The lobby and base floors were actually nice but the rooms weren’t at all. I walked in my room and sat down on the bed only to find there were two reddish-orange stains on the blankets, that were WET. I honestly have no idea what they were, but I assume it was probably soup from some kind of food. I called room service because it seemed that the sheets hadn’t been cleaned. While I was waiting for them to come to my room I noticed a bunch of black and brown smudges/dots all over the bed and pillows. A staff came in and inspected the sheets, only to say that it was just “how they were cleaned”. I told her to explain why there were fresh red, WET stains on the sheets and she just brushed it off and gave me a new change of sheets and pillowcases. While she was there I asked about something else I noticed, which was that I couldn’t use any of the charging outlets. She AGAIN brushed it off and gave a vague answer that the “hotel was dated” and “didn’t have modern charging outlets”, then told me if I was that bothered to just buy a charging bank. She left and slammed the door. Back to the topic of the rooms, the wallpaper ALL OVER every inch of the walls were visibly peeling, and yellow. There was an AWFUL smell in the bathroom near the bathtub, and I honestly don’t even know how to describe the smell because I haven’t smelled anything like it before, but it was putrid. The TV remotes were wrapped in these plastic covers, which was probably an attempt to make it more cleanly but it probably just makes it filthier because it was covered in dust, brown and yellow smudges, and these weird black dots which were probably mold. The only reason I’m not giving this a one star is because of the base floors being nicer and the close proximity to an MTR station.

Stayed in this hotel for 7-day quarantine. I would say it is more or less 2 stars hotel than 4 that they claimed. Very old and not clean. Room is dusty and floor is dirty. Very bare minimum for 7 days. Internet also is extremely slow. Be aware!

Cancelled my reservation due to 'invalid payment method', didn't contact me piror, no communication whatsoever, at least let me know so I can try call the bank or use a different credit card? straight up cancelled my room. Didn't realize untill i checked my bank transactions. Emailed them about this, week later? no replies. Had to scramble to book another one. Never seen such disregard for guests from a hotel, very unprofessional.

I stayed in this hotel for a 7-day quarantine. The room was horrible and was nothing like the images on the website. The telephone was wrapped in cling film. I was really excited for this stay but not anymore as I opened the room door. I understand that I might be living in some backup/unused room as lots of people was coming to Hong Kong and had to quarantine. But still, I could have gotten a notice before coming to the hotel. Overall, my impressions to this hotel is not good. I just wish it could be better in many ways!

although the lobby looks so modern, the room is worn down. Everything is so old that I felt uncomfortable. The toilet is not clean, I can even find a hair on the toilet seat! I checked out in the same day I checked in, never ever again

Worst hotel I've stayed at, in Hong Kong. Many roaches in the room, staff never answers phone, way overpriced for the lowest level service. TV so old, and cannot connect to internet because they bolted it to the wall so you can't access the network port to plug it in. Basically a jail cell you pay to stay in.

Unsafe, Unhygienic, USD$1800 Tl;dr A scam and a fraud. No way a 4 star hotel. Decades old ventilation, malfunctioning facilities and cheap services. I’d sue for defaming the city if I run the tourism body. Unsafe: Some hotel staff broke into my room while I was asleep with Do Not Disturb on. Straight up banging at my door, woke me from my sleep, and without permission barged right in. Upon questioning insisted it was protocol, and quote security reason. Quality of service aside, makes you wonder what usually happens to guests here. Unhygienic: My whole floor smelled like mould. The entire ventilation smelled like mould. The final couple of days bugs started appearing everywhere. Window, table, pillows, my face. Stayed out for 4 days, during which a room cleaning opportunity happens (there’s only once a week). Came back to 40 dead bugs on the windowsill. Service: Was initially given a room with an air con stuck below 18 degrees directed straight at my head. Raised the issue and was told they will perform some construction that “will make things dirty” while I’m present. Rejected that twice and they downgraded me to the smaller room next door. They discriminate between long and short staying guests. I’ve stayed with them before, things weren’t fancy but they worked. During this 30day stay, drainage, air con, hygiene, nothing worked (some never did) without asking for it. Ended up checking out early and asked for compensation on the whole series of issues. They said was they will upgrade me on my next visit. I laughed at the absurdity.

I booked this hotel through Agoda. The hotel staff was very cooperative and the location was also good. It was near to the Metro Station and bus stop. There was a shopping market at the hotel. Hotel was very neat and clean, and the rooms were of decent size. Though the hotel hotel promise to provide drinking water, but generally directly to provide drinking water, even if you require it. So better carry your own water.

