Nice hotel good service, but unfortunately not for the older travelers. To gain access to the foyer you have to climb an 8 percent grade hill. Its not a great distance but unless you have a taxi drop you off it requires a fair bit of effort to climb. With or without your luggage. The hotel make no effort to help you up the hill if you have to lug your bags up. Other than that problem not a bad place to stay.

Disappointed by the hotel: 1) Poor sound isolation. Can hear neighbors talking, people yelling in the street, doors banging in the corridor. Woke up at 5 AM due to this... 2) I intended to book double-sized bed, but got two single beds standing next to each other (which was uncomfortable). The staff didn't ask for my preference.

Stayed here for a few nights for friends wedding few minutes walk from the venue. Easy access to everything with the hotel being near good bars and food locations. Hotel room itself was wonderful with the modern twist. The room was very clean and had fresh fruit and chocolate nut bar, bed large size and very comfortable. Bathroom has it's usual accessories and a hairdryer built-in the hand drawer. Only downside, which is not the hotels fault was the steep hill climb up to hotel. Which i can see being a problem for elderly and wheelchair bound people. Overall Excellent. Wished I had the time to try the hotel food. Looked great

ADVANTAGES: - location: walking distance to the metro station and promenade, shops availabilty nearby - cleanliness (rooms cleaned every day, clean corridors) - fridge in the room and kettle - size of the room - it was spacious DISADVANTAGES: - 1 week after leaving the hotel the deposit is still not back and the hotel is not replying! - for me too noisy air conditioning that woke me up at night - very basic staff service (don't expect too much) - daily problems with the room key to activate the elevator were frustrating

Service is extremely poor. Impolite receptionist who does not handle matters flexibly, as they would not allow my partner to check in first even with the confirmation letter. Hotline of Agoda is never available and there is no help on the app either. The worst service and experience ever, and will never pay a second visit for sure. Good luck to all future visitors.

I stayed at Stanford Hillview Hotel with my daughter for nearly two weeks and we had a great experience! PROS: First of all, the pictures that were presented were exactly as is in person. Secondly, the room we stayed in was very spacious and clean, and it came with 2 free bottles of water every time housekeeping was done. Thirdly, the staff showed great hospitality and were friendly whenever we interacted with them. Lastly, there is easy access to transportation (e.g., MTR, taxi), malls, and restaurants. CONS: The drawbacks of the hotel are pretty minimal. Like other reviewers, there is a steep hill to get to the hotel lobby on Observatory Road, but you can skip those extra step of stairs and enter through B1 (parking) but it does close around the evening time. Secondly, our 2-week long stay hotel package only consisted of 2 days of housekeeping a week which we were unaware of due to miscommunication, however, Andy at the front desk was able to compromise and honour us with housekeeping everyday. Thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay in HK! This has been the best hotel we stayed at the 4 times we came back in the last 9 years.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in room 1209 in December 2023. The room was big, clean and seemed recently modernized. Staff was friendly and professional. There really isn't anything to complain about at all. Would always stay here again.

The hotel is located at the end of a steep slope. If you are using google and see the shortest walk to the hotel, you are going via the steep slope. Also the front desk agent was not welcoming and i can tell that she was judgmental even though she donโ€™t say it. I know we are Asian and spoke some Chinese, but we are not from China. Singaporean get mis-recognize most of the time when we are overseas. But as a front desk agent, they are not suppose to judge guests. Also I placed my roomโ€™s DND light on, however they still went in the room to clean the room. I donโ€™t understand what is the purpose of the DND light then. Now to talk about the pros, the doorman was helpful. They replenish the room with 2 bottles of water everyday along with the bathroom supplies. I think if you are traveling as a young couple, i think the experience might be better as there are a lot of bars next to the hotel.

