I had to wait 3 HOURS to be able to check in (arrived at 3pm, checked in at close to 6pm). And yet, I was told at 6pm that my room wasn’t ready (I finally got my room at around 8pm). I could tell that the check in counter staff were rather inexperienced because it took them around 15-20min to check me in and NO compensation/ upgrades were offered for this 5 HOUR wait. The amenities and the facilities are fine, but it’s definitely NOT worth the stress and the wait of the check in process. I really don’t know how the hyatt centric has the nerve to call themselves a 5-star hotel…

The harbour views are amazing! Pack your swim wear and check out the rooftop pool as well. There's a rooftop bar and while the drinks are mediocre, you're there for that view anyway. Rooms are small but bigger than many other HK hotels. Property is showing its age and could use some updating but still nicely decorated. Staff is friendly and helpful. The one negative is their check in process is very long, even if you check in on mobile. There was one person ahead of me and it still took me 30 minutes to check in. I've seen over a dozen people lined up during peak hours even with the counter fully staffed. They need to look at their processes and figure out why it takes so long

The hotel itself is nicely designed with great view if you choose the deluxe rooms. However the check in process is extra time consuming compared to other hotels. Service quality also varies from staff to staff. One of the staff gave me inaccurate information about the queue up system for check in.

Only been here an hour, not a great start. Generally inefficient and a waste of time in everything. Checkin, pool booking, lounge booking. Nothing syncs. An hour of my life i wont get back and not exactly the relaxing staycay i wanted to ease into. Pool is just that, no refreshments. If it warrants it later in the stay, ill edit it up from 2 stars. Bumped up to due some individual staff and a good breakfast offering. Good family hotel.

This is basically a budget hotel with nice common areas and a Hyatt brand. The rooms are tiny (about 30sqm), and service horrendous. If you’re a World of Hyatt guest (even a Globalist), you get very little benefits. They do everything possible to reject requests for room upgrades, such as insisting the better rooms are unavailable even when their website shows availability, and claiming that they cannot allow upgrades unless the better room is available for your entire stay (even if you’re willing to change rooms). I also stayed at Grand Hyatt, and got upgraded before I arrived. If you speak to their staff and they say they would get back to you, the likelihood of that happening is under 5%. I faced an issue with my room rate, as I had originally booked a stay for 5 nights but then shortened it to 3 nights. As the 2 nights cancelled were the weekend, the rates for those 2 nights were much higher than the 3 nights I stayed, so by shortening my stay, my rate should have been lower (it was a cancellable rate), yet they used the average rate of the 5 nights to apply to the 3 nights that I stayed. After speaking to several staff members (because no one ever got back to me), they all insisted there was nothing they could do. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The hotel rooms are fully equipped and also have some sea views. Because it is an normal guest room, the only thing is that the bathtub in the room is not inculded. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel, I especially liked their buffet, especially the desserts are very rich, the ice cream has a variety of flavors in the design of the turntable, and the ice cream cone is also presented in the color of bamboo charcoal.

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour is located in North Point. North Point ferry pier and North Point MTR station are within walking distance. Java Road market is opposite the hotel and there is also a shopping mall at the doorstep. The staffs were excellent; very attentive and helpful. The room has stunning 180 degrees harbour view. Overall great and comfortable stay, will definitely return very soon. Thank you for the cake.

The staff are under-trained, peak hours would have a very long queue. Although the room are most likely to have sea view and everything is fine. The experience are not really good.

On my birthday, we went to this hotel for 1 night. The rooms were quite comfortable and I was quite surprised that the food they serve are quite nice. The staff were also quite nice because on our way to the pool, one of the staff members said Happy Birthday to us. It is also surrounded by shops like YATA. The only thing that bothers me is that there are no locking doors so privacy is limited. Overall, this hotel has some minor issues that are mostly based on privacy, but I would highly recommend this hotel for tourists or people that wants a relaxing staycation.

I think the accommodation experience is great. Hotel Alex&Eric has good service. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with novel decoration design and convenient transportation. The activities to explore North Point are very interesting. I think the hotel is very attentive. I highly recommend it as the first choice for everyone to stay in Hong Kong.

