We spent one week at Island Pacific hotel. We were picked up from the airport by shuttle service organized by hotel stuff, which wasn't expensive at all. The hotel staff is very friendly and always there to support, no matter what you need. We booked our room in upper floor to have a nice view- and the view was really amazing. Our room was clean, however, there was a weird smell in the room, you could not open the windows and the room had air conditioner only- this would be ok, but the smell was disturbing and I think there are enough possibilities to avoid such smell with some fresheners. The location of this hotel is great for every tourist, few meters from MTR station, close to Central and there are many restaurants where you can walk, or you can enjoy some good food in the hotel restaurant.

I felt the room was very comfortable, the cleaning people could have been better at their jobs. The buffet breakfast was okay. My favorite part was the automatic pancake maker. The hotel itself is somewhat pretty on the inside. But the staff is not particularly accommodating. The biggest downside of the hotel is the neighborhood. It's kind of grimy, not pretty, it's definitely not clean, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you're walking down narrow streets with very pedestrian, ugly-looking shops. It's just not a luxurious environment that I'm used to.

Good morning. Wonderful big hotel! An amazing view really on sea, my room from 28th and penultimate level, to look the opposite side of Hong Kong, and the big right area of Financial Center and other. The rooms are by corner, then double view, then big spectacular panorama. All staff so gentle and great courtesy. This hotel is surely by 5 stars, not less. Thank You very much

It's my birthday trip, and Island Pacific Hotel(港島太平洋酒店)has a birthday promotion. We payed abound 500hkd for staying one night, and the room has a sea view. We can also have a late check out at 2pm. It's very warm that the hotel sent us a red wine as a gift, although it taste bad but this action is very warm and make my day very happy. This room is not small, the bed is very comfortable. The toilet is clean and big, I love thier shower gel is orange flavor, it smell so sweet and fresh. It has some basic facilities such as restaurants and swimming pool.

This is a good hotel mainly due to the value. I stayed in the best room available on the top floor for only about $2,500 USD for a month. Nice room, nice view, nice bed, nice shower. The staff are very helpful. The room service food is good. The laundry process is convenient and well done. Overall a hassle free pleasant stay. Better than when I paid the absolutely outrageous prices at the Ritz-Carlton where the value for money is nonexistent. I like that the gym is 24 hours too. They should possibly heat the pool and add a jacuzzi especially for colder months.

Riots were going on during my stay but the area where the hotel was located wasn’t affected. This hotel was also extremely close to the MTR exit which made transportation easy. It was fortunate that the route was still open. Room was clean but quiet small. I also expected some toiletries that didn’t exist like body/hand cream. The thing I did like the most was the filtered water machine on the floor; excellent idea. As somebody who drinks a lot of water and carries around a water bottle constantly, it’s a god send in a city that doesn’t have potable water from the taps. Would have been nice if breakfast was included but the food was excellent from the restaurant nonetheless. The selection wasn’t anything fancy but sufficient to provide a good variety.

I had a short stay but in general was great! Clean and with most basic supplies, convenient location and sufficient local dining in the area. do expect some noise from speeding ppl out of the west tunnel but definitely money for value!

Most of the rooms here have sea views, which is absolutely lovely. Staffs are welcoming, informative and efficient. Rooms are clean and modern, however quite small. If you are travelling with big suitcases, it will be better for you to book a bigger room or choose a different hotel since you won’t be able to open them. For location, it is also not bad, there’s mtr and tram nearby. Bus stations are also at walking distance.

For a basic business hotel, it’s perfectly fine, even more than adequate. The room is very comfortable, but be aware that renovation is being down on upper floors through October 2018. I’ve heard other reviewers talking about outdated rooms. They may have had rooms prior to renovation. Breakfast is great and offers a choice between savory and sweet options. Perhaps could use some more fresh fruit. There’s a nice outdoor pool, but I didn’t use it. The fitness room, which is pretty small, looks out onto it. If you want to do treadmill or elliptical, it’s great, but the weights and floor area are lacking. Front Desk service is great.

Staff are wonderful. Location is great. Floors 18 upwards are newly refurbished and clean. Breakfast is tasty, mix of European and Asian. The reason I have given it a 3 is that floors 1 to 17 are not refurbished, some smell of old smoke and others just smell old. The beds are very firm if that is your preference.

My stay at Island Pacific Hotel in Hong Kong was delightful. Nestled in a relatively quiet area, it offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The hotel's strategic location was a highlight, with numerous restaurants nearby, catering to various culinary preferences. The proximity to a vibrant shopping district added to the overall convenience. One of the hotel's standout features was its accessibility, being close to a train station and not far from the airport. This made exploring the city and commuting stress-free. The generously sized rooms were a pleasant surprise, providing more space than the typical accommodations found in Hong Kong. Throughout my stay, the hotel staff exhibited warmth and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. In summary, Island Pacific Hotel offers a harmonious blend of tranquility and accessibility, making it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others seeking a comfortable and well-situated accommodation in Hong Kong.
