Really disappointed in their management. A rushed experience last night, ruined my Lunar New Year dinner. I have been coming to Man Wah since day one with my wife. Last night will certainly be our last! At least until their management team changes. I do not recommend booking during the holiday period as they try to maximize their business and then rush you out the door. I booked for the first seating on the 23rd at 6pm understanding that the table needs to be returned at 8pm. During the whole dinner dishes were overly rushed even for other diners tables as we noticed. The wait staff on 3 occasions pointed at my wife's food as if she needed to hurry up and eat for the next course as I ate slightly faster. Bit rude, never experienced that before at Man Wah or even lower end restaurants. We were already eating rather fast as we were extremely hungry yesterday evening and dishes did arrive quickly. I must admit the food was good, as always. In the end we finished all the set menu dishes at 7:30PM well before the 8PM limit. The nail in the coffin was when your male manager / wait staff brings me the bill at 7:45PM and asks if I can "settle first" Not a problem! at 7:50 he asks if I "would like to take my bottle of wine home", I ask him what the rush is for us to leave? He mentions the 8pm table time limit. I politely told him we had 10 minutes left it was 7:50PM and that my bottle wine was not finished! and that I would have it until 8pm. I also mentioned it was rude to be so pushy and that there were clearly seven (7) other empty tables which i pointed out to him and asked to politely give me some leeway so I could enjoy the quarter of my wine left in the bottle with my wife before 8PM. He agreed and eventually said I could take my time. At this point I felt unwelcomed and disgusted at his handling of the situation. I proceeded to drink the remaining quarter of my 2500 HKD bottle of wine and left at 8:02PM. So that they could now have eight (8) empty tables for their next seating of which nobody arrived exactly at 8PM. Appalled by his handling of the situation, I proceeded to go to Aubrey next door at 8:05PM for two more bottles of wine with my wife and invited some friends to enjoy a much more relaxed experience, to make up for last night's disaster at Man Wah. They could have offered to move us and the wine to another location or bar if they were caring or considerate. No grace, no consideration just pushy and In a hurry like robots on a production line. Didn't receive an apology for their unnecessary rushed service either, what a shame. You lost my business in the future.

Have been to Man Wah several times for both lunch and dinner. A restaurant that never let you down . The service was excellent and to the point by the manager and staffs . The sommeliers , especially the head sommelier Andrew Lam , have deep wide wine knowledge and much better than those in Amber . The ingredients were fresh and exotic. The cooking skills were classy and executed to the perfect level ! One of the best Chinese cuisine dining places in Hong Kong and the world . A must visit Chinese cuisine dining place!

Very high standard Chinese restaurant at CBD area which caters well to business customers. Very cozy environment & yet comfortable. Excellent services. High food quality but which comes with a high price tag too.

(Translated by Google) I heard that many appointments need to be made in advance, and we were fortunate to have a seat only a few days ago, and it was Sunday. Although I was told that the seat position may not be very good, close to the kitchen position, but the seat position on the day was different. Can also see some small sea views. At 1:30 on the same day, I went up to the 25th floor of the Mandarin Hotel. First I saw a bar and went straight to the Mandarin Hall. The original restaurant range was not imagined. It was surrounded by a strong antique design. I saw a private room. There should be a fence. Most unfortunately, the man in the suit who took us down seemed to be in a bad mood (no expression, no eye contact, flat tone), so he tried not to talk to him. Then, there was a wine frame near our dining table with red and white wine and champagne, and a friendly waiter recommended 蔘 茶 ($ 98 / cup, honey-neutral, tangy but not sweet, moderate taste) It's good to drink, I ended up drinking 2 cups). However, seeing that many guests were drinking and couldn't help but want a glass of champagne, the waitress introduced Heidsieck Brut Rose ($ 398 / cup). The number of snacks can be added or subtracted, and you can order them according to the person's head. Even if a certain number is written on the menu, you can only order 1 or 2 pieces, which is very flexible and considerate! There are three kinds of sauces on the table: soy sauce, watercress sauce and xo sauce. This xo sauce is salty and delicious. We ordered 2 yuan and $ 138/1 per person. There is a bamboo shoot shrimp dumpling king, black pepper and beef crisp and a piece of original abalone chicken. The shrimp dumplings are thin and the shrimp is refreshing; , Wagyu will not eat, but the pastry is good and not greasy; Abalone chicken grains are ordinary * Later it was found that it would be cheaper if the 3 kinds of snacks were scattered!), Spanish Black Pork Grilled Sausages ($ 158. Intestine noodles are sticky and pliable, with meat inside), Golden Hook Salted Water Corner ($ 43 / piece. Fragrant and crispy), Matsutake steamed and sold ($ 25 / piece. Moderate), Spanish Black Haired Pork with Roasted Pork Roasted Pork Pieces ($ 488/6 pieces each. I originally wanted to burn takoyaki for $ 198, but sold out, so this is recommended. The pork roast is moderately thin, the meat is soft and the meat is strong There is less honey and sweetness is much less than usual barbecued pork; suckling pig skin crispy and tender meat, consistent level), caged golden yao crab meat rice ($ 228 / 2-3 people. After serving, the waiter will help us divide into two The bowl is really 2 small bowls in size. The overall taste is lighter, the amount of crab meat and Yaozhu is quite large, so that each rice is very tasty and rich, the rice grains are not soft and hard, personally like rice , So it may be enough for me), and finally I want Yunsang Coconut Poplar Manna ($ 138. Mango and coconut flavor is outstanding, yuzu meat is fresh, just sour and sweetness is just right), and finally a bird cage is sent Underneath, there is coconut milk cake and butterfly crisp ending. Summary: 2 people, 7 dishes (varieties of dim sum, double-flavored siu mei, two bowls of rice and desserts), except for drinks, about $ 1500 * plus one, you can refer to it. I personally think that it will turn back for a caged Jinyao crab meat rice, siu mei and Yun Sang Coconut Yangzhi Ganlu, followed by dim sum.