Stayed here for a weekend and it was great! Was in the Harbour View Deluxe room and loved how beautiful the view was from there, how clean and cozy the room was, and fantastic service as well during my stay. The rooftop pool is also worth stopping by, alongside a nice gym. Breakfast buffet in one of the restaurants downstairs was delicious and also had a wide variety so there’s something for everyone. The check out process was so easy and efficient since you just drop off your card in a box, so all in all it was a seamless and lovely experience. Only minor downside is the location, as North Point is a bit further away. That being said, if you’re especially visiting HK and also okay with staying towards further east of HK island, this is a nice place to stay and also reasonably priced for the rooms and amenities you are getting. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Check in tool half an hour. They changed our room from its original booking. The room is okay. We had a drink at the roof top bar and restaurant. It was a nice view of the harbour.

Awesome 5 stars hotel located at North Point. Centrally located and very convenient to move around. 100m to MTR, 300m to the bus terminal to airport. Surrounded with local community and lots of eateries and restaurants. The hotel is very comprehensive. Beautiful decorations and “feel at home”. Modern and classic hotel. Important is their rooms are facing the beautiful harbour. My room facing the old Kai Tat airport and just fantastic. Will surely come back to stay when I visit HK again

The stay was fantastic. I want to mention how amazing the housekeeper Apple, has been during my stay at Hyatt. I was working in my hotel room and she wad flexible enough to adapt to my working schedule when cleaning my room. The room was spotless, fresh towels and room amenities. Even though I barely spoke chinese, she went out of her way to help me with everything I needed. Apple, I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for everything.

After many travels and countries, I found myself in paradise, which I really don’t want to part with. In Hong Kong I was greeted by the Hyatt Centric. Hotel and this is the best hotel that this densely populated city has. The room captivated me and captivated me, the stunning view and comfort, which has everything including a coffee machine. The fantastic pool and fitness area on the top floor overlooking the harbor is a delight. And all of the above is not the best thing about the hotel!!! The real comfort and atmosphere of royal life is created by the people who work at Hyatt Centrik. Touching, reverent and attentive attitude. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the attention of Myra, a beautiful and very kind girl who did everything possible to make my vacation one of the best in my life. And of course, real men Nick and Eric, who satisfy all your whims and make your dreams come true. Nick, thank you for the opportunity to have a wonderful time at the hotel. Myra, I love you for your energy and willingness to help 😘

Location is great as there are tons of food options just off the streets around the hotel. MTR station and shopping mall right about the corners. Some shopping and very nice restaurants are in the same building as well. Room is compact and comfortable with a harbour view, it is very bright during the daytime. Bathroom is a little small it might be difficult for bigger size people. There is a rooftop pool it is super nice to spend your afternoon there. Room service is decent, foods are fresh. However, it looks like the hotel building is very new and the businesses inside the building arent fully opened yet and some are still under construction.

Location was great, you can take subway, bus or tram, only few minutes walk. The room was a little small but it had a fantastic view. Overall it was good, the room was clean.

  • 5/5 Ken L. 11 months ago on Google
The hotel is great and really close to the subway. It is a little farther from most of the touristy areas in Hong Kong but since the subway is so close it really doesn't matter to us. The staff is great and the rooms have great views of the harbor. The back side of the hotel has views of the harbor as well. A shopping mall is attached to the hotel as well.

Had a very enjoyable time staying at Hyatt hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. Although on the pricier end but worth it. I had the ocean view and it was magnificent to wake up to.

The ambience and decor gave it a good city hotel vibe. Walking distance to the tram making it ideal to catcha quick ride towards Victoria Harbor or even Quarry Bay. Rooms a well laid out and large for Hong Kong standards. Would recommend

The hotel was absolutely amazing! We stayed at the harbour view deluxe room on level 21! We had the 360 degree view of the harbour. The room is so clean, the bathroom is a highlight with all European fixtures. The breakfast buffet had a variety of food. We bought the lounge pass which gave us the option of having a light meal at night. The service at the hotel is top notched! They were super nice and helpful! Thank you Hyatt Centric for creating a memorable stay for us! We thoroughly enjoy it!

