The rooms are very cramped and tight. There is only space to walk in, close the door and lie on the bed. The one I got has no windows. The toilet door just managed to close to avoid hitting the toilet bowl. You got to be careful you stand to avoid touching the toilet bowl while you bath. Good thing is that it is very near the train station.

The room is clean with air-conditioning and TV but it feels cramped. The view outside is not that pleasant though but I guess that how it is in the area. Still it is a decent place to rest if you'll spend most of the time going to tourist spots in HK.

We did not pay that much, so we are not expecting much. We arrived early but the reception checked us in immediately, so we were so happy. The rooms were small but quite clean, air-conditioned, hot water and cozy beds, everything that we need. There's hair dryer and lots of tissue paper. Unlimited hot and cold water for drinking, we really appreciate this. They also have friendly staff. So overall, we liked the place. Oh ladies Market and sneaker Street is just outside, few walks, with 2 7-elevens and McDonald's very near the place. Mtr mong Kok station is just a minute or two, depending on how fast you walk. Really convenient location. Thank you very much Ah Shan!

The location is great as it's close to MTR Mongkok. The room is small but quite clean. There are many restaurants around the area. Not suitable for family with kid.

I loved my stay here. The guy at the front desk was sooo helpful! He made sure that we were comfortable and had a pleasant stay. Honestly, the most helpful front desk ever! The facility was super clean and the location is great, less than 3 mins from subway. Next time in HK, I will stay here.

The guy who welcomed us (not sure if he's the owner) is very nice. He gave clear instructions and assisted us to the room. The Filipina lady is not as considerate though. My daughter was having bouts of acute diarrhea on our check out time. I was hoping we could stay atleast for an hour more but the lady said we need to check out at 11am to avoid being charged 200hkd or so for the extension. I could have asked the guy maybe he would allow us. But we just checked out anyway. Over all, the room and toilet is clean, has good ventilation because we chose a room with window. Will still come back.

Strategically located near the bus stops, MTR Mong Kok station, night market and many shops in the area. These are all walking distance from the hostel. Very good location! Friendly staff. The main door of the rooms automatically locks when you close it. Thus, there is security. However, the building is a bit old and the elevator is somewhat slow, and it has sour smell.

the environment, bed and pillow is clean and complete. All the facility like TV and water heater is functioning well. The only problem very small room and share the tiny toilet. will not recommend if there is elder in your trip. overall is still good after consider the cheap price offer by the hotel.

When we arrived, we found we had to change rooms a few times, but the staff was always kind and helpful, and took in account our special requests. Rooms were safe and clean, and the hostel is in a central location. (Rooms were also cramped, as is the case in Hong Kong, and we also sometimes had to line up and wait for the lift, as is also the case in Hong Kong.) We got our money's worth.

After searching before flight to Hongkong, maybe this one is pretty cheap and have many good review. Yes, it is. The room is clean, people also kind in this building, and near to MTR station. Youn come here using bus number A21 to Mongkok from airport. It's cheaper than MTR. After you get down at the station, walked arround 5 minutes and you can see Sincere House 14 floor. You can also get drink for free with dispenser near the reception.

We had a nice stay at this hostel! The hostel is near the food shops, restaurants, and MTR station. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Our room is also clean and cozy. The WiFi is also fast. Not bad for its price since we are out all day.

Great room right in the center of Kowloon. Near with MTR, shopping centers, bus stops. The staff is very kind and nice, the prices are low, there are no problems with the settlement. We asked for a room with a window in advance and they gave it to us with no problem - the view is wonderful! Thank!

Pros - Very good price, would definitely recommend IF you're on a tight budget Convenient location, right on the doorstep of everything (a bit noisy at night though) Provided with all the basic amenities 24 hour access with security personnel on the door & multiple CCTV cameras Decent size TV with plenty of channels, no time for that though as there is just SO MUCH to do in Hong Kong! We were doing 30k+ steps everyday and was shattered by the time we got back in the evening Cons - Bathroom light constantly flashing Toilet seat was not fixed down properly Could have been swept/wiped down a bit better, wouldn't have taken long as it was a small room Overall we were relatively happy as it was very cheap accommodation Rooms are small, but this was expected as its right in the middle of Hong Kong 7/10 overall rating

The room is very small, but just as shown on the picture, it isn't like we were deceived. The room was pretty clean. En-suite bathroom which is very useful. No breakfast included, but there are many places around. Good location near the subway stop (Mong Kok, Central Line).

We loved our stay at the Ah Shan Hostel. The staff was friendly and accommodating (especially their housekeeper). The hostel is very affordable (we were a group of 8, with 3 kids and an elderly), clean and comfortable. It's centrally located so you can look for great food and cheap shopping opportunities nearby. Would love to stay again!

Does not really remember it but the room is cozy for three people with a bunk bed and one single bed. Small space, after the front door, alittle to the left is the door to the bathroom. The cleanliness is top.
