Watch out for this hotel. It is budget and run by an Indian. It is inside a dodgy hallway full of Indiers and people who touch you/maybe try to get into your pockets. We got scammed by this person because we checked in too late and he wanted extra money. Further down the road you will have a other hotel called The Imperial Hotel little more expensive but definetly worth your money. Clean beds/towels and cleaning information each day.

First of all, this is not a hotel. This is a so called guesthouse. Never believe the exaggerated and misleading reviews. An extremely highly and misleadingly rated guesthouse. I stayed there for 3 nights. I had a really big disappointment. The location of the guesthouse is very good. It is located in the busiest parts of the city. This is the only positive point that can be said about the guesthouse. The guesthouse is located on the 16th floor of a 17-floor old building in the Tsim Sha Tsui district, which I think is over a passage called Chungking Mansion, with dozens of guesthouses called by different names. Although these guesthouses are called by different names, they have the same concept. In order to enter the building, it is necessary to go through a passage where Indian people work, and use the elevator. At the entrance of the passage, Indian vendors greet you every time they want to sell you something. The inside of the passage is as crowded and smelly as the outside. The people staying in the building are mostly African, Indian and Filipino people. There is a very strong possibility that people living in the country illegally can be found. Hong Kong police, who know this situation well, from time to time, together with many police, checks ID and passport at the entrance of the passage. On the second day of my stay in the guesthouse, I was taken to the building under the control of the police. When the police asked for a passport, I said it was in the guesthouse where I was staying. Anyway, they let me inside the building because they understood that I was just a tourist. It is quite possible that one day, at any time, polices may come into your room and be subject to security checks. From time to time, you may have to wait 10-15 minutes to get on the elevator. The building where the guesthouse was located smelled really bad. Although it is said that cooking is not allowed in the guesthouse, someone was cooking in the evening, and it smelled really bad. The first day I arrived at the guesthouse, I was shown two rooms where I could stay. As the bedspreads of one room looked dirty, I chose the other. Both were quite small and narrow. When I wanted to lie down fully on the bed of the room I was staying in, my feet were touching the wall. The so-called bathroom and toilet were located in the same place. It is very difficult for you to move inside, it is very difficult for you to sit on the toilet. During my stay, they never cleaned the room I stayed in, they didn't give anything including water. There is no air conditioning in the room. There was a fan in the room. It was a really bad place. Don't believe the exaggerated and misleading reviews and photos, it's definitely not what it seems. I strongly advise you to stay away from this mouse hole. Also, do not forget that all other guesthouses are no different from this one.

Clean place. Small room. Found inside chungking mansion. Quite cheap but you can find something cheaper. Probably book ahead of time for the best prices.

Very small rooms, but has exactly what backpackers need, clean room, with a shower and comfy beds. Also very close to the center and MTR, which makes it very easy to get around

Sufficiently comfy stay in one of the most interesting community building of all Hong Kong. Only for experienced travellers, not fancy tourists. In the historical Chungking Mansions house you'll find plenty of interesting shops, businesses and the very best Indian curry houses in town, gotta find them!

Pros Location is very good Cons 1. Super tiny room. I booked a double bed room but they offered a single bed room. We are skinny. So we could fit but no place for luggage. We managed to put all the luggage under the bed. 2. The bathroom and bedsheets stink. 3. The bathroom becomes floods 4. The walls between rooms are very think that you can hear even people who stay next us turn on and off light. 5. Over priced. For this condition $40 is too much.

This hotel is located in the 16th floor at chunking mansion. Although the room is so small and the distance between two single beds is limited, the room is clean and the lagguage can be placed under the bed. They have a strong free WiFi connection. In addition, they offer free coffee, free milk and free tea. The only cons was that there were times that soap and tissue were only provided upon request. Overall I will still recommend this hotel for those who are planning to have a vacation in HK.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The room and toilet is clean and they provide new towels everyday. Easily accessible since it is located in Chung King mansion close to the tourist spots in the area.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was so comfortable though the hostel is located at the 16th floor but that's not a problem since there's an elevator hours w/CCTV :) I would like to thank Sir Sam for welcoming us and so kind to us during our stay in Asia inn. To Sir Nicky for giving us clean towel everyday and To Sir George,he takes time to chitchat with us for a while and lending us an umbrella because its raining outside. So Kind.

Although the room is very small(I guess it's because the normal living in HK is very crowded), but room is very clean and comfortable. the elevator can't take many people(only around 600Kg Max), need to be patient. 1F is a little bit crowd, but as long as you go upstairs, it will be nice and quite.

Room is that extremely small (slightly bigger than a single bed). Room is clean. Staff service not bad. But area is excellent, very near to waterfront and ferry.

😠 Completely false advertising. Stayed in a double room that I could lie horizontally across and have my feet and head touching walls. Couldn't even sit on the toilet the bathroom was so small. Can't stand in the shower because the sink is in the way. The bed sheets were covered in stains. The TV does...