Very nice and clean Hotel. Family friendly. Recommended if your itinerary is more on shopping as there are a lot of shops (shoes and clothing) in the building. There are a lot of choices for food as well, local restaurants and fast food.

The hotel is quite old , bad smell in the room, the sink and shower curtain was moldy . Breakfast was good though. Staff are very poor in English. With Group booking, luggage storage after checkout was charged hk$10 per luggage ( big or small, or even small bag was counted as one). They also refuse to issue receipt for the storage payment.

As a quarantine hotel, it was quite a bad first experience with hair on the toilet floor and bread crumbs on the chair. Night duty manager Mijin immediately came and change the room for us. She's good. Second room was definitely better. The nights were okay, the food "mamadei". Allows to order delivery from 10am to 8pm, fair enough. Old hotel, what would you expect right?

The interior of the room is a bit dated and small. There is minimum service, the only time you see staff is during check-in, check-out and room cleaning. Location of hotel is a bit remote but fortunately there is a shopping mall in the same building with grocery store and a laundry shop in the same street. There is one inconvenient when living on the higher floor of this hotel, there is only 1 elevator compared to the 2 for the lower floors besides that the free internet is slower on the higher floors when I was there.

Nafeesa at the concierge was an absolute blessing - it was my first visit and she helped us sort out all the small print for parking our car in a timely manner so we can head in for a lovely Christmas celebration. Nafeesa demonstrated efficient problem solving, eagerness and initiative to help customers, and was kind, helpful and friendly to me and my family. A job super well done! You made our visit and won our loyalty - we will definitely come back over and over for this standard of service!! Thank you ☺️🙏🏻🌹

been living in panda hotel nearly a month , rooms are not good as 4 stars hotel and furnitures are old , the temperature controllers are broken as well , customer service in front desk even horrible doesn't felt like I'm a customer here. Overall, my impressions to this hotel is not bad. I just wish the service from the crew training could be more professional cause the crew represent Hong Kong also my point of view if the hotel wants being competitive in the same area has to upgrade rooms crew and services

We two elderly people are very lucky to find a four-star hotel with five-star service when we return to Hong Kong this time. When we arrived in Hong Kong before 8:00 in the morning, there was a lady at the service desk, Alison Wong, who was very professional and helped us with all the matters we needed in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In addition, we immediately arranged a room for us to rest, because we had to fly for more than ten hours. Very tired. After checking in, the service attitude of the room attendant Kelven and Wicha is very good. The driver of the hotel's service car is also very good. I will definitely choose this hotel when I go to Hong Kong in the future. The transportation is also convenient and there are many restaurants.

We spent one night at the Panda hotel. It was very pleasant. My only complaint would be that the room and even the pillows smelled a lot like old smoke... it is very unfortunate that guests still smoke inside buildings in some countries... the bedding was high quality. But for me the best was the staff assisting with the baggage when we checked out. Especially Joey. What a wonderful lady. She helped us get a shuttle for last day shopping, helped us get the bus to the airport and even took us yo the bus stop where we was to wait for the bus. She was super friendly, very professional and went over and above to assist in a crucial aspect to catch our flights on time... i loved the panda place mall, it has all I needed for the last 2 days, including some wrapping and duct tape, food and sweets... i can recommend the stay at panda hotel

I booked a room through Agoda, and upon arrival, I was informed by the counter desk that the booking name should match exactly as it appears on my passport. They requested me to contact Agoda and make the necessary amendments to ensure the name matches my passport. However, the manager was around and kind enough to assist us on the situation else we would have to sleep outside. I'm curious about the purpose of checking booking details in such cases. Since I have the e-receipt and all the necessary data that matches the hotel's system, is there a specific reason why the hotel requires the name on the passport as proof? I appreciate any clarification you can provide on this matter. Edit: Duty manager from management team was really helpful and cared to call and clarify the reason why it happened.

We were looking for four-star room for 2-nights trip. and came across this hotel in Agoda. Let summarize in the Pro and Cons following - Cheap Prize (for 4 stars hotel) -very comfortable to stay for 2 people in 22 sq.m. room - Very easy to access from Airport (several bus lines are stopping in front of hotel, from airport directly by bus A31 as far as i remember) - Location is good for dinning, shopping, BIG AEON mall is in the same building - surrounding is good, many parks, basketball court, many young people around here makes this area lively. Con - somewhat smoking smell in the room, Even we request for non-smoking. However i can see hotel try to make their best putting A LOT of air purifier in the hallway, and one in the room.

aircon not that cold, no bidet on the bathroom. buffet in the morning are eggs, fried noodles, dimsum, congee, soup and limited variety.. but the location is good considering there's a conveniece store 711, starbucks, pizza hut, a grocery and mall below the hotel... and watsons pharmacy just across the street..also mcdonalds a few blocks away..

