Very attentive staff. They are well trained and knowledgeable. The lobby and check-in areas are spotless with nice deco. Room is very clean with good lighting and also good blackout curtain. Although the room is a little small, but for the price I paid for, its well worth it. I have a standard room with plenty of amenities available specially great for someone like me whose doing the 14days quarantines.

Situated at an excellent location, the hotel have some rooms that offer spectacular sea view. The hotel has its own mall which is not particularly impressive. Nonetheless, the Gateway Tower mall is just five-minutes walk away and it’s awesome.

I have been staying here several times over the past few years, last stay was 12 nights in June. Hotel is located above China Hong Kong City 中港城, which is both a shopping mall and a ferry terminal with services to Chinese cities in the Pearl River Delta. As such, there are A LOT of Mainland Chinese guests. Location is excellent, a short walk past the fire station and the Xiqu Centre leads you to Austin station. Quite a walk in the opposite direction for Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station exit A, along Haiphong Road. The hotel is near, though not directly linked, to Harbour City. There is a direct walkway to Kowloon Park. I booked a Pacific Grand room for the king bed and the space. The room is rather dated, but maintained and cleaned well. Housekeeping starts around 9am. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi was strong and stable. Water pressure was good. Separate shower and bath. Plenty of hot water. I appreciated the Nespresso machine and the electric kettle. Slept very well throughout my stay. Staff were courteous and efficient. I can't help feeling sorry for them, having to constantly deal with rude behaviour from guests of a certain country. Had breakfast once at the Pierside restaurant. Breakfast service is from 6.30 to 10.30 am. Go early to beat the crowds, and also to secure a table by the windows. Somewhat blocked views of Victoria Harbour. Decent, but not great, breakfast buffet selection. Do head out on the promenade for amazing views! There is a taxi rank in the basement. The concierge can call up a taxi to the hotel entrance, for a HKD 5 fee. Highly recommend this hotel, and I look forward to returning!

The room was nice. It's not too spacious but it's not cramped. Got a great view of the very busy Canton Road from my room window. And the breakfast buffet is amazing.

I made a reservation and tried changing the dates since I choose the incorrect ones. I was simply trying to rebook-even if that meant paying a difference-but the hotel refused and took my money without any room for discussion. Given this experience, I highly recommend any travelers to avoid staying here. The way they handled this situation speaks volumes about their focus on collecting fees rather than on properly serving their clients. A one night reservation fee will cost them a customer for life. To the administration, i would had no problem in incurring higher costs to move my dates. But the money grab you showcased is embarrassing for such large hotel.

Quarantine here for 7days. The room is old, dirty, stains everywhere and not well maintained. Food is unappetizing, what a waste of food. However, staff are friendly and very helpful when we complained about the cleaningness of the room.

Room size is spacious, service is good, plenty water bottles provided, however one of the two giant windows is foggy, the quarantine meals are good and bad! In general it is ok for 3 days quarantine.

I was a bit nervous on I was on my way to this hotel for my 7-day mandatory quarantine stay. I was anxious as I saw the critical reviewers posted by other confinees and also the mere fact that I am travelling alone and subject to the uncertainty and risk of test and infection throughout my journey. I booked this hotel as they continue to supply room whist many other gov-designated hotels are not even willing to answer phone calls. Ms Ma and others have been very helpful during the stage that I tried to place the booking and offered max flexibility. My check-in process has been smooth and I have absolutely nothing to complain. The staff (a gentleman wear protective gears) helped me with the luggage every step in the way until I entered the elevator to my floor when I arrived last night around 1 am. These people are still working around the clock and the kitchen offered us a warm late night meal. The check in lady at the desk was very warm and nice as well. When I arrived at my room, the place was comfortable, clean, spacious with a nice view to see the busy street in Canton Rd (Garden side, I think). I am finally relieved and I feel nothing but grateful. These hardworking people also have family, they get tired and they are also concerned about exposure to infection. Yet I can see that they have done their best to make us feel safe, welcomed and comfortable. I don't know their names but I want to say thank you to them if I have the chance. And I would say that the HK government has done a great job at the airport despite the complicated steps of testing, issuing compulsory order, obtaining results and going to the quaratine hotels. Personally I want to thank the many people who work late and energetically at the airport to make sure travellers are properly tested and taken to their hotel locations. I feel grateful that I live and work in this great city.

Until this hotel proves that it has listened to the countless guests all complaining about the same thing—this hotel is old, dirty, and over-priced—I would stay away. Definitely not worth the stress of walking into a disgusting, unclean room with mould, dust, and hair everywhere, plus a very small, red bug that looked dangerously like a bed bug. I had booked a higher class room for quarantine—they put me in a downgraded room that felt like being inside a dirty beer glass. The audacity of trying to dump one of the hotel's worst rooms (and on a club floor no less) on an unsuspecting guest, that had booked a space of 35m2 NOT the 22m2 I was given, was the nail in this hotel's coffin for me. Which is a shame, because the staff are really nice, and do their best. (Shout out to duty manager Tommy, whose service recovery was impeccable—you're five star, Tommy.) There are so many good hotels out there—don't waste your money on this one. The pictures on the website look nothing like the reality. Stay away, quarantine or otherwise.

