Originally was going to rate higher, despite the hard mattress and several tiny flying bugs in the shower -- because the staff was friendly, the room was otherwise clean, spacious and cute, and location is great -- until we discovered upon check-out that they charge for luggage storage. Who does that?? Check out is noon, our flight isn't until 10pm, we want to walk around the city before heading to the airport, but I have to pay to have my bags sit in the lobby for a few hours? EVERY other hotel I've stayed at (dozens around the world) offers free luggage storage as a guest courtesy. Sorry, but the lack of something so simple is enough to make me want to stay elsewhere next time.

A good value for such as very nice and roomy. The location absolutely close to most shopping area and plenty of options for the restaurant and fast food places. Definitely be there again when go back to Hong Kong.

This hotel has a worst service and probably discriminates Chinese. I was given a very bad smoky smell room, I immediately asked to change but they said they would refresh, they have no capacity blabla, which is a lie. The woman at reception never came to clean the smell, and I stayed at that horrible room for hours to wait for a solution. I couldnโ€™t bear any more in the evening, the smell is so big that no one can fall asleep, good I booked via a third-party, which they provided me a no smell normal room at last. But which is fun with letting customers stay in a smoky place for hours? Lying that you would do sth?!! Shame on this hotel. It ruins the travel.

The service was horrible and the rooms were very small and dirty. I had 8 elderly people staying there and they wouldnโ€™t even help them bring luggage to their rooms. The lady at the front desk told them to do it by themselves and made them give her $500 HK money at the front desk. The rooms were tight and tiny and the curtains were dusty and ripped. They didnโ€™t give out water and when I made a call to someone inside the city using their phone it costed me $3 USD. This place was straight up horrible and I do not recommend anyone staying here, it was a disaster.

Clean, not have a restaurant inside but you can find delicious food around. Beware of the wet floor in a bathroom otherwise an elderly might get injured from this slippery. There's a night market along the alley the hotel located. Anyway, I got fake thumb drives from a shop, be careful.

Quite spacious the room with affordable price. Stay 5 nights. The location is about 500m walk distance to Yau Ma Tei ๏ผˆๆฒน้บปๅœฐ๏ผ‰MTR Station.. The hotel is opposite a Basketball court and at first the Google map unable to bring us to it and we look for it around. Nearby the hotel is the Temple street (ๅบ™่ก—๏ผ‰.. So at night there will be those stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, food.. Personally a bit disappointed because the street was not so attractive as I expect (since watch too much HK drama, expecting there will have some show/singing performance, but only business on going..)

WiFi is like tissue paper , like 1kb/s keep disconnected. Shower water is screw up , 5 sec freezing water , 5 sec boiling water , unable to maintain a normal temperature. toilets tend to flood . Service and staff is fine , the blanket does have blood stain, which I don't really care anymore .

The rooms were great the staff was amazing... And the view from the 124 was beautiful you can see the temple next door. Tommy from the cleaning crew did an amazing job along with everyone else. The AC is ice cold which is good for a Texas guy like me. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty at times but it was way better than my International roaming Internet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone coming to Hong-Kong. MTR and bus stops are right outside the Room not too far away. Basketball court right outside in front of the building... Plus right out the back door is where the street markets begin at night so when you're shopping for gifts for family it's very easy to find. It is also a very safe area to stay I had no problems even when I was out at 1 or 2:00 a.m.

Firstly, I am awed by the interior design which is so vintage. The shower is my favorite. I can just take my own sweet time showering. The water pressure & temperature is perfect. Secondly, I love the room size. It is absolutely bigger than those hotel rooms in HK. I brought 2 big luggage and we still had convenient moving space in the room. Thirdly, it is located nearby bus stops & MTR exit, and within walking distance to most happening places in Kowloon. As you walk out the back entrance, you are already at Temple st night market. Cleanliness is acceptable as there are still corners with collection of dust. Housekeepers are very helpful & friendlier. I guess, they are warmer than those front officers. However, I wonder why they do not provide facial tissue in the room. Neither could I find complimentary coffee which is always available at all hotels. Bottled drinking water is not provided either.

My room was clean and well decorated. A little compact, which is normal in HK. Sorta okay price. The location is okay. 5 min walk to an MTR station. There is a night market right outside. More than a dozen good small restaurants located less than 5 mins walking distance. A 7/11 is right outside as well. Good for backpackers. Dissatisfied with the staff and their customer service. Didn't really receive a warm welcome. No greetings or anything. First words said to me by front desk was "passport". Didn't receive a "hello" or "hi" until my third day. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, but it's common courtesy to greet your customers. Their matress is stiff, at least in my room. Everyday, I wake up with aching shoulders and neck. Weird "wet dog" smell in bathroom.

"Issues with air conditioning". Travelling with my sister's family on 28 May 2017. Hotel is clean with nice room. Woke up 4 am in the morning when room temperature became less comfortable and my niece and nephew complaint. We were not given a good solution after discussion with overnight staff at front desk. It happens every mid morning! The issue seems to be central air conditioning control leaving some rooms controlled their temperature and it will effect other rooms. First time am hearing this kind of issue. We still maintain with existing room. In all, the staff needs more training while the management is doing its best to maintain the level of service. Stayed with Family fm Malaysia

It was a nice hotel, however they double charged us and argued a lot before still refusing to give us our money back, along with this they took a unexpected 500 dollar deposit that had never been mentioned. Lastly the room was small but nice, however the bathroom could do with a clean to remove mould and dirt.
