I was not impressed at all with everything about the hotel. Carpeting in the room is filthy and dusty, we did not have daily housekeeping service due to the Covid restrictions but only every three days. There is no main switch to turn off all lights other than turning each one off manually. The night table had no outlets for charging cellphones which was inconvenient. No face/hand towels provided other than one bath towel per person and one bathmat. Called for concierge to pickup our luggage on our last day and it took forever for them to arrive so we ended up taking it down to the lobby ourselves. The room key which is also the key to the elevator doesn’t work very well and it takes a number of tries til it allows you to select your floor. I definitely. WILL NOT be coming back to this establishment. EVER!!! They should remove their 4 star rating immediately! πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–

Poor customer service, staff manner is rude and not helpful. Always break the promises!! They don't know their policies well. Room is smelly, carpet and wall with stains and cracks, floor is uneven, soundproofing is poor in the room. Corridor ventilation is stuffy. Rubbish can be found outside the sliding windows. I'm afraid there may be cockroaches and rats. Its absolutely needs a renovation for this room price. At the Covid time, most of the wall hand sanitizers are not functioning. When I did the booking, the staff claimed they could provide disabled room with shower chair; but turned out it was a standard room with a plastic chair ("begging for one") in bathroom. Each time I've to ask for the staff to escort me to street level, and going through a smelly path and dirty goods lift. This hotel is absolutely not convenient for wheelchair disabled person. Poor facilities and disabled access. Staying there is a nightmare, no dignity and not much freedom at all. This hotel is worth for 1 to 2 STARS honestly, 1 STAR is given for the good location. If you spent for this amount of money, you could have lots of choice. I only stayed there for a few days and after that I swapped to Cordis Hotel (Langham Place) for 2 months long-stay. It's a great location, good customer service, modern facilities, beautiful room and great view, and of course a better price.

Booked the Duplex suite for a staycation. The room was filthy, with a disgusting smell you couldn’t escape. Tried to hide under the bed sheets, which somehow smelt worse. Upon informing management they sent up sheets for us to change ourselves. With the over powering smell and dirt. I’d considered it’d be more pleasant staying at home. Tried to ask for a downgrade or anything to escape. After a long, winding and condescending lecture with the front desk about their inflexible policies. Feeling unheard, we managed to at-least move to another room which thankfully did have less odor. However, still covered with dust, painted in stains, limescale, a dirty tissue, rot inside of the fridge and a few insects. The night time security were also obstinate and unhelpful while we tried to get food delivered. At the end of checkout I had to wait 10 minutes for them to assess the room which is another first for myself. Overall, with the choice of hotels available in Hong Kong you can certainly find something a lot more relaxing, clean, helpful and professional.

Jason the front desk is very rude, and not customer-oriented. there was a bad review regarding this person 10 months ago. And this person still working here and give lots of trouble to guest. It's not worth it to stay here. It's a 1-star hotel service experience.

Very old hotel with bigger room. If you forget what traditional television was, please stay one night to find out. Room was clean & a few steps to the Jordan MTR Station. Although room was facing Nathan Road, it was quiet. Staff was polite

Pros: Friendly staff; Ok facility although somewhat old fashioned feeling like in the 80s; Good location Cons: Terrible Wi-Fi connection which was lost constantly and hard to get reconnected; Malfunctioning lift card connection and you have to insert multiple times to be able to use the lift and open the door; Very few sockets in the room

After being there for 5 nights, I can clearly say that the accommodation was very well. Rooms were clean, the bath was cleaned daily and the stuff was very kind and effective. The stuff at the reception helped me a lot and gave all efforts to answer all my questions. The location of the hotel was perfect. Located on the Nathan road (one of the main axis in the city) close to metro station (Jordan)and within minutes walk from some of the cities best attractions at Victoria harbor. The hotel is also within a minute walk from a bus station with line A20/21 which drives directly to the airport. The room I had has all necessary facilities and it seems it was re decorated and renovated not long ago. Facilities include A/C, bath, TV set (I didn't open it though), deposit box and small refrigerator. I can clearly recommend staying and will surely enjoy staying there in case I will visit HK again.

Prudential Hotel a pricey hotel in a good location, not value for money in my view Rooms are simple, smallish with a very dated bathroom attached My king bed was old and the mattress needed to be replaced There is no spacious lobby for a sit or to have a drink to watch the world go by the so call lobby bar is anything but comfortable Room service , my cleaning lady and the laundry service were excellent, professional service laundry and room was spotless everyday . I could not thank them enough. Location is very convenient for busses, train or cabs.

