Our
stay
was
decent,
it
ran
from
6/27
to
7/1,
a
very
hot
and
humid
period.
The
room
is
kind
of
tight
(the
bed
occupied
1/3
the
whole
space
and
goes
from
wall
to
wall
which
I
would
expect
in
a
Chungking
Mansion
guesthouse),
but
at
least
it's
bigger
than
those
hotels
where
the
shower
is
right
above
the
toilet.
The
bed
was
indeed
a
queen,
so
it
was
spacious
enough
for
two
short
people
(myself
and
my
Lady)
and
it
felt
plenty
good
to
sleep
on.
Maybe
we
were
just
lucky,
but
it
didn't
seem
like
noise
from
adjacent
rooms
was
a
problem.
What
made
the
room
a
bit
uncomfortable
was
that
it
felt
a
little
damp
most
of
the
time,
especially
the
top
of
the
sheets.
There
didn't
seem
to
be
mold
on
the
sheets,
but
there
might
have
been
mold
on
the
shower
tiles/grout.
We
didn't
have
breathing
complications
for
our
4
night
stay,
so
perhaps
it's
nothing
to
worry
about.
It
would
have
been
nice
to
have
more
room
to
hang
clothes
to
dry
and
more
hangers
(the
laundry
is
ridiculously
expensive,
something
like
$8
to
wash&dry
a
single
shirt,
they
must
be
using
baby
tears
for
washing).
Also,
it
would
have
been
nice
to
be
able
to
open
the
window
to
allow
dampness
to
escape.
The
aesthetic
of
the
place
is
cool,
but
I
expected
a
little
more
from
it,
and
some
elements
are
repeated.
The
liner
was
coming
off
of
the
sink
rim
on
one
side
(even
before
we
stayed).
The
door
man
isn't
especially
polite/DGAF;
we
had
more
hospitality
from
another
hotel
we
stayed
in
TST
that
was
only
$40
(USD)
more
for
the
same
amount
of
time.
The
front
desk
is
better
mannered
than
the
door
man
and
helpful
enough
and
they
speak
more
English
than
the
other
hotel's
front
desk.
They
loaned
us
an
electrical
outlet
converter
for
free
that
worked
just
fine.
The
mobile
phone
that
comes
with
the
room
is
kind
of
cool,
but
also
frustrating
to
use.
When
you
unlock
the
phone
screen,
sometimes
it
goes
right
back
to
the
unlock
screen
and
you
have
to
unlock
a
second
time
and
occasionally
you'll
have
advertisements
fill
up
the
screen.
None
the
less,
it
was
helpful
in
getting
around
(and
good
to
have
a
backup),
it
had
4G
while
our
American
cellphones
only
had
2G.
I
wish
I
had
used
the
mobile
hotspot
capability
and
I
wish
it
had
a
better/faster
user
interface.
I
might
stay
again
just
because
the
price
was
good,
it's
right
above
the
cusp
of
being
too
cramped
with
the
shower/toilet
combo
and
being
too
expensive.
