Pros: 1. Friendly reception. 2. The MTR is not too far away. 5-7 min walk away. 3. The neighborhood is quiet, so don't worry of noise from cars or rowdy crowds. 4. The room size is small, but unlikely to trigger claustrophobia. The bathroom is real tiny though. The water pressure is good. 5. The room is clean. Mattress is decent. 6. They clean your room and change the towels every day. 7. Proximity to convenience stores and restaurants. 8. They have a good number of electrical sockets, but unfortunately placed at places far from the bed. 9. The Wifi isn't great but pretty good. Cons: 1. The rooms are packed so close together that if someone knocks on the door next door, you'd think they're knocking on your door. 2. They don't provide coffee in the room. Just some black tea in sachets. 3. You've got to buy the water they place in the room. Not pricey though (HKD 4) but I wish they could at least provide this basic necessity FOC as in other hotels. 4. The pillows are so thin they provide practically zero support for the head. Ended up putting clothes under the pillows to prop them up. 5. The no of TV channels are disappointing.

The room was shabby and minuscule. Barely longer than wide, and not wide enough for a normal bed. The photos we saw when we booked months ago were deceiving. The air conditioner sounded like a train in that tiny room. The internet didn’t work and the girls at the desk couldn’t get it running. The kept reentering the password and saying that it should work (but it never did). No way we could stay a night, let alone the three we booked, so we moved to another hotel. If I could rate this place lower, I would. Stay away. I will.

Terrible experience. The temperature of the room is freezing and there’s no way to turn it up. The hotel receptionist’s attitude is the worse I’ve ever seen. They blame you for their own problems. I won’t recommend this to anyone, and will never come again.

Firstly hotel receptionist tried to check me in the smaller room without a window with an AC working in single mode "arctic night". After short conversation changed my room to what I actually booked. Still very small which is fine, with window and slightly bigger bathroom but unfortunately not well maintained nor very clean. And now I discover that there's no hot water and shower head falling off the wall - perfect end of the long traveling day. 3*** aha...

The hotel is in an amazing area but I had some serious problems with this place during our stay. I'll skip the fact that the rooms are really dated and small and could use some maintenance. We were here in the summer and the air flow sucked for a room that was supposed to be able to have 3 people stay in it. One of the rooms were cool while the other room basically had no air making it pretty hot. On top of the really hot, no air room all I could smell was cigarette smoke throughout the night. It wasn't even coming from my neighbours on the floor as there wasn't any smoke smell coming from our floor. It made it a difficult sleep for a couple of nights.

Okay this review is taking what I'm paying for, the location and service. I gave five stars because anyone who comes to hongkong should know how small any hotel's rooms are. This is the first time I'm staying here, and by far, definitely not the smallest i have seen. You can't fault them just because of that. If you are looking for modern stylish decor, you probably didn't do your homework well. Because they definitely didn't mislead anyone on that matter. Anyone with family should spend more and get a bigger sizable room. For this price and the room, the service is great, rooms as pictures, cleaniness great for old hotels like this. Location is my favorite, because i know this area inside out. All those locally handmade food just at door steps.

The hotel is located in a central position allowing convenient commutes between popular locations. We did request an extra bed online when booking with hotel unfortunately this was not communicated and so we had to pay extra when we checked in. The rooms were very minimal, we had booked 3. There was a horrible smell in the hallway before arriving to our room daily. We also saw a cockroach running across the reception floor.

Good value for money. Convenient location. Clean. Tiny bathroom. If you weigh more than 200 pounds, you might not be able to fit here. If you stand @ 5' 10", you might be too tall to shower. Requires a room eventuality deposit deposit of three hundred HKD even if you already pre-pay your room.

Fire alarms have been activated each night of our stay. Not conducive for a good night's sleep. Cats also fight very noisily each night. The double room that we have is tiny and not big enough for two people.

Hotel needs some t&c.staff ok . Rooms bed & abit more to store bags if too many bags can't move comfortably. Hot water in the shower wasn't good. They charge $500 deposit,if you use any of the 6 water bottle kept in the room $6 would be charged. Water bottle many there for long. 10mins to Prince Edward MTR.

The persistent smell of cigarettes permeates the room, likely seeping through the vent due to construction work on higher floors. Despite daily cleaning efforts, the odor lingers, making it challenging to eliminate completely. Location is 7 mins away from MRT and near a grocery store. The Younger receptionist is nice.

Shower head was broken in my room, the walls are super thin and you can hear everything around you, you have to pay extra to drink the bottled water in your room and there's not even a bathroom to use after you've checked out. Good location near the metro but that's about the only plus

Basic 3 star. No frills. Little old and quaint. Small but clean. Good for a simple quiet night rest..

Extravagant lobby with fancy furnishings. Rooms are a little small and old however, and views are nonexistent. Overall, decent rooms if travelling alone for a decent price.

Small and shabby. If you just want to stay with a bed, nothing else, it is suitable for you. A little reminder, the building including the room reeks of the cigarette smoke.

  • 1/5 Wen Tai L. 9 months ago on Google
There's only one Wi-Fi connection for the entire building and the AC is very cold even though it's set to 30 degrees. Would not recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights room was nice and staff hospitality was good but however the WIFI issue ……… its was big hassle for us ….for the entire nights staying there we informed several times but they are unable to rectify it…… apart from that everything s k for the money and it’s near to most of the destinations