The hotel is very roomy to be honest, the staffs are super nice and friendly, very polite. This is why I gave 5 stars. Only one thing needed to point out is the carpet in the room was abit old and mouldy, there was some stains on it. Hopefully you guys would improve that!

A smart hotel, very well placed above the ferry terminal, with efficient staff. The room was tidy with an excellent coffee maker. The breakfast buffet was of good quality, with a wide variety of food. The room, with a harbour view was a little limited in its view. However, I'd recommend it.

7 days hotel quarantine with Royal Pacific Hotel in July 2022. I had just spent 7 days and 6 nights (compulsory hotel quarantine) in a Premier Plus Room with the Royal Pacific Hotel, Hong Kong. Everyone who I had come in contact with during the stay was very professional and helpful (during check in and check out as well as the staff who answered my multiple phone enquiries). They answered the phone immediately and they took their time in explaining the rules of quarantine and that to me was very important. The room and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel supplied ample amount of quality cleaning products and toiletries; water and beverages. Meals (20 of them altogether) were always delivered on time and the quality of food was above my expectation. They also provided snacks almost on a daily basis. Much appreciated. Other positives: Wifi was fast. Bed was comfortable. The work desk was very useful. Water pressure was always high. I understand lots of potential travellers to Hong Kong are dreading about the hotel quarantine process and I was one of them. Royal Pacific Hotel had made my quarantine stay much less stressful. Thanks again for all the extra care and the professionalism.

Good location and room size is decent for being in a central area. Lobby is great too. Concierge is very reliable in helping me with luggages. The only reason for 3 stars is the tall guy at the front desk who was unprofessional and rude to me. I inquired about a package that included an afternoon tea service and while I understand the package was not booked through the hotel, he was very impatient and condescending in his response. This is not the level of professionalism I expect from a four-star hotel.

really nice hotel with a comfy bed. however, the shampoo, hand wash and conditioner cases were really inconvenient and i needed to use much more force to get some shampoo than the average shampoo bottle. overall, great job in making my experience more enjoyable!

It is very prime and convenient location in Kowloon, well connected to major transportation means, Kowloon Station to the airport, West Kowloon Station high speed train to China, ferry pier to mainland China is right down on the same building complex. MTR city lines and the Star Ferry are within walking distance. The Lobby floor accesses to the Pier Park this beautiful views of the harbour and the West Kowloon, and it is connected to the Kowloon Park - the biggest city park, recreational complex in Kowloon. The rooms are a bit dated but still well maintained and reasonable clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful 👍

Room is small which is understandable because it is Hong Kong. But we could not sleep over midnight since a couple from very next room argued for more than an hour. We asked a duty manager to handle it. But the answer was they are not able to shut them up and asked us if we wanted to change the room at midnight. Poor soundproof room and incompetent staff.

Wonderful stay in this hotel, standard hotel size for Hong Kong. Rooms were clean and on point. Only issue was a lag of wall plugs on one side of the bed, but it's a small hassle to deal with. Location wise, it was abit far off either Austin or tsim sha tsui mtr, about 10mins walking. No late night food within 5mins walk, closest was at tsim sha tsui. But by night you'd be full after eating hk food so that wasn't an issue.

Good quarantine hotel in Hong Kong. Good food and service, the room is a bit dated. No views from the room, the shower is badly designed. The bathroom also had a disgusting smell.

This is a very nice friendly hotel. Before I come to stay in Royal pacific hotel, I already got questions to ask them thru email. They do reply me in a timely manner. And when we arrive early in the hotel, they already assist us to check in and even help out how to use the phone to download all the necessary documents for the HK government. Then we go straight to the hotel. There is a nice big filter in the corner of the room, which already filter any airborne transmission. People saying the room is so small? Is that really small? My picture already shows we are able to put out 2 luggages and even hallway for us to do the jogging in the room. And this is just a regular room. And people complaining about food portion is small, only good for woman, unless you eats more than 10 dishes in a buffet restaurant, or else is more than enough, sometimes they even have snacks and desserts at night. My tummy don't even have any space for my bring along snacks at all. During my stay, whenever I have questions, I just need to whatsapp them, and they reply you very quickly, I would say the most I ever wait for their reply is less than 30 minutes. Also, inside the room, they got all the sanitary cleaners, wipes and masks for you. They have the rapid test kits for you too. People mention the fridge is not cold enough, but in fact, it is cold enough but of course it will take more than half a day, you can feel all your drinks are cold enough. Overall experience, I do recommend this hotel and will be staying in this hotel in the near future.