Location-wise itโ€™s in the middle of TST and Jordan MTR station, so pretty convenient but need to walk about 10 mins to either station. The hotel is also on hilltop and the slope is steep; donโ€™t recommend if you have heavy luggage or need to use wheelchair etc. The building itself is pretty old and I would say facility and cleanliness is more like a motel standard. There is no daily room cleaning service; we got bitten by bugs on bed and had to tell frontdesk to send someone to replace all beddings. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again when i visit HK next time

Checked in and room was nice. Unfortunately I was in a hurry so I dropped my bags off and left. After returning I noticed that there was a heavy smell of smoke in the room. They had given me a smoking room, although on my res I had booked non-smoking. Thought HK was smoke free? They did nothing to help and said they couldnโ€™t do anything due to jot having anymore rooms. No offer of compensation or anything. I had a terrible night and will it stay at a Stanford hotel ever again. I come to Hong Kong often.

Location is very good. Very close to malls , 7*11 stores , cafes, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR B2 exit , lively Nathan road...just that one has to take a very steep road to the hotel.they don't have bell boy service..no cafe ,restaurant , swimming pool in hotel...oak room size was not very large..they take 1000 HKD as a refundable security deposit at the time of check in...overall service is fine...can definitely consider if you are looking just for stay at a good location at less expensive option as per Hongkong standards. Has few Indian restaurants nearby. Victoria harbour is also not very far from here.

Decided to book this hotel after read through most hotels reviews' in TST area, stayed for 3 nights (18-21Nov). Strongly recommended this newly renovated hotel located at a quiet street of TST. It's truly beyond my expectation. It's my 6th visits to HK and this is the best ever hotel I had stayed. Check in: deposit is require and this can be lock using credit card. Check in is quick, staff are friendly too. My HK friend dropped a document to the front desk a day before for me to collect upon check in, the process oeformed smoothly & the frontdesk staff did record it systematically in a logbook. Room: Our room in 4th floor is spacious, bathroom is also reasonable sized. Room is modern, sparkling clean and very comfortable. Beautiful street view / sunrise from our big window panel. House keeping: If you do not require towels to be changed everyday, can inform housekeeping like what we did. 2 bottles of free water has been provided everyday. In room slipper has been provided as well. Bathroom: Standing shower water pressure is strong, towels are clean, shampoo & shower gel & hair dryer are also available. A small drawback which not really bother us much is stains found on the shower curtain. Location: if you are from airport, take A21 and stop at Kimberley Road bus station, walk about 500m to reach the hotel. along the street, there are many eateries. We only tried Lok Tin cafe's HK style breakfast, it's cheap and taste great (open at 7.30am, good stop before heading to MTR station for airport express transit). Wellcome supermarket is just 100m away conveniently for grab some snacks, drinking water, fruits when on the way walking back to hotel. Kowloon Park is within walking distance, we walked to the park for morning jogging, fantastic park! Upon checkout, we told the frontdesk staff that we love our stay with Stanford Hillview very much & he welcome us warmly for next return trip.

Fair size and clean room. Bottled water and bath shampoo are replaced daily. You can borrow iron for your clothes. There's a lot of bars nearby. It's a bit of walking to station.

No amenities at all. No food utensils anything. The hill is too steep. Uncomfortable if you have luggage and the hotel provides no help. No bell boy. Rooms were clean but very tiny.

Pretty good hotel! Clean, calm with helpful staff. Near a bar street, ~10 minutes away by foot to the nearest metro station and 2-3 minutes away from a super market. Their breakfast buffet was pretty decent as well, loved the fruit. That being said, I've been to places with a larger variety, not that this was bad at all.

Nice hotel, reasonably good service. Location is up a very steep hill which can be awkward with luggage. Room was nice modestly sized. Air conditioning units are old and subsequently quite loud which is problematic if you're a light sleeper. Shower was great but the shelf was too small. Didn't try the bar/restaurant but did sit in the hidden rooftop space which could be really nice with a little love.

Really nice rooms with good location and everything you need. They really put attention to details. The bed is super comfy and good size. The wifi was fast and good coverage. The bathroom was also very big for Hong Kong. The only thing I would improve was the lighting in the bathrooms for shaving or makeup.

Best in service and quality. The prices are pretty affordable in this 4 star hotel in Tsim Tsai Su area in Hong Kong. Located near the national observatory of Hong Kong all the nearby attractions are easily accessible. Whatever is promised online is delivered. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Room service is quick and efficient. Staff is well behaved and educated. 5 star service in the 4 star rating. Must stay here to feel like a king in middle class budget. I never go to any other hotel after staying here once.
