Absolutely a joy to discover this place. The tasting menu is brilliant. The portions are small but very tasty and filling. Presentation is wonderful. The waiter and waitress will explain each course to you and what are the ingredients and sauces. A fantastic experience and great for special occasions. It is pricey bit worth it. Service is spot on.

It’s a cheerful dining experience watching the chefs preparing those detailed dishes. The only drawback was they sold out most of their sake in the wine list, which made me tried their sake paring. That I could try a variety of their wine selection. Staff is super nice and friendly. Food is beautiful and yummy.

Good for Instagram but cooking does not reflect the price paid. Tried lunch tasting menu and was not satisfied. Upon the very first bite of the 20-hour pork belly, probably sous vide’d then turned crispy, I immediately sensed the distinctive ammoniac pork smell. Only the accompanying sauce made it tolerable. Grouper was decent but too flaky, on the hard side. Standard hotel banquet affair (if you have been to some lunch seminars at area fancy hotel banquet halls you will know what I mean). Appetizers and desserts all ok, interesting to look at them like the fully tattooed arms of many chiefs there. But that’s all you could remember. To off set the residual pork taste I got a braised pork belly for lunch next day, ordered on Food Panda with 20% off!

Great boarderless cuisine restaurant located in heart of central, IFC!! Super Nice omakase restaurant, great view, looking at the Victoria Harbour, looking towards to the Kowloon side, we are so lucky on that night was so clear, and also the waiters and waitresses are so professional, great service, the chef explained each courses really detail, we order the new tasting menu, and each of them are super fresh and yummy, personally I love the Hokkaido Uni, serve with homemade bread, feels like back to Japan!!! The decorations of each courses are extremely nice! And they used a lot of different countries condiments to mix and match with those super high end food from Japan. Also Toro match with violet mastard are so refreshing ,definitely worth to try, make my day !!!

Excellent service, excellent food. Restaurant manager was very welcoming and explained the dishes very well. Attentive staff. Food was very, very good, and would be happy to dine here again. The pork was to die for, as was the egg custard. Definitely visiting again.

We got buy one get one free through HSBC premier card. It’s a good deal. But for original price, I may have a second thought. Every dish is nice while appetiser is extremely good.

Simply enjoyed our dinner here, particularly the Parker House rolls! The tasting menu was well designed and well executed, with top grade ingredients sourced from all over the world as well as Hong Kong local farmers. Especially enjoyed sitting at the chef counter and looking at a team of chefs collaborating and preparing food for us under the supervision of Executive Chef, Rob Drennan, with mesmerizing views over the Victoria Harbour as backdrop. The bread course, the Parker House rolls, in particular, was worth a thousand wow-s. It was toasted with black garlic butter and served with homemade whipped brown butter with shaved Australian winter truffle on top. Super unforgettable. The [ otoro tart ] appetizer and the [ purple sweet potato ice cream (made with locally grown produce!) ] were also some of my personal favs. Enjoy a limited buy-1-get-1-free offer with an HSBC Premier Mastercard! 〔 Follow me on instagram @sikbaobaola ! ^^ 〕

Fine dining at Haku, a Japanese fusion restaurant. Very nice ambiance overlooking the harbour, and wonderful morsels that satisfies the palate. The desserts were very good. On the slightly expensive end, but overall worthwhile. Reservation is necessary.

Very well executed Japanese food. The executive chef was not there when we visited during lunch but the sous chef did an excellent job managing the culinary team. Reserve a seat at the bar if you want to get a better view of the chefs working their magic. Will definitely try dinner the next time. Very good range of organic tea available. Corkage fee is $500/bottle but it can be waived if you buy a bottle from them.

Lunch set. The place is nice, polite/good service. The ingredients were of high quality, fresh, overall it was tasty but it wasn't wow. Presentation was great on some dishes and not really exciting on others. We've left with mixed feelings. I paid 1.6K for two people, was still hungry and wanted to get a burger the next door after that. The key question - would we come back? Probably not.

I was excited to try out Haku as the menu sounded delicious. Presentation was great and staff really took the time to answer questions, provide descriptions and share about how dishes were created/originated. Unfortunately, the flavours of each dish fell short. There was always something missing (ie. Wishing the toast for the uni toast was actually warm and toasted etc). Flavours were a bit too light for some dishes where you hoped for more and too fatty for dishes were you’d expect a bit less (my short rib was mainly fat and mostly inedible) beautiful and great venue but I doubt I’d return, especially with this price point.