We had very good experience staying at Panda Hotel for two weeks. We stayed at two bedrooms suite. It's very spacious and comfortable. Hotel's location is very accessible to everywhere via MTR, bus & free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. There are many choices for eateries and shopping. The hotel staff (front desk, conceirge & housekeeping) are very helpful and responsive to my enquiries. The overall experience is excellent and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come back to visit my family and friends.

Great price, lots of really good restaurants and bakeries nearby. Grocery store in the shipping complex just below the hotel was very handy as well! Only drawback is it's a 10 minute walk to the MTR but if you know how to take the bus, lots of spots closer.

This would be a great place to stay for smokers, as despite the regulations, no real enforcement is even attempted. Unfortunately, we are not smokers. That being said, we do appreciate the fact that the hotel has given up to such an extent that the most they do is to put purifiers in the corridors.

The rooms are somewhat small but for a hotel that’s expected. All the standards are met, TV, toiletries, mirror… etc. The biggest concern is how outdated the place feels. Older toilets, showers, and dating on everything and it shows. It’s acceptable and is a lot better than many other places, but far from a 5 star location. Also worthy of noting, the place has a great panda theme, and a mall in its basement. So even during rainstorms there’s places to explore and dine in. They have a gym with a rack of dumbbells and various machines (though limited) and a great outdoor pool to enjoy.

Everything you need is in this place and you can access through the lobby the nearest MTR station. Clean and comfy. Oh you should bring adapter for electric sockets for charging your gadgets.

The Panda hotel is very nice, staffs are very accommodating especially Martin. It’s clean and very accessible to any form of transportation. The food outlets are nearby like 7/11, KFC,Pizza, DIMSUM and many more, just downstairs. Highly recommended for all travelers.

One of the better hotel in the area. The restaurants are good, service has not been disappointing. The closeness to other shops and the station is a big plus. You can get confused the first time while coming from the bridge, so don't miss the turn. Overall a great experience. Love the bid panda on the side.

Access to the health club was included in the long term package, yet the hotel refused to replace gym equipment that had been out of order for several weeks. Just an appalling lack of respect to paying guests.

I have stayed at Panda Hotel for a year; it has the most convenient long stay package! The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a communal kitchen and laundry and as an added bonus the hotel has a convenient podium level that caters for all your shopping needs. All staff, concierge, restaurant, reception and cleaning are first rate and always greet you with a smile and are very courteous. Highly recommended! A special thank you to Anna for keeping my room exceptionally clean.

The room was good. The bed and pillow was really good - not too hard and not too soft, just nice, I had a very good rest. The location was superb, near to all the eatery and shopping. It was very convenient. The only thing is their counter staff, most of the time they were not friendly and impatient.

The moment I walked on the hallway I already have a bad feeling, because its dirty. Then when I entered my room, I can see biscuits crumbs on the chair, hairs in the toilet countertop, floor, carpet etc. 😮‍💨 Please take better care of the hygiene. Luckily they change room for me, but I am skeptical already and ended up disinfect and clean the other room myself. 😑 Good part is that the room is huge and they also provide air purifier in the room. The meal is not bad, mostly chinese and they send up takeout quite fast.

A few days ago I stayed at Panda Hotel. These few days were very memorable for me. The food was very good but the hotel staff was even better. They helped us a lot. Everything delivered well and on time. I am very grateful to the hotel management and especially Miss Nafeesa Kanwal from the staff. Who helped us a lot.

A good hotel in a nice location with shopping malls only a very short walk away. Tsuen Wan is a busy area with plenty to do and this hotel is not far from central Hong Kong, which is about only half an hour on the MTR. The location is also great to access Kowloon. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is good value for money. If you are not desperate to stay right in the heart of the city and want good value for money this is the place to be.

I tripped over and landed on my 5-year-old son in the lobby next to the concierge counter. We were blooding. Joey Wong immediately helped and called medical staff to come to our assistance. Toni Cheung and Kenneth were very helpful in arranging our excessive luggage in a large storage room, making it easy for us to repack the contents. We are very happy with their professional service.

😠 Its got a big company name in simplified Chinese hung on the wall which makes the whole building low class. I was told this hotel is run by a Mainland Company and I wouldn't want to stay as i worry there are hidden cameras in the room.