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Victoria for 2 of nights during my stay in Hong Kong and it was truly incredible! This hotel was so modern and in a great area that I could definitely recommend it to anyone! I stayed in one of their King Harbour view rooms and the view was incredible! Waking up every morning to the incredible Hong Kong skyline had been a dream of mine for so long and I made that come true here at the Hyatt! The hotel itself is located in North point, which is a very beautiful area of the city and one you should definitely check out! The hotel itself is located right off the Blue MTR line and can easily be reached in less than 1 hour from the airport. I loved this hotel so much because from the moment I walked in the staff was incredibly friendly and I was even able to check into my room several hours early! They also have a cool program called "Explore North Point" which is available to all the guests and it essentially a n interactive guide to the surrounding area and gives you tickets that you can redeem at many different restaurants in the area! I did the entire guide and loved it! They also have an amazing infinity pool and fitness center! Nit to mention an amazing rooftop bar/ restaurant called Cruise! The room itself was also very spacious, incredibly modern, and the bathroom was extremely comfortable. I hope to make it back here one day, truly a great place to call home when in the city!

Hyatt Centric’s location and it’s view has really made an impression to us. Upon check in, the staff helped us by providing a map with details on where to eat and drink, the best photo spots and nearby temples. There were even vouchers that we can use to try the popular food stores. The view is so beautiful day and night. You can really see everything without obstruction. We also tried their dinner buffet and the selection of food is just right. We got to try most of it and I want to highlight that their seafood is the best I’ve ever tasted. The raw meat of the fish and crabs, lobsters were sweet and even without flavoring, you’ll be able to enjoy it. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Ms. Andeep and Ms. Myna for the warm accommodation and going the extra mile to assist us.

Great hotel for a business trip. Breakfast is really good with a wide selection. Infinity pool on roof has a great harbor view and there is a decent gym. The surrounding area is very local and there are lot of good, reasonably-priced dining options nearby.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel after leaving my birthplace Hong Kong for 4-year-time. We got a room with excellent skyline view and a sunrise view. The hotel infused with a lot of Hong Kong local culture with international insight and advanced to a next level. We had our buffet for dinner and breakfast in the Farm House and I recommended the breakfast buffet. My best recommended dish is the black truffle scrambled egg is freshly made by the chef. The hotel is located next to the MTR station and surrounded by newly developed shopping malls in North Point.

This Hotel is actually quite good to catch by just going via MTR into town. The hotel is mainly located at first floor and above. The rooms are fine, no complaints, no surprises. The breakfast service is superb. Top tier, multinational breakfast. Overall this hotel is a clear recommendation.

Great facilities & conveniently located next to Harbour point malls. Beautiful views from the gym and pool. Breakfast buffet at the Farmhouse restaurant & dinner buffet at hyatt lounge had great selection and attentive staff. Love the little cards saying that you’re still using the dining table, very convenient for solo guest!

The marketing team of this hotel definitely needs to get their act together as I have no idea how beautiful this hotel is and from the internet/website - this hotel looked like a boring 3 star hotel though it is 5 stars. We were so surprised at the amenities and as well as the quality of the rooms. It is new and clean and very well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the staff were helpful. With plenty of restaurants in the hotel and surrounding the immediate areas of the hotel, the location couldn’t be better - for the price of course it cannot be beat. The gym and the swimming pool is definitely the best part of this hotel.

The hotel has the best harbor view ever. The whole place looks really clean, and the staff is very helpful. I went to the check-in desk and asked if they had an adapter we could borrow. Later, they sent the housemaid to bring it to us right after we got to our room. That was really fast, and we were very happy about it. The room was really clean, and they had a strong hair dryer. I’m really happy with this hotel. It was easy to access because it’s very close to the train station, just a 3 to 5-minute walk.

My stay was a few months ago but I’ll leave a review cuz it’s so-so. They gave us the wrong room and we had to wait for quite some time. In the right room, there was coffee stain on one of the mugs and a used tissue in the rubbish bin… I think the most important thing for hotels these days is be strict with maintaining their cleanliness. Half of me regretted booking a room here. Staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet tasted better than the lunch buffet.

Modern hotel but rooms are quite small. Especially the bathroom. Also no sheer curtains on windows. Just black out shutters. Clean.

