We enjoyed a long stay at Lodgewood Mongkok this summer in one of their M suites. The L suite was not available at the time of booking. The best part about this hotel is their staff, everyone was friendly and helpful and always smiling. Services were prompt. The suite was clean and spacious, we loved the water pressure in the bathroom and the convenience of having a microwave, fridge, dinnerware and a dining table in the suite. However, we took one star away as our suite (2002) has a connecting door to next door (room 2003, not a suite). Very often when room 2003 was occupied, we could hear all the talking and actions in that room. There was a time my 4 yo daughter freaked out because a man next door was yelling and fighting with someone on the phone. The hotel also caters to many Chinese tourists and inevitably, some of them ignore the rules and smoke inside their rooms. The smell sometimes got into a suite, at times so overwhelming that all our clothes stink. Location wise, not entirely perfect considering how convenient everywhere else in HK is. There are some buses and mini buses a block away but it's usually a 7-8 minutes walk to Nathan Road to catch the buses or MTR to go places. Overall we enjoyed our stay except for the smoke and noise from the connecting room and will return to this hotel again.

Rooms are small but we'll appointed. The usual hotel items are there but a microwave was a pleasant surprise. Some may find the fishbowl bathroom a little disconcerting but the shower is terrific. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reception is located on the first floor. Location is closer to Mong Kok MTR than Prince Edward.

Gotta love this hotel!!! This hotel located a bit far from main street but it is all in walkable distance, so not a big problem. The room was large enough for 2 people comfortably dwell in, and the king-size Bed is a plus!! The shower room is very unique and well designed, with the toilet and washroom all looking good. The only little problem was the upper floor sometimes created some noise of renovations or furniture moving, made a little but disturbance. Yet overall, this hotel is one of the most enjoyable 4-star hotel in Kowloon!!

Good standard hotel Excellent service staff The check-in and accommodation are clearly separated. Big room, very clean bathroom. Very close to the subway, can walk a short distance.

Their staff is lovely, the hotel is quite new and clean. It's located in quiet area, not too far from MTR. Room size is enough for a couple of travelers like us (and this is in HK, understandable πŸ˜ƒ). Very functional hotel with necessary facilities like kettle, plates, bowls, mini fridge, microwave, etc.

I had a comfortable week-long stay at Lodgewood, though it is clear improvements could be made. The room was small but outfitted with all the necessities, including dishes and cutlery - great for a longer stay. The staff also brought an ironing board and iron/steamer promptly at my request. The drawbacks are that the room, while modern looking at a glance, is definitely well worn. The bathroom had unsightly patches, rust and mould and the room was dimly lit. My bedsheets also had an odd grainy stain upon arrival, which was changed at my request. The location is safe but in the seedier part of the city. The price is still somewhat high which is standard for Hong Kong. It is near Mong Kok station though which makes getting around quite easy. The downtown area is also closeby. Overall, if it suits your budget, it is OK to book but there are probably better choices.

Very nice hotel. Very good usage of space. Clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Room facilities including microwave, kettle, nice plates and bowls collection, hair dryer, wireless and iPhone charger. In the middle of main island, where everything is there. No iron in the room. The reception has a vending machine operated by cash and octopus card.

The location is very convenient to reach the mtr, loaded with a lot of food on the streets nearby, also near shops. The rooms are considered averagely spacious, the problem for me is just the toilet's floors. It's extremely dusty and needs to be touched up on that aspect.

We enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were very nice and spoke English well. They let us check in at 7am for the previous night (because of our 4am flight arrival) without any issues, and held our luggage after checking out while we did more sightseeing. Room was clean, quiet and quite spacious for the 2 of us. WiFi was very fast. Great location close to the subway and markets. Lobby was also nice to hang out in as a break from the heat outside.

The hotel is located in a hidden street behind the busy Mongkok. It’s a bit quiet during night time. The pictures from google seems to be taken a long time ago. The bathroom floor looks nasty, you won’t like to walk on it with bare feet. Service was great, they will assist you with luggage when you call for a taxi. There were a few days we woke up late, they made a call to ask when they can clean our room beforehand.

As a courtesy sharing, the hotel hallway and the key buttons of the elevators are so dusty and filthy Your attention for the professional services are highly appreciatedWhen entering the room, the stand pad is without paper. The TV remote control is only on the countertop. It seems that the cleaning has not been completed and there is coffee bag of one 。

The front desk staffs are readily helpful and friendly. We are very pleased with their service. Each and everyone of them displayed their professionalism. The location of the hotel is convenient and it took only a few mins walk to Mongkok MTR station ~ Entrance A2. This MTR station is so convenient and accessible to the heart of all the shopping areas. Across the road, there is also a porridge shop nearby to 7-11 which closes at 2am which sells yummy Chee Cheong fun, youtiao n noodles…..perfect place for supper! The room is not too big but is equipped with all the necessities plus an air purifier. I find the shape of the shower area very unusual. We enjoyed our stay and will chose Lodgewood at Mong Kok again when we next visit HongKong. Thank you so very much for making us feel so welcome and happy! Will definitely recommend this hotel !

great room, spacious space, awesome shower, definitely 5 stars for the room. But it seems located in an industry zone, construction companies on the whole street. Service is OK, but the sales team is very dodgy, asked for extension 1.5 wks ago, no response, eventually, i have to ordered online, then I realized they increased the room price for 10% yesterday. Well, they set up their long term (4 mths) resident in a smart way. I have to book otherwise, I got no place to go. Well done. Congrads on the additional 4k profit.

The hotel is not in the main tourist area of Mongkok but is nonetheless well located with large parts of Mongkok, Tai Kok Tsui and Prince Edward within comfortable walking distance. Mongkok MTR station exit A2 is 5 minutes walk away and there are many good restaurants and shopping malls nearby. Rooms are not particularly large but are well-featured with a microwave in every room. The showers are also very spacious. The hotel is kept clean and the rooms are stocked with bottled water daily. Power sockets are sufficient to charge devices and to work. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to provide good service. At the end of our stay we had more luggage than we could comfortably manage, and the staff were more than happy to help us store our things after check out and then load it into our taxi downstairs when we left for the airport. They also let us store a few things in the hotel's fridge when they wouldn't fit in the one in our room. During our stay we had a few small issues with our room but they were resolved quickly, with the director of operations Simon Lee overseeing repairs personally. Mr Lee was also very forthcoming with advice and help with shop and travel recommendations. We had an excellent stay at the Lodgewood and can highly recommend it to all travellers.

The location is not the best but it is rather easy to locate. Counter staffs are polite, friendly and approachable. The rooms are average in size but clean. Not much of scenary from the level we were at so cant really say much for the view. There was a microwave and 2 sets of cabinets which was a good surprise for us. Sufficient plugs to charhe applicances too.

Based on previous reviews,My family and I were hesitant on booking as we have higher standards for hotels. I absolutely felt that this place was worth it based on the price and location itself. Other than that the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for people who want to be in Mongkok but still want a little privacy as this hotel is on a less busy street.
