Fine dining environment, floor to ceiling windows, great service. However the rooftop bar / terrace is closed (since COVID) and no longer part of the restaurant. Order a land meat, beef or lamb, something grilled. We tried the fish (cod) and a tuna salmon tartare appetizer, both of which were underwhelming. Considering the price point, one would expect the meats to be seared to perfection and the beef and lamb are both more forgiving.

Best rooftop of the most impressive city of the world (at least it was nor far ago). It is a Must in HK. The ambience is always nice and it is a perfect place to go with friends to enjoy the nightlife of the city. The food is not bad but the best is to have there a drink listening the modern techno music of the Dj. Perfect match with terrific views of the city.

I went during Sunday lunch to try out this place that popped up in Google Maps with a good rating. It sits on top (31st floor) of this building in Wan Chai with partial view of the harbor. The ambiance is nice and good for a pleasant meeting. I went in wearing t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers with no problem. I selected the set lunch. Portions were on the smaller size. Food were just okay and bit salty for my taste. Salad was perfect with right acidity but steak came bit rare for my requested “medium” doneness. Hot coffee was strong but not good, although the accompanying milk was served warm in the way I prefer. In the end, the atmosphere is pleasant thus making up some deficiencies in food.

I understand that most of the reviews here are for the views from the Rooftop Bar, which are spectacular. Definitely check it out for amazing views of certain parts of the city. We had dinner right before going to the roof and though the steak was pretty good, I can’t say it was amazing. I requested my steak to be cooked “Medium” and it came out bright red rare. That was disappointing. The sides are good, as is everything else. But the steak, supposedly what this restaurant is known for, left much to be desired :(

Great location and rooftop, but you mostly pay for the view - not for the food or drinks. I ordered the a-la-carte filet mignon steak, it was slightly overcooked and the béarnaise sauce solidified (supposed to be a smooth and creamy texture). Not very acceptable for this price range. The service isn’t perfect and needs a bit of improvements (e.g. the waiters requested a few times to remove the bread and the plates while we didn’t finish). The wine list is quite basic and lower-end, I would suggest to add more diversity and singularity into it.

Here's how you do it: Seafood Starters (maybe a dry white wine to go with it). Mains: Get a full bodied Australian red to get things moving. Australian red wines and steak are a match made in heaven. Depending on number of people, try order 2 different cuts of meat. Make sure at least 1 is cooked Chicago style which has that nice char on the outside. Anything more than medium rare (maybe get away with medium) and you shouldn't be at a steak house. Unless you like seafood starters only. Sides? They don't have a bad one so just get what you like. Desert: I've only ever had the coffee and extra glass of red so roll the dice yourself. I'm sure it will be good.

This is my third time as well as the last time visiting this restaurant as the service quality has deteriorated to an unbearable, disrespectful, and extremely disappointing level. First of all, food was fantastic, the view, the design & the vibe in this restaurant are definitely spot-on. However, the service from the staff - or a particular staff is totally intolerable. Examples as below: (1) I've left message in google reservation and called to confirm with staff a day before the visit that we are to celebrate a friend's birthday and expecting a cake with hand writing on the plate - yet the staff in the restaurant didn't seem to communicate on this beforehand, and I needed to repeat again and again, or to spell the name to make sure this will be processed. (2) When the cake came in, it's a bit awkward as usually in other restaurants the staff will at least say happy birthday or give a smile. The staff here simply dropped the plate - literally dropped it, lit the candle and went away without a single word. (3) Water glass is always empty. A guy came over to refill but the water spilled everywhere, the table was flooded - not just one case as it happened multiple times. Again, no word no subsequent action. Just faded away as nothing was wrong. (4) When getting the bill, I had a question on the still water on the bill - not to challenge or refuse to pay, it's simply a bottle of water and I just wanted to double check - but the staff (the same one who refilled our glasses) simply repeated "it's still" "tap, still sparkling, it's the still" - to be honest the tone was not that pleasant. At a regular restaurant I wouldn’t mind, but I think this should be something basic at a place like wooloomooloo steakhouse. Appetizers were acceptable as well, not disappointing but also not amazed. The desserts were a delight tho! Especially Rum Baba, one should give it a try if one likes sth refreshing with a sip of rum down the throat. Overall I’d suggest one to try another place for fine dining, yet most of my friends say wooloomooloo prime at TST is much better. Perhaps I’d try the other shop next time.

The views are fantastic from the restaurant. I ordered the wooloomooloo steak medium rare and when it came it was hard and dry so I had to send it back. Although they got it right the second time it is still disappointing for a steak restaurant to get this wrong. The food itself (steak, sides, dessert) was good.

As it turns out, this promotion is exactly the same menu but *more* expensive than the normal set lunch. To the management: Please do not use a festival such as HK Restaurant Week to simply try and increase your revenue. It is deceitful and you have lost my trust.