  • 1/5 Aki N. 2 years ago on Google
The room size is way too small than I thought when I first came to this hotel. I can say it is the worst one I have ever tried. I mean the view and atmosphere is good but the service is really not worth for its price. I paid for $1300 for a small size room only!! AND we waited for 2hrs to check in (from 3:30 to 5:30pm). I am gonna go one more time (and maybe the last time this Oct). I HOPE the service would be good as I paid for this much. Please fix itttt

  • 2/5 Jason L. 2 years ago on Google
The views and facilities were good, but experience was already ruined by the long queues at check in (1 hours wait). The hotel is not making any efforts to correct this or compensate.

  • 3/5 Alice L. 2 years ago on Google
Facility is reasonable. However, it's my first bad experience with a hotel of which I booked a 3-person room & told me at check-in that the extra person charges only covered the toiletries but not a seperate bed with linens 😡😡😡 I need to argue with them for a normal arrangement. Very unacceptable and no apology at all.

Very good hotel in North Point but not as excellent as the other in TST of the same group. This hotel allows dogs and pets. Was full of people and families during our visit. Swimming pool is great but you have to book it or go early morning. Breakfast buffet is ok. Asian dishes are the best.

One star for clean room and some friendly staffs. I understand the company needs to make profit but it doesn’t mean the COVID-19 measures are no longer to be enforced. It is a terrific experience to stay in a roof top infinity pool with infinite swimmers.

It is pleasure to see someone greeting you in smile. I am so upset that the girl in front desk is in long face. The facility is new and tidy.

Fairly new hotel and running great after changed to Hyatt Management. If you are looking for a 4 or 4.5 stars hotel around Hong Kong Island, 5 mins walk to the ferry to Kwun Tong or Hung Hom, also 5 mins walk to the nearest underground/tube station, North Point, good restaurants, infinity rooftop pool, there you go! Recommended. Worth it!

Room: Corner King Deluxe The room was stunning with wonderful amenities. The hotel is across the road to North Point MTR station with plenty of restaurants and shops within the vicinity. Check-in staff: Anthony Compliments to Anthony for the great service and help with my questions.

Nice Hotel in North Point Check-in took 36 minutes! (Queue 31 min, desk 5 min) Check-out: > Quick if credit card deposit > Also a queue if cash deposit (1,000) In-hotel Buffet Restaurant (Long Queue) "The Farmhouse" (Nice views) Room (Nice) Staff (Nice) Service Requests (As expected)

The room it self was nice. Service - absolutely none. Awful, rude, unhelpful. Cruise Restaurant - excellent food, good service. Clearly the saving grace and only redeeming quality about the hotel. I will come back but only for Cruise.

Nice roof top Cruise Bar! Stunning view if weather is wonderful 😊. Too froggy today! One star away as the only chip available is so awful. Just poor quality and cheap 🥲

  • 5/5 Stacey 2 years ago on Google
Great stay! Conveniently located next to the MTR and shopping centers. The staff are friendly and quick to help with any issues. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets taste like heaven. There are wonderful black-out curtains that make 6am feel like the inside of a cave. Nicely stocked WC amenities and call service for anything you may have forgotten. No complaints to offer.

Stayed in the corner suite, fantastic view both inside the room and bathroom. Air-conditioning, sound insulation, cleanness and bedding were great for us. But need to beware that the windows are not unidirectional glass, everything in the room will be crystal clear from outside.

Modern and stylish hotel sat in a shopping mall with restaurants and shops. Great place for a holiday or getaway, both. Also, it is a dog friendly hotel with facilities (including separate lifts, walking areas, and dog cafes) for your furry family / friends.

Hong Kong is known for its beautiful view of the city scrapers and the harbour between the island and the mainland. Honestly, the room shows the other side of HK so well, and the hotel is very new and good :) It had really good breakfast and dinner seafood buffet. Rooftop pool is very impressive as well!

  • 4/5 Catsi C. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed for a week during a work trip and it is a recommendable Hotel to rest if you are visiting around North Point. The Train and Bus stations is a few walk away making it near to any part of the City. The rooms are spacious enough with a skyscraper view of the harbour. The reservation comes with an unlimited breakfast buffet that is served from 6:30am until 10:30. There is a variety of food choices from Chinese to Western dishes. Healthy options are also available if you are keen to your diet. It is also connected to a Mall complete with restaurants and shops. Amenities includes a rooftop pool that shares the same floor with the Gym.