Pricey Disappointing Stay: A review of Prudential Hotel. I stayed at this hotel and found it to be quite disappointing. While the location, right next to Jordan MTR, was excellent and convenient for dining options, the overall experience didn't match the price charged. The room itself was in poor condition with a rundown appearance. The carpet had an unpleasant smell, and the bed mattress was lumpy, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The pillows also had an odor issue. Additionally, the design of the bath tub was flawed, leading to wet floors after every shower. The provided shampoo and shower gels were of low quality and insufficient for a two-day stay. Housekeeping only occurred every two days, and even then, the cleaning left much to be desired. The walls, blinds, and table were dirty, which was quite off-putting. Moreover, there were very few available plugs in the room, making it inconvenient for charging devices. In addition to the other issues I mentioned, the elevator card system was also a significant frustration during my stay. Trying to use the card to access the elevator was a cumbersome process, requiring multiple attempts (usually 8-10 times) just to get the elevator moving. This not only wasted time but also led to unnecessary rides up and down because other floors had pressed the elevator button while I was struggling with the card system. It added an extra layer of inconvenience to an already disappointing experience. Overall, the location is the hotel's main advantage, but the subpar room conditions and amenities did not justify the price. I would recommend considering other options in the area for a more comfortable and pleasant stay.

Do not book this hotel, its a scam! We stay there for 3 nights, one room dubble bed two persons including breakfast. The breakfast was for one person only the manager told us. I show the manager the booking confirmation by agoda. He came up with a b*llsh*it story about a different partner (no agoda) he dont wanna tell us the name of the company, very strange. So for us only one breakfast. I book a non smoking room. There was a big problem because the manager want to put us in a smoking room. I think because we travel with backpacks we look cheap. After a lot of talking he give us a non smoking room next to the elevator, thats okay. The manager was not a nice person. We had a very bad experience. And also..... In the room was a bad smell. Wifi was not stable. When we back home we discover bed bugs, i guess from prudential hotel. So if you consider to book this hotel, think twice!

I felt so itchy lying on the bed 😭😭😭...and I found something in between the cushion! ( it means they didn't change bed sheets) And the room was so smelly, smells like cigarette πŸ˜“. Room was full of dust! I will never come to this hotel again! If you ever come here, pls let them change the covers in your own eyes. Really disappointed coming here...

Great location as it is just above Jordan MTR station and that all good about this hotel. Used to stay there before Covid and the riots and the rooms were ok. But fast forward to now, the rooms look aged and stuck in the 90s. They renovated a bit and upgraded the furniture to something more modern. But the TV is still the old LCD TV models and I think 25 inch for the room that I had. Shower area was a bathtub with shower head. Instead of a shower curtain, there’s a piece of glass but water was splashing all over the floor. Be careful not to slip when getting out of the bath tub. Carpet is old and has a musky smell. The only reason I had to book this was because we arrive late that night and needed a room to stay before we moved to another hotel down the road at The Mira.

The strong point for this hotel is the location, which is in Nathan Road, where you can find many stores, Malls, restaurants, and offices. It is near Temple Street Night Market, and only 2 MTR stations from Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. The room itself is quite large, but a bit old. The bed is small, it has work table, and the water pressure is OK in the shower. They clean the room every other day, which is OK for me. The price is also reasonable. It is also connected to a small shopping center and directly linked to Jordan MTR station. The breakfast is quite OK, not too many varieties, but taste good. In short, it is recommended hotel for the location.

In Hongkong mostly you didn't get spacious room but we were lucky that we booked rooms in prudential and this hotel has proper spacing in compare to other hongkong hotels. This place is very near from Jordan metro station, walkable distance, bus stands are very near. It's a well connected location for every means of transportation. Feedback: For their guest atleast provide water bottles whenever they ask for free of cost.

**No Housekeeping Done** Had a recent stay due to business trip and no issue about hotel/room was old with aged carpet (Forever Prudential Hotel Carpet). But what was disappointing was coming back from a hard day work late at night, came back to a room which was not clean up. Note: Had hang up the Make-up room sign at the door knob. Contacted the front office with no pick-up and and have to go to the counter, citing will send people up, only to send towel up. Well done and speechless. Hanging the sign at the door is USELESS after all!

Location is excellent. A lot of shops around the area...and Starbuck behind the hotel. Room size is good πŸ‘πŸ» But for service at the reception, the lady who attend to me is very impatient πŸ˜‘ I can't understand Cantonese well so I speak in English but she refuse to reply in English & keep talking in a impatient tone in Cantonese πŸ˜₯ typical Hongkonger 😬 Though I'll still highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel, near to many facilities: train station, dining, shopping, parks. Excellent service, even allowing us to weigh our luggage before our flight.

The room is spacious, and clean. The location is good, there's a direct access to Jordon MTR without leaving the building. Good customer service. Poor wifi connection, very slow. Not recommended for wheelchair user as need to climb a few steps in order to enter the building.

