We came for happy hour and enjoyed good drinks, service and setting. Good for small groups in a comfy speak easy setting. Recommend the snacks and cocktails. Also enjoyed the metal mug for beer too, no metal taste.

This place is a lot smaller than you may expect from the photos so a reservation is recommended. It feels more like a fancy bar with a few dining tables rather than an authentic British pub or restaurant. That aside, the interior is very well decorated and the seats are large and relaxing. For a British restaurant, it’s a shame that the choice of beers were limited - it was either Guinness or Asahi. For such a high price tag, and being at a world-renowned hotel it would have been great if they could offer styles of British beer that one couldn’t find in nearly every other bar in the city. The food, although expensive, was delicious. I’d recommend the bangers and mash which had a delicious gravy and traditional sausages. Avoid the braised lamb, which my friend ordered which came in a watery soup and didn’t resemble anything of seen in the U.K. before.

I need to go back soon to fulfil my craving 😀. Really liked the concept of the place. If you can’t decide between Indian or British then this is the perfect spot for you and your group. I loved their British set up, comfortable couches and vintage artworks. And special thanks to Hubert and the team for looking after us. Definitely one of the must try restaurants in Hong Kong.

The atmosphere at the classic bar is very so exclusive, the staff talk very well, there are a lot of whiskey, the price is resonable price . very recommended.-

A nice and quiet place in Central, the good portion is larger than expected so I had a pretty full lunch 😁. The lamb is tasty but my star for today would be the garlic butter rice

Classical and classy as always. Curries for lunch always a winner.

The Chinnery is Hong Kong for me in many ways. I’m not qualified to remark on their huge whisky collection, but the food is outstanding. Don’t miss the the Chicken Tikka.