Man Wah of course is one of the best and most pricely restaurants of Hong Kong with 3 Michelin stars. It was funny they gave me as a gift a teabag after I have spent some 150 dollars for a dish. Was is worth it? Well, no. Sorry. The service was exceptionally attentive, thanks. The view is beautiful. But the place is dull in some sense. I don't know how to explain it. It is simply not dynamic.

We came to Man Wah for dim sum lunch during the Mid Autumn festival. The stand out dishes were the prawn rice flour rolls (Cheung fun) and the roast pork char siu. The other dishes such as the deep fried matsutake mushroom pudding requires expert preparation to achieve the crispy texture were less satisfactory and for that reason I can only give a three star review. Service and presentation were excellent as can be expected from the Mandarin.

While Man Wah boasts a Michelin star, the overall dining experience falls short of expectations. Despite the elevated price point, the food quality is comparable to, or even inferior to, places like Din Tai Fung. Although the ambiance is better, I would suggest exploring alternative venues for a more satisfying culinary experience.

Man Wah one of my favorite dining place in Hong Kong, continued to maintained their consistency in quality, taste, flavors and staff engagement since my last visit before the pandemic. Ambience is welcoming, charming and lovely blue color scheme which blends very well. Service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience and thanks Tim, Vicky and Marco. Dishes was well plated and presented which tantalizes our taste making it a delectable journey. It was a wonderful afternoon dining at Man Wah, retaining their 1 ⭐️ Michelin status for tenth year running. 👍👍👍👍👍. Will be back soon. Remember dress code applies and reservations are encouraged.

Man Wah was once referred to as “the most beautiful dining space” in Hong Kong. With this and it’s one star Michelin star accolades, I have decided to make dining at Man Wah a top priority in my recent trip to Hong Kong. Had the 8 course tasting menu for dinner on 02/01. The dishes were beautifully crafted. There were supremely great dishes such as the hot and sour soup with bird nest and seafood. There were some misses though such as the steamed bamboo stuffed with seasonal vegetables and morel mushroom. The fried rice with Yunnam Ham didn’t exactly had the wow factor too. For its price at HK$1888 for the tasting menu, it didn’t exactly met my expectations. The service and ambience have otherwise made up for the slight disappointment I had with the quality of food. Reading some of the reviews here makes me wonder perhaps I should have ordered their signature ala carte dishes instead of the tasting menu.

Nice place for Chinese food and a perfect for a business lunch! I had a Man Wah Sustainable Set Lunch Menu- All of the Shanghainese soup dumpling, minced pork, matsutake mushroom Vegetable dumpling, Chiu Chow-style Taro tart, South African abalone, morel mushroom I had were really good! Steamed fillet was really fresh. Not a huge fan of the Fried mixed rice with assorted vegetables tho it was still well executed. The dessert Red bean cream, aged tangerine peel was superb and very very flavourful too. Service was nice and overall it lived up to its reputation!

