. From my experience, room is clean and well-ventilated. I specifically chose a room with a view of the harbor so at night I can view the lights of HK's buildings. I had a comfortable rest in the hotel after a day's long of walking around. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. If ever I will visit Hong Kong again in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

Very cheap stay in HK for a hotel, the location is a bit away from any attraction, however, it worths the cheap rental. You have to ride a minibus in order to get to the closest MTR station. View is good, you can see full Hong Kong harbour far away, of course with the container terminal right in front of you. At least you get an open view. Room size is OK comparatively in HK. Don't expect much service, but you have the basics.

Crowded with old people tourists from mainland without manner. Did not even give a way in the lift when passager try to get out from the lobby , large numbers just push passenger in without shameless because they try to get to the basement carpark where their tour bus park. Tourists stay next to my room trying to open my room door and saying some random stuff , which I have no idea what it mean, at the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. It is horrible experience after all !

I've had good experience on this hotel though the room is not perfect the service we received is great. The location is far from the city but it is a great experience to ride a bus nearby and see the greenery part of Hongkong. There is a nearby 7 eleven and restaurants that you can go to buy whatever things you needed. Take note that the rooms are a bit small and old.

Good value for money ratio! I would recommend the Deluxe rooms as standard is a bit tight for well traveled/international visitors. I love the super high ceilings, the gigantic compound pool. Bus service well connects you with the rest of Hong Kong, but to get into the hotel there is a lack of good signage so you have to explore around (not ideal when you come with luggage). You could get a voucher at reception for using the Health club (gym). See the photos. It's a bigger than average gym. Shopping supermarket and basic restaurants at the Level 1. A few points to improve are the maintance of the rooms and desirable a real high speed internet.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. The first time was quite nice. It was very close to the photos posted on a lot of websites, but this time, I would say I’m very disappointed. The front staff are ok, and the house keeping staff were nice, but most disappointing thing is that the room was not clean at all. I can understand that the corridor is an open area so it’s possible that bugs crawled in to the room. But it was quite shocking to have found it 2 times. The manager decided to give us a room change and promised to contact professional cleaning companies to clean the rooms due to this incident. The room that we received was a bit better than the previous room but due to that experience, I felt really hard to give another try.

I recently booked this hotel with nice deal. Room was little smaller and different from the picture I saw in hotel superior room. I request early check in and also demanded for large bed but they didn’t accepted. Room was clean and nice, bathroom was clean also. It’s good hotel at budget deal. Surely I will recommend to everyone who don’t have that much budget for other hotels. Location : it’s little far from the main MTR From Tsing Yi MTR if you take taxi they will charge you 34.5 HKD. If you take bus from Tsing Yi MTR 88G or 88F it’s only 3.5 HKD from there to Rambler crest which is last and near to hotel. If you have time for check in then use bus or if you don’t have time and want to come here faster use Taxi βœ…

I was only looking for a room with a proper bed to sleep. Thus, although the furniture in the room is outdated, the comfortable bed is enough for my purpose. Furthermore, the location is perfect for me when my major activities are taking flights at the airport, or taking trains at the Kowloon Element stop. I would say this is a very practical stay that can meet my basic needs.

No complimentary drinking water, No glass wines to offer if you want to drink and enjoy the view from the window. But its worth the money you paid for. There's a small plaza downstairs where you can find basic things you need. Not bad at all.

I didn’t have a UK plug adapter but the staff kindly let me use their one from behind the counter. Great service and effort. My room also had an awesome view of the huge ships loading and offloading containers and cars.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. I BOOKED 23 DAYS HERE. THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE DAYS INDIVIDUALLY. EACH DAY WAS CHARGED SEPARATELY. AFTER 5 DAYS, I WANTED TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER HOTEL BUT THEY REFUSED TO REFUND ME FOR THE UNUSED DAYS EVEN THOUGH THE DAYS WERE CHARGED SEPARATELY. THE BEDS ARE LIKE CONCRETE AND THE STAFF IS NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING. ALSO THERE IS NOTHING AROUND THIS HOTEL. YOU WILL HAVE TO TRAVEL FAR TO GET ANYWHERE. YOU GET WHAT YOU OAY FOR. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

At this price point of around three hundred hong kong dollar, I think it offers what it can as a livable accommodation with great view, decent bed, private bathroom and proper reception. The receptionist team with Kandy, Rachel and Agnes are quite smart in handling complicated situation.

One of the worst experiences I could have had. Air conditioning stopped working mid night, tried calling reception couple of times to get it fixed. Also, there are no separate charging points available in the room. Need to take of the appliances point removed to charge the mobile. I highly recommend to keep away from this hotel!

The room was a little smaller than expected. The view was great. Food quality was pathetic during quarantine. Despite pre booking and clarifying the meal needs , nothing was done leading to last minute changes and non availability at hotel after our arrival. The staff service was poor in terms of assistance with shifting the luggage and thus, it had to be done on our own. The hygeine was basic but as per the cost paid, the facilities were not adequate. The room however offered air conditioning facility, tv, hot shower facility, electronic kettle, a mini refrigerator and a small study space. Could have been better because i paid 982 HKD for each night and this was disappointing

Quiet location with fantastic harbor views!!!!. Rooms were of good size for Hong Kong standards. Bathroom was small, but shower cubicle was large. Hardly any noise from any other rooms or hallways. No road noise. Free WiFi, bar fridge, kettle. Several power points in convenient locations, but no USB points. The bed was extremely hard, too which I found out later there was a slab of wood under the bed???? Why? That is going to give everyone a sore back including me. Under the complex is a park n shop, cafe de coral and a couple of other shops. Mini busses 1 minute walk away. 4 minute walk away is the airport bus and heaps of other bus stops

It's probably the worst hostel you can find in Hong Kong. They do not provide enough electric outlets. Make sure you bring your own power bar, or you have to get up in the middle of the night to switch your mobile phone to charge it. The TV is placed at an awkward angle so it's very difficult to watch it. I certainly won't come back here regardless of what they charge.