5 stars to the staff, 4.5 stars to cleanness, 3 stars to the hotel hardware and facility. Staff and service: I stayed in the family deluxe room at the Tower Wing for 7-day quarantine. All staff I encountered have been working very hard to ensure a smooth stay to their guests, they are very polite and responsive to requests. I ordered delivery sometimes and they were delivered to room very timely. overall I would rate 5 stars to the staff and service. Cleanness: the hotel is very old, but clean. My room, bathroom and bed are clean so I find comfort during the stay. Room: Sino Group should seriously consider renovate and upgrade the whole hotel, the premise is very old with style like late 1980 or 90s, hardware and facility are quite aged. Lights are very dim and very hard to read at night. Wall is so thin you can hear voice from next room. Food: from reasonable and basic necessities perspective (afterall it's quarantine), in the meal box provided, I find the balance from dietary perspective and the food taste actually not bad at all. Quantity is good for girls, maybe not enough for big guys.

Very spacious room and huge bathroom, which exceed expectation. Staff is super! Friendly, helpful, willing to deliver services always.. from the point when I first made the room reservation. I have stayed for the purpose of quarantine policy by the government for overseas visitors. I can feel the details about the hygienic care and arrangements from the hotel which is essential during this pandemic. For sure, Royal Pacific Hotel will become one of my to choose list for other purposes in the future and will surely recommend to others. Thanks lot for your efforts!

Stayed with family during quarantine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room big and fairly clean. Food was a big let down, had to order from outside most of the time.

7-day quarantine stay (park view room), archaic regulations but not the fault of the hotel of course. The team made my stay as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible. The food provided was excellent, they provided 6 different choices for every meal (chinese/western/indian vegetarian/gluten-free/low-carb/etc) and this selection was done beforehand so guests would have plenty of options and not have to undertake any unpleasant surprises. The soups were especially heartwarming, every single bowl of soup felt like it came with a homemade touch and did not feel like something that came from a pre-made broth. In addition, I found it especially thoughtful that the hotel also did its part to minimize plastic waste. Many hotels (and people) in HK are still really uptight over the virus which in many ways promotes the use of single-use plastics, but RPH provided a set of metal cutlery and large bottles of toiletries which certainly helped to minimize plastic waste without compromising on hygiene standards. Wifi worked fine. Some minor issues occasionally but generally worked well without the need to re-login every x hours. Cleanliness was up to par too, even though it seems from other reviews that this might be something more erratic, but I found it to be acceptable. Plenty of space by (HK standards) to place exercise equipment and get some indoor workouts done. Front desk staff were pleasantly courteous and displayed very competent levels of English. All in all a rather comfortable and pleasant stay. To be honest I didn't quite mind staying indoors for a week when the temperature outside was a steaming 37 degrees Celsius.

I got the Premier Plus Queen Room for quarantine because it was the only one available with a desk so I can work remotely. Wish I would’ve paid more for one with ocean view because I can see from the reflection of another building my room is facing that the view is quite nice. I had an issue with a connecting flight into HK so my arrival was delayed by 1 day. Reservations although at first said they may not have rooms left to accommodate me and there may be a penalty, in the end they were able to amend my reservation quickly, which I really appreciate. But the girl on the phone could've sounded a bit more sympathetic. Reservation line only opens at 8am. The check in process was fast and easy. And concierge can be reached by phone, Whatsapp or Wechat. The room is a decent size for HK standards and clean. Desk is bigger than expected and the bed is comfortable, which are the most important criteria for my quarantine. Food is just ok but treats are given almost everyday, which is nice, and they allow food delivery. Sound insulation is pretty good since I've never heard noises from other guests and I'm a very light sleeper. Now onto a few things that can be improved: - The rubber on the height adjuster for the shower bar is coming apart, so the shower handle can't stay in place, a bit annoying. The cleaner would've definitely seen it, and should've been replaced or fixed for the price we're paying for the rooms. - Once you choose your meals through an online system at the beginning of your stay, it can't be amended, which is annoying. I've stayed at another quarantine hotel before and I could always amend the meals the day before in case I change my mind. - I purposely didn't order breakfast on Saturday to sleep in. Yet they still knocked on my door to wake me up in the morning, and when I opened the door, there is no food! This is really bad service and could've been easily avoided, since the staff could've easily seen that there's no food on the chair in front of my room door that he/she knocked on! - The toilet paper rolls are too big for the holders, so the first 10 times using it is a pain cuz you can't roll it. Just get smaller rolls and more of them. - Only paper cups are provided (no mugs or glasses) and no cotton swabs. - Trash can only be taken out from 3-3:30pm, a bit arbitrary and inconvenient since it's working hours and I literally have to set an alarm to throw out the trash. The other quarantine hotel I stayed at allowed us to leave it out late at night or before 10am in the morning, which is much more natural to do. All in all, it's a decent hotel to stay in for quarantine when there are so little options in the summer, but some small adjustments could make it great.

We lived here as quarantine hotel. The room is clean. The service was sweet and comfortable. we received small gifts everyday such as manual neck massage tools, a plant to grow in an egg, throat soother etc. The charge is reasonable. The staff reacted to service whatsapp requests fast and with courtesy. We sometimes ordered deliveroo and the delivery by the hotel was very quick.