Great location and connected to the subway. Been staying with Prudential Hotel for a long time due to their great hospitality. The assistant manager, Mr Bo Lee is very friendly and my family and I know him for years. He even upgraded our room for free and arranged for wheelchair without charges for my mother as she injured her leg during the trip. He even allowed us to bring the wheelchair to Guangzhou before we come back to Prudential to stay for a couple of days before returning to Singapore. The reception Mr Henry Leung is approachable and helpful who arrange our rooms nicely for us. He even allowed me to use the business centre for a meeting in the early hours of morning before check in time. Mr Ricky Lau is extremely kind and helpful. He will always push the wheelchair for my mother everyday and carry the wheelchair to the reception when we arrive the hotel. Overall great service. However would love to feedback that the hotel room is really outdated and there is a need to renovate and revamp it. It is still quite traditional with bathtubs and is dangerous for elderly to climb in and out of the bathtub. There should be rooms with standing shower. Hope this could be improved. Thank you and hope to visit your hotel again.

The room is quite spacious, and clean. But the room service runs every 2 days, not daily. The location is superb, it's near the station and there's a direct access to that (no need to walk outside). The only minus point is the elevator, it really stressed me out.

The Prudential Hotel in Hong Kong stands out for its prime location, making it a top choice for travelers who value convenience. Its proximity to public transport, notably train stations, greatly simplifies city exploration. While the hotel offers limited parking, this is hardly a concern as most attractions are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport. One of the highlights of staying at the Prudential is the impressive view it offers. This, coupled with a generous provision of complimentary beverages, adds a touch of luxury to the experience. The cleaning schedule, set at every two days, is thoughtful and efficient, ensuring comfort without being intrusive. The hotel's pricing can peak during high seasons, which is something to be mindful of when planning a visit. However, considering the overall quality and convenience it offers, the cost is generally justified. In summary, my experience at the Prudential Hotel was thoroughly satisfying, making it a recommendable choice for anyone visiting Hong Kong.

rooms are big with come with welcome soft drinks, shower water pressure is miserable whereas the bath tub fills with a stronger pressure. aircon regulates well and blackout sliding screens block out the outside lights well

Basic hotel, except I booked this place with the amenities in mind (laundry and access to the gym) they do not have a self service laundry for you. You either pay the exorbitant hotel service laundry or go to a laundry mat. Their gym have a set hours. (6:30-10-30) it's not even big so they're asking for their customers to crowd the gym in all hours. I would not have booked this place if I had known about this. Suspicious marketing that they did not mention gym hours anymore. I am more disappointed at a hotel setting gym hours when there won't be anyone to monitor the floor anyway. Every other hotels have 24/7 gym hours.

Stayed here for a month in 2019. Wifi, gym and smell were terrible. Now I'm back for a few days and everything is still the same or even worse. Location directly above MTR station is good.

Worst hotel and cheap front desk people ever. They say to clean our room daily you have to pay extra because of covid they cannot clean room everyday but if you py covid runs awaya ridiculous making lame excuses to save little money highly unprofessional.

Hotel is old and dated but however, the room size is big compared to others newer joint. If you wish to have space and dont mind compensating with the appearance then it will be a good hotel to stay. Location is great .. downstairs is MTR station and a Bus stand in the front of the hotel.. airport transfer is less then 5 mins walk away.. and surrounded with food..

The condition of this hotel is a 2 or 3 at most. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. It's extremely old and rundown. The housekeeping only comes once every 3 days and you have to ask for them to come clean it. I understand that HK just lifted restrictions at the time and haven't recovered from covid times but it's ridiculous for a supposed 4 star hotel. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke all throughout. My hotel room was super cold and dark. The heating system was broken in my room so I asked to switch rooms but they refused to do so and said I should sleep with 3 blankets. The temperature outside was 25 degrees but somehow my room was much colder than outside. I told the receptionist I wasn't able to sleep for the first 2 nights already cause it was unbearably cold but she couldn't be bothered. I told her I would hold her responsible if I got sick so finally she said she would send housekeeping to check the room. The housekeeper kept insisting I try using 3 blankets first then after going back and forth she asked if I would like a portable heater. When she came back with the heater she said it was the last one that they had left so clearly I wasn't the only one with that problem. The only good thing about this hotel is the location as the MRT is right below and there's plenty of food and 7-11's surrounding the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 4 star and above.

I was here after my quarantine hotel, and honestly, I wasn't impressed with the amenities. The room had an AWFUL odor that was so overpowering, it felt like it burnt my lungs. There was no in-room hot water pot, and no daily restocking of items. The staff was very nice, helpful, and fast to assist with food orders, taxi ordering, etc. It wasn't near the attractions I wanted to see, but might be located well for a destination shopper. πŸ˜€

The hotel is real clean staff was friendly and is convenient to head out to anywhere as the MTR is just right at the bottom of the property bis stop is just right outside the property door step.. Around the area is convenient to grab food and dessert just a few minutes of walking distance.. Is overall the best recommended hotel in Hong kong. The next round when I visit back to Hong Kong I definitely will stay at the property again.