Food was good. Restaurant was nice. View was great. Service was quick and attentive. But I expected more. It's the mandarin oriental and I was expecting an excellent experience. We had a good experience instead (8 out of ten so 4 stars out of five). Our waiter spoke an incredibly broken English, I could barely understand him and most of the time I had to ask him to repeat and I could sense he didn't really enjoy repeating the same thing twice every time. Our table was kind of boring and just had an insignificant tiny plant which looked kinda pointless. Frankly I would replace that with something else. The table looked cheap and lame. This is a five star hotel. I'm not expecting anything absurd here. And it was just too dark despite the fact we were very close to the window. The fried rice was incredibly boring. Dim sums were good tho. Good experience, but I had lunch at the mandarin oriental in Geneva, Tokyo and other cities. And it was a better experience in other places. My experience in Tokyo for example was excellent. Here it was good. Time to improve to add that extra star.

It has an excellent location, beautiful view, but I didn't like the food itself, nor my boyfriend did. I would not recommend it, it is too overpriced for the food, we didn't like.... :( The staff was very well-mannered, maybe even a bit too much. I didn't feel comfortable to eat there, I felt the whole time, like I was being watched. Sorry

Service was great! The staffs were polite with great manners. The views are beautiful. However the food is quite lacking. Their signature bbq pork was just ok, but too expensive compare to the quality. Other foods were just ok.

Food is great, ordered peking duck and a few other dishes, and it was one of the best I have ever had Very spacious with nice views of skyscrapers and the harbour But the waiters could use more training... not knowing what you are serving, not knowing what promotions or offers are on... that's not sth i would expect in a restaurant in a 5 star hotel :/

(Translated by Google) The food is delicious and the service quality is very intimate. The restaurant layout and seating arrangement are comfortable. In addition to the delicious food, the dishes are also very beautiful. In addition to enjoying the taste of the food, you can also enjoy the visual enjoyment. The garlic abalone in the first dish tastes springy and the garlic is irritating, but the umami taste of the abalone is not covered up. The duck foot bag has been cut into pieces for the convenience of guests. Another "Jade Scale Fish Leaping to the Golden Waves" is very artistically pleasing, just like looking at the pond, pleasing to the eye (Original)

Is there better Dim Sum? In Guangzhou, yes. In Hong Kong, very possibly not. Is there a more elegant and refined venue for Dim Sum? Definitely not! I've been for dinner too, and it's very nice, but Dim Sum is the best meal for Man Wah. Expensive, elegant, perfect service, terrific view, interesting dishes well presented, it has everything, including a particularly rich almond cream dessert.

The restaurant is elegantly decorated and the dining environment is quieter, suitable for dining with guests. If you come to eat dim sum by yourself, the amount of dim sum can also be halved. The service staff will come to pour tea. The sauce is soy sauce chili and XO sauce. The chili sauce here is too salty Wi-Fi is available In addition to tablecloths and tablecloths, there are also wet cloth towels, which are placed on special plates By the window seat, you can see that the street view of Hong Kong is not too close The service staff will often change the plates for food to keep the plates clean In the case of Dim Sum, this is a level of $ 100 The shrimp dumplings are smaller than expected, the skin is beautiful, the filling is delicious, the siu Mai is also delicious, the truffle dumplings, the skin is too Q, although it is not a vegetarian dumpling, but the taste of the dish is very heavy, it should not be ordered next time , Taro dumplings, delicious fried decoration looks, making dumplings into swan, is also very attractive, if you are willing to eat taro suggested that you can order to eat It is a pity that when eating taro dumplings, the fried scraps were accidentally dropped on the table, and there was no service staff to clean it up, making the table look less beautiful and clean. The decoration of radish cake is also much better than the average restaurant. Sure enough, it has Michelin standards. It has bean sprouts and egg shreds on it. It does not stick to any sauce. It is already tasteful. XO sauce is better The desserts served after dinner are served with a birdcage decoration, which is really special (Original)

With good money you pay, comes good food, breathtaking view, good customer service and mouth watering food.

For the price I’d have expected a lot more. Whilst the appetizers were ‘good’ the Peking duck ‘signature dish’ was altogether devoid of flavor. The service was excellent but for these prices the product needs to be on point, it wasn’t.

(Translated by Google) Michelin stars, modestly, expensive and not tasty. In general - not for everybody. Apparently I'm just not a fan. (Original) Мишлен, звезды, скромно, дорого и не вкусно. В целом - на любителя. Видимо я просто не любитель.

Food was just ok especially when comparing to other same tier restaurants. Nothing's outstanding or memorable.