My boss bring me to IFC for the fine dining. That day we are trying Broadless cuisine, it's call Haku. The night view is amazing, there is Victoria Harbour night view. And the restaurant is elegant. The staffs are so helpful and politely. Appetizer HOKKAIDO UNI yuzu truffle O-TORO violet mustard FIREFLY SQUID This is very fresh and crewy. The sauce is made by sorrel and Wakayama pepper . FRIED CHICKEN This is deep fried American Chicken. It's so crispy and juicy. The topping is precious caviar and half sour. Main course 20 HOURS KAGOSHIMA PORK The KAGOSHIMA pork belly have sous-vide 75℃ in 55hours. It's soft and juicy. The sauce is made of chicken soup. Dessert JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE hazelnut BLOOD ORANGE The texture is so chewy and like a jelly bean. And added a fennel pollen. FINANCIER calamansi RUBY CHOCOLATE roasted miso

As I know, HAKU is famous for their special cuisine. I had a enjoyable dinner at their new location - IFC. The atmosphere is quite romantic  with nice sea view but it is upset that the seats with nice view is fully booked. Uni Toast  -  Hokkaido Uni is fresh and creamy, really loves this dish Hotaru Ika It is appetizing because of its sweet & sour taste. The onion sauce makes the whole dish palatable Fried Chicken American style fried chicken which is crispy and  juicy. 20 Hours Kagoshima Pork The pork is roasted and seasoned, the meat is smooth. Desserts Jerusalem Artichoke icecream with chocolate sauce Sweet Snacks - Blood Orange, Financier, Ruby Chocolate I like the blood orange as it taste like a gummy. Ruby chocolate is in natural pink color with roasted miso. I really have a good time with my friend at HAKU

It’s really an amazing dining experience with my dear. Haku is a Japanese fusion restaurant in a classy atmosphere which is located in IFC Mall, Central. The atmosphere of Haku is unbeatable. Its kitchen will pivot to offering Western dishes that incorporate Japanese ingredients. It is really a fusion and interesting food concept for me. We enjoyed 8 course that sounds great and delicious. Hokkaido Uni Toast, seasoned with dashi with an emulsion of truffle and onions. It is really cool and fresh. Firefly squid, is a seasonal ingredient. The sauce the mix with the firefly squid which is a perfect match. Its taste fresh and tender. I love how flavorful this fries chicken with the fresh squash. All this ingredients brings in a great balance of flavors, leaving s pleasant aftertaste. I choose A4 wagyu for my main course. It’s really surprise me~ A4 wagyu in medium rate, and the meat is simply out of the world, is which is juicy and tender. The side dishes are homemade bread with truffle butter. The black surge bread is really soft and warm. And I love the truffle butter as I am a truffle lover. Desserts also is my favor. It’s an ice-cream, Jerusalem Artichoke. The favor of ice cream with chocolate sauce and tipping are really surprising for me. It’s soft and sweet. Finally, the set of sweets and cake came at last. Blood orange, is a sweet. Its tastes sour and tender Financier is a lemon cake, is one of my favorite dessert. Ruby Chocolate, it’s a handmade chocolate and mix some nuts inside that is great to end the amazing fusion Japanese Omakasa experiences.

Modern Japanese. Food are served by course. Delicious, nicely decorated though a bit pricy. Follow the staff detailed explanation, go through a astonished food experience.

Every dish is well executed, a lot of details in the dish, and it was great from the beginning to all the way to the end, which is not often accomplished.

Normally, I don’t write reviews. But, this restaurant is exceptional and I wanted to share my experience. The service & food are extremely high quality. We enjoyed every bite of food - each dish is unique and served as art. Highly recommended!

We just had our Xmas lunch there. The food was very nice! It was such a surprise for me as I didn’t expect much when my husband made the reservation. I like the uni broche and the wagyu steak a lot. Those sashimi was very fresh and tasty. However, the risotto was so so for me. I think the rice is still a bit soft for me. The toppings were very nice and match but just the texture of rice... I like their dessert - the last one whisky gum too. What a lovely lunch that I had! ❤️ Will definitely come back again !!

Christmas lunch 5course for only hk$888, both visual and palate enjoyment. Additional hk$440 for wine pairing with non traditional wines. Very Interesting.

Excellent service and refreshing menu. Lunch was pricey but the food quality more than made up in value terms. Dessert was particular inventive with an adventurous palate that is not typically flavored. Ambience was lively but not intrusive. 4.5 for me.

A very happy lunch experience at Haku. Love the ingredients they used and their presentation.

A really nice dining experience. Great ingredients combining with skilled prep resulted in a 2 hours food symphony. While the wine pairing is doing his best it’ll be great if he can spend a little bit more time to study what customers actually wanted - not saying he ain’t good at his job though, the choices presented were all good matches with dishes offered.
