The room is clean and the location is good. Swimming pool is the most favourite facility but you will be disappointed when you go swimming there. The hotel provides 8 swimming sessions (around 1 hour for each session). Due to COVID-19, only 30 ppl could be acommodated in each session. What's worse, they do not provide any booking system. You could not book in advance nor get tickets on a first come first served basis. Instead, your whole family including children are required to queue (and no seats are provided) outside the swimming pool for around 50 minutes so that you could enjoy swimming for 1 session. I hope they could have a better arrangement.

Just had an awesome stay at Intercontinental Grand Hong Kong! 😊 The rooms were super comfy, and the harbor view was absolutely stunning – like a postcard come to life. Big shoutout to the front desk staff who were not only polite and courteous but also incredibly helpful. They really made us feel welcomed! Now, I hate to be a downer, but the restaurant staff didn't quite live up to the hotel's standard. Their service was a bit lacking, and we didn't feel the respect we were hoping for. A bummer, but the overall experience wasn't too dented. On a brighter note, the hotel's prime location is a game-changer! Perfect spot to explore the city. All in all, had a blast at Intercontinental Grand Hong Kong! 🌟

Stayed in 2 room type during a 5 night stay.  This was due to policy in their hotel only allowing using points to exchange for basic room.  Anyway, at the time I stayed in HK, COVID rules still exist, and I am not allowed to use the club lounge facility in the first 3 days.  Therefore, I stayed in a high floor Victoria Harbour view room.  The view is magnificent.  On the 4th day morning, I was transferred to a Victoria Harbour view suite on the same floor.  The room size is good, but the bathroom wasn’t the renovated one and looked a bit old.  The shower draining was slow, and that is a common health issue even in a five-star hotel.  The service staff in the club lounge is friendly and professional.  It’s a shame that I forgot to write down your name.  I will do so when I come back this month and send it to the hotel.  This visit I will try the Chinese restaurant as well.  I'm looking forward to it.

This hotel offers staycation packages but the check-in process was awful. Our group arrived at 3pm on time for check in, but we had to wait for more than 1.5 hour in line because there were too many guests. Honestly it’s not the first day they host staycation guests, I wonder why the check in process couldn’t be expedited. Services weren’t particularly good either. Won’t come back ever. If you decide to come, be prepared that you have to wait for at least an hour and a half just to wait our check in. The same thing doesn’t really happen in other hotels, you should’ve got into your room well rested within 15 minutes if not less.

We stayed here with our 4 children, so we had to get two adjoining rooms and the staff was very helpful in arranging it. The hotel staff set out some special treats for the children before we arrived and again before bed time. The restaurants were great, and the breakfast in the room overlooking the water was fantastic. We were there for a combination work/vacation trip and the concierge and staff helped enormously in ensuring we got to see and do everything we wanted to.

This is a wonderful property and makes a perfect base for a visit to Hong Kong. If you have an opportunity to get a room with club lounge access, you will really have a special experience. The staff in the lounge are some of the nicest and friendliest you will ever meet. Faye in the lounge made our visit very memorable. They strive to make the experience truly special. The room was very spacious, perfectly appointed, and has a super comfortable bed.

Fairly good hotel, the pros: recognition of royal ambassador status, good bar (Tiffany’s) and restaurants inside the hotel, rooms are decent size for Hong Kong that comes with a good view very easy to relax at night. The lounge was nice to visit and the snacks were tasty, however there wasn’t any cocktails during cocktail hour just wine, beer, liquor etc. Also the lounge breakfast was enjoyable. Many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby the hotel. Cons: when entering the room at first the robe was partially broken but was replaced quickly, the line was a little long checking in and there was no ambassador/diamond elite check in staff at the counter during that hour. Also the location may not be suitable for everyone as it is a little far from the MTR. However it is easy to get a taxi at this hotel. Overall would recommend, but everyone has different needs so it up to what your travel needs are.

Good view of the harbour, average location, small pool and gym, awkward servicing hours for the pool and gym, Poor breakfast and general poor customer service. Checked in after 2, generally ok check in but the check in staff was rude. I passed him my HKID card but I am not a local. He spoke to me in canto but I don’t understand so he was frustrated and glanced at my HKID card. The first time I felt judged that I don’t speak Cantonese, certainly not 5 star. Room was upgraded as a IHG diamond but that’s it. The room has no bathtub or any welcome amenity, was only a Gold at Accor and Hilton but always received a free drink at the bar or some chocolates or fruits in room. Not as IHG diamond, not at IC. Called to change to a bathtub room and after 30 mins and 2 calls, no reply so went to front office then notified that they have a room with bathtub but currently cleaning. So ok, after 45 mins of waiting in the room, finally able to use the pool. The pool was tiny but has lots of tanning beds. But it has awkward “cleaning hour”, 12-45 to 2pm, which is the best time for swimming and tanning but nope, it’s closed for “cleaning”. I think it’s cost cutting cos the guard actually lock up and left the whole gym and pool, probably for lunch break rather than covid measures. Had 2 different staycations at Sheraton and Pullman so only IC closed it’s gym and pool during the best time to exercise and swim for sanitation reason. Breakfast was also the poorest. Cheap food and processed carbs. No espresso based coffee, only brewed. Better to pay 150hkd for an excellent fresh breakfast at a few cafes around. My breakfast at Pullman and Sheraton were excellent. Looking forward to IC, being the most branded IHG in Hong Kong right now, utterly disappointed. Overall, low CP value and poor location, 10-15 mins walk away from anything decent. Not recommended to anyone. Don’t know why is it 5 stars when most rooms don’t have bathtub and facilities and rooms are aged with pool breakfast.

InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is a home away from home! You'll never go wrong with this hotel. As a traveler, whether for business or just a simple staycation, my family always make sure that we choose the right hotel - a place where we can relax and enjoy not just the view and amenities, but with the warmth and hospitality of the staff. It's been two consecutive years that we've arranged our post wedding anniversary celebration at this hotel and it really doesn't disappoint! The seamless high quality standards in keeping every aspect of our stay is truly memorable and surely unmatched which is why we keep coming back! Very clean, well arranged rooms, the wide variety of food for the breakfast buffet, PLUS the spectacular view of the harbour, make every stay the BEST as always!!! Moreover, we always have wonderful SURPRISES... Special thanks to Diana Schleiter and Carman Yeung for the BEST arrangements for our 29th Wedding Anniversary... We are sooo grateful to their professionalism and global expertise... Just WOOOW!!! Highly recommended when you visit Hong Kong or just plainly having some time out from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine!!

Front desk work slow like tortoise, I can't believe 5 star hotel have 40~50 people waiting for check in, but housekeeping is helpful and polite. Last year staycation celebration for my wife's birthday have good experience so choose the same hotel, but this time is make my wife anger, real upset for this staycation in this suck hotel

This time, I came to a five-star hotel near East Tsim Sha Tsui. The hotel has unparalleled sea views near the sea. Try their themed accommodation plan this time with Mort & Chandon champagne. Their takeaway afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed in the room, looking at the invincible sea view is very relaxing. Come to the dinnar in Executive Lounge for a three-course dinner including starter, main course and dessert. To match the theme, there are two glasses of champagne with the welcome drink. Although it is a designated course, it is also good to be able having dating of us without kids. The only shortcoming of the hotel room is that there is no bathtub. If you want to have a bathtub suite, you must make an appointment in advance. Fortunately, the swimming pool can be used after 3 months lock down. The pool is not big, but the feeling of being able to go swimming is enough.

Comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom. Very polite and friendly staff. Love the XL bath towel and dressing gowns. View of the harbour was awesome.

The rooms are amazing 😊, I loved it, (especially the astronaut rooms) however, the service is poor, we need to wait 15mins to get seated for our buffet dinner. But those fluffy pancakes are superbly delicious!😋

Spectacular Harbourview and 7-Star Customer Service in a 5-Star Hotel As a business person and a hotel guest with an experience visiting world class accommodations - from 7-star Hotels to AirBnb vacation houses in different holiday destinations, I would say, Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel has the BEST customer service. A spectacular view of the Hong Kong Harbour is a PLUS! Apparently, BEST is even an underestimation of the way they treat their guests. From the moment you step into their premises to having your buffet breakfast or just lounging in the pool area or the lobby , their friendly and polite staff provided warm and welcoming atmosphere which I’m sure every guest longs for when they’re on a holiday! It’s been our 2nd time for a leisurely staycation in this hotel for a just a year - first with my husband during our wedding anniversary and the second time, with our daughters. One of the most unforgettable experiences we had was how the Guest Relations Manager, Diana Schleiter, answered and addressed all our queries during our check-in. She was very friendly and truly encapsulates qualities of an excellent hotelier. The buffet breakfast was truly a treat and a feast as well. On a side note- a day prior to our second visit in this hotel, we booked one of the five star hotels in the HK island, we had an overnight stay there and in all honesty, the buffet breakfast they offered was poorly served and did not pass the category that I was expecting from a high-end hotel but of course I do not negate the quality service the hotel staff displayed during our stay and the 4-course Italian meal we had during dinner. Unfortunately though, their buffet breakfast was a DEAL BREAKER! They only had a few choices of Asian dumplings and I barely saw western dishes and fruits which I anticipate during breakfast. It’s a good thing that we concluded our holidays in Intercontinental - their wide array of choices of scrumptious Western and Asian cuisine coupled with their mouth-watering pastries were absolute delight! Again, we had great customer service from their buffet staff, Geraldine who was very helpful and very cordial all throughout our two-day stay . We were not able to get all the names of the hotel employees but I must say, their customer service training is par excellence . The location is also another thing to consider. It is strategically located near the touristy area of Hong Kong near K11 musea, Avenue of stars and the Ocean centre. For those who love to dine and shop this hotel is a must booked. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure trips. I’ll surely book this place again and would highly refer clients and friends to do the same !

Good location being close to action but not right in the middle of it. My harbor view suite is spacious and well laid out with an angled view of the harbor. The shower is amazing; among the strongest I’ve had in any hotel. Bed was very comfortable. I love it they just give oh six bottles of water every day. The hotel has a classic design, somewhat dated but well maintained. Breakfast is pretty good as with most Asian chain hotels but can be sometimes hectic with a lot of people. The coffee ordering is a bit confusing. The pool is very small so don’t expect too much there.
