Nobu at its best. Nobu is just back in Hong Kong in the new renovated Regent Hotel and it’s so good to have Nobu back. We are a big fan of Nobu and have been fortunate to go to few Nobu including the one in Tokyo last month (which was so so disappointing btw). So last night, we ordered the dishes that we enjoyed : spicy edamame, green leaves with matsuhisa sauce, rock shrimp tempura with spicy sauce, eggplant with miso sauce, black cod, soft shell crab cut rolls, California cut rolls. Salmon and avocado cut rolls and bento box as a dessert. We tried the spinach leaves salad but won’t order it again, nice but nothing special. Our usual were delicious. Big thumb up to the staff, perfect service. The food came not too fast and all the staff were pleasant, super polite and helpful. Yes the bill is high. We did have a lot of food. Nobu is special and we had a lovely meal. We will remember it and would highly recommend it.

Finally get the chance to write this review as I was very determined to do so someday after I get home. THE MIX. There were five of us. We were sat next to the window facing the great views over the harbour. A bit on the bright side during Sunday afternoon so lowering some blinds would help. Food was good, but just as expected. Good portions (varieties) to fill us up. I’ll let the attached photos speak for themselves. The setting and deco looks odd. Round tables are not common in Japanese cuisine. When we were seated, the table was plain bare - no utensils, plate, glass when we sat down. Felt like we sat in between someone setting up a table in a rush dim sum restaurant – in a supposedly Japanese restaurant lacking details. THE BAD. What was upsetting was, the afternoon set was supposed to come with drinks. We were chatting a bit and became thirsty. Noticing our drinks somehow took an extended amount of time to arrive and there was nothing on our table, so we’ve asked the waitress can we have some water please. Waitress asked us whether we wanted sparkling and we promptly said no, just regular water. She then brought us bottled Fiji water inside a metallic container, then we realize we are going to get charge an unknown amount for it (approx. HKD$120 for a 1L). The price was not written in their menu and the waitress also failed to inform us of the charge. My complaint in form of a question is, a restaurant that charges 300+/person seriously can’t even afford to give out some very basic water to a customer like any restaurant would? No matter how good that afternoon tea was, it left us with a sour taste and a terrible impression. I don’t care what the norm in HK is, it just shows poor hospitality, poor taste, poor gesture and they would like their customers to just suck it up. The food was good; but NOBU has lost all their points to their greediness and cheapness – that’s all I can remember whenever someone asked me about the experience.

For a japanese restaurant in intercon hotel, i would say is a little disappointed. Sashimi and ingredients grade are all great, is the "new" sauce they are trying to use or the techie of cooking are not really working. The desert is "new" and nice tho. Also, service are slow, waiting for long time just for the tea. And seeing two glasses with lip-stick mark on it is really not expected.

Fantastic weekend champagne brunch with a wide variety of dishes included in the brunch menu. Visited twice and dishes are updated to reflect the freshest produce of the season. Each diner gets to select 4 mini appetisers. Highly recommend to try all 8! Perfect venue for family lunch. Restaurant is kid-friendly too.

Restaurant location is good, sitting by the window with the unbeatable view, staffs are friendly and attentive. However, the foods were just comparatively so so with all fresh ingredients. There was not even one dish surprised us in the whole Omakase menu.

I was staying at the Intercontinental and decided to come down and check out their happy hour specials on offer from 6-8pm. It seemed like not everyone knew about it, because they had to check if it was happening and gave me the wrong menu. I started with the Tonimomo which was very good and then the Matsuei Sour, which was more sweet than sour. I also tried the grilled shishito peppers and the sashimi tacos. The grilled peppers were fantastic, the tacos were okay. The menu is very limited and a little pricey for what you get. Honestly, come for dinner but do happy hour in the hotel lobby. It's at the same time and the menu is much larger and everything is at the same price point.

Good ambience with friendly staff to accommodate with any allergies. We tried the Nobu signature tasting menu and their Summer Omasake. The food is flavorful and beautifully served. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice Japanese meal and incredible view.

Pretty much disappointing, very hyped place, but overrated. The food was pretty much basic and the service was average for 400$ we paid for 2 people πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ with no alcohol. Especially when I went to other $$$$ rated restaurants in Hong Kong πŸ‡πŸ‡° Attaching photos so you can judge yourself.

Harbour view restaurant with low background music. Dry sake εŒ—ι›ͺ is nice. Hot dishes are generally good, but u may want to avoid the spicy ediname n the tuna taco.
