Local hole in the wall bbq restaurant that is famous amongst not only the local community but as well as the rest of the city. Famous for their pork specialties like Chasiu, Crispy Pork Belly and Suckling Pig. There isn't much places to sit so expect a wait, take out is the option most people would opt for. A good thing to note is the times the Cha Siu freshly gets taken out out. 9am, 12pm 330 and 530. So make sure you come around those times and request for the better pieces. Lunch therr is very popular so the good cuts sells out quickly, so go early.

wow. char siu was terrible. Please do not read the foodie reviews. the meat had no flavour, was dry, and nothing special to it. I bought 4 boxes at $50 each and it was a waste of time and money.

Hands down the best char siu I’ve ever had. Told the butcher we wanted $70 worth of char siu, which was A LOT. Got fresh rolls from a bakery across the street and ate it in Chai Wan park. A hefty but delicious snack.

Char siu so juicy, with the right amount of fat and char 🤤 nice, deep roasted flavours. The fat is very nicely rendered - it doesn't feel oily at all! They only do takeaways, so we had to buy it home and then reheat it. It already tastes so good even though it was reheated, i would love to try it fresh next time!

One of the best Chat Siu in town. They have different characters of Chat Siu to fit your favourite… fatty, half/half and lean… even the lean pork Chat Siu are very tender and juicy. Highly recommend.

A little more expensive when compared to other Chinese BBQ places that are located within a local residential community, but the quality of the meats are above average. It is recommended to eat-in as that will give you the best experience of what it feels like to live as a local in a traditional Southern Chinese community. My regular order, is poached chicken and crispy skin BBQ pork, with a salted egg side order. During regular, lunch & dinner times, there may be a bowl of tradition soup offered.

I’d say it’s an above average char siu but surely not the BEST in Hong Kong. The Char Siu is crispy on the outside with a very sweet maltose gravy. It is served cold as we have missed out the 12:30pm round. The slice is thin, with appropriate level of fatness, the tenderness is also good and goes well with a bowl of piping hot rice🍚 Would’ve buy it occasionally if I live around but will not to travel all the way to Chai Wan for this. The shop is designated for takeaways and they have very limited seats and not exactly comfortable for dining there.

Siu mei or Bbq meats shops are very common in HK and you can find decent ones almost anywhere. This one in the non tourist area of Chai Wan almost to the eastern most end of HK is slightly above average. It's mostly a take out place as there's only 3 small tables for dine-in. By the look of it while we dined in they did a humming take out business. The bbq pork was succulent and had a right mix of lean and fatty meat. At $90 for a plate there's over 10 good size pieces. Suckling pig with rice at $60 was good and decent value. Overall recommended if around area but no need to come specifically for these foods as they are everywhere.

One of the best BBQ/ Roast food in Hong Kong. Good price, quality and delicious. BBQ pork is not to be missed, and watch out for the queue during busy hours.

Sun Kwai Heung's Cha Siu is reputedly the best in HK, & it surely lives up to its reputation. Although quite pricey at $192/catty (almost double of normal Canto bbq meat shop) their Cha Siu consistently tastes divine. The shop is a bit out of the way but worth the journey nevertheless.

We used to visit this eatery for their iconic chasiu, literally the barbecue pork or ribs and the other roasted items. They have cancelled the sit down eatery area and is no longer welcoming any sit down. You’d just need to take away your order. We came here for a few times but didn’t find the barbecue pork super amazing or impressive as what those KOLs have described to be frank.

The best bbq pork that I have, HK$208 per 斤, it’s not cheap but totally worth. Staffs are very polite.

Probably this is the best BBQ pork 叉燒 in Hong Kong despite it is quite pricing. The fat char Siu is super tasty only if you don't mind this may not be very healthy

An over-rated roast meat/duck stall that some YouTubers trumpeted about. It is good but not outstanding. Deserving an average score, similar to many other stalls in Hong Kong.

Must try BBQ pork (Cha Siu) rice in Chai Wan! I like this type of shops where the owner greets their patrons and knows what they want! Must be a local’s favorite. More expensive than others in the area but it is worth it!

Have already ran out of BBQ pork for walk-in customers at 3pm on Sunday unless you have started queuing earlier for a quota, which is certified by a numbered paper.
