Haven’t been in such traditional Chinese restaurants for a very long time. Feel good of the old feeling but also not easy to get a table as you have to manage in your own 🤣 Dim sum….. 燒賣 & 蓮蓉包 — really GOOD. Must try ! 雞朼 — good 煎蘿蔔糕 & 咖喱魷魚豬皮魚蛋 — NOT recommend Staffs is friendly If you want to feel the old school time, let’s come over as price is fair

First-time experienced dim sum and it is truly traditional Hong Kong. The staff will push different dishes past your table, and if you like something, you just take it and eat. The staff will mark it on your card, and then you bring the marked card to the cashier counter for payment. The food is quite delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The place is quite crowded.

Dropped by by chance and had my weekend family lunch there. The decor, setting and services all remain at the 1980's when I was still a child. No front desk and look for tables yourselves, dim sum cart and booth, stamps on the table card, sharing tables...you name it. It's pretty reminiscent of my childhood life. Food is average but that's exactly the way and the taste of childhood. In particular i love the milk pudding in coconut, just a few places still offer this. I like them all.

Delicious, fresh dim sum on the 4th floor of the building. Tea is very very fresh; lots of golden taste. When ordering dim sum, you have to go up to the front and tell the lady what you want. There is no menu, and no English anywhere. So if you don't know Cantonese, or don't come prepared with pictures of food you want, you're kind of screwed.

Dim sum was so so. They serve the traditional dim sum with the carts carrying the dishes. But alot of people go to the carts to pick up the dishes as there aren't many carts running. There is a cooking station in the 3rd floor hall. We had to go to the 3rd floor from the 4th floor in order to get the food ww want. Re service. I understand that they are busy at lunch time but the server had a bad attitude towards the customers. We were not treated politely. Reception and other staffs are ok. Heard that customer service in Hong Kong is bad since the Pandemic. I agree after visiting this place. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to tourists.

Most bizarre experience. Took the elevator up to the 4th floor to get sent back down to the 3rd. Walked in and no one is there to great you but there are many people walking around. It’s a total chaotic scene. I notice people walking around carrying trays of food and thought “Wow, lots of people work here.” After getting seated for our party of 10+ I noticed no carts being pushed around. Hm…so curious…my aunt asks if there is a menu or paper to order dim sum from and the worker says oh it’s over there, go get it yourself! Hahaha! Then all of a sudden I get it! People walking around with trays are customers going to a food station along with your “ticket” and queuing up to pick up dim sum! Like a buffet style system but you point and they put it onto your tray. Honestly it was a strange experience and no different from getting dim sum from a grab and go place and kicking it in a park to eat it. The only thing they provided us with is plates, utensils, cups and tea. As for the food?… very bland and nothing spectacular. Was a pretty disappointing dim sum dining, we won’t be going back. I’m sure the locals love it as a hang out but I wish the food were better. As you can see from my photo our lazy Susan was pretty full of the standard dim sum and nothing was tasty. We got out of there after spending $750HKD and decided to grab a snack elsewhere. Boo…

Convenient located traditional Chinese dim sum restaurant. The dim sum is hot and freshly served with wide variety. The deep fried wonton with sweet & sour sauce is my favourite and a must try item.

Authentic place!!! Dim sum from the carts, you have to take your table receipt and approach them and they will stamp a card. There’s no reservation for normal meals so just walk in and find a table. Service is so efficient, and would be good to know someone who can speak Cantonese.

Confusing place. Went to the 2nd floor, walk around asking staff table for two, finally was sent to the 3rd floor. Got a number, anger receptionist man called out number in Cantonese but I only understand English. So every time he calls out a number I would wave my number. Got seated, lady server set up the table. Luckily there was a man sever who notice the tea cup was dirty and replace it for us. Then he showed us how to cleanse our plates, bowls, spoons, and chopsticks using the hot tea from the teapot. I thought there would be a push cart going around where we can choose our food. Instead there is one main cart towards the receptionist where you would line up and choose the dim sum steamers that would be placed on a tray for you to carry back to the table. Taste was below average for a known Dim Sum restaurant. Thank You for the man server who very helpful.

this place tells a lot about hongkong. the yam char culture at its most authenticity. always packed because people tend to hang around for long hours, and that's basically how the locals spend their mornings. sharing of table is always an option. food is very good honestly, push cart waitress will come to you, or you can walk to them. the pastries are really delectable. it doesn't have to be the best to earn a 5 stars.

Large, old Restaurant, where you can still choose your Dim Sum from push carts. They also have some live stations on the side on the 3rd floor. The 4th floor is less busy, but the push carts are less frequent. Now that Covid-19 mode is over, there are more tables. Seating is closer together and small groups are asked to share tables.

Been to this restaurant 3 times and it's always packed. Be ready to queue. Very typical Tim Sum restaurant in HKG where you get to enjoy the "olden days" kind of feel. Some of the older staff still carry the kind of attitude that makes you feel annoyed. Food quality isn't that good comparing to years back. These days, you have to walk to get your food and they have spilt levels (3rd and 4th floor) for different varieties. Can be quite confusing. Will consider to return for the roasted pigeon.

Typically Cantonese restaurant. The dim sums are really high quality and affordable. There are also plenty of choices, including really tranditional dishes like 錦鹵雲吞. Since it was really crowded, it was very noisy, yet not as bad as a pub where you can't even hear what your friends are saying. They mainly serve in two floors with 3/F which is where the fresh food counter is located and tables are shared between different parties. 4/F floor tables are non-sharing. Not much service, but is expected of Chinese restaurants.

Very traditional Cantonese restaurant. Popular for their dim sum tea for breakfast and afternoon tea. Decor is very traditional but a bit worn out. Reminds me a lot of childhood memories though. Service is average. They have a wide variety of traditional dim sum to choose from and taste authentic. I will come here once a while to have the dim sum (Yum cha ) highly recommended if you want to taste traditional dim sum.

Went there for breakfast, It was super crowded with elderly. Typical HK morning tea session. You need to get your dim sum from the counter. While some is push cart to you. Dim sum was average nothing amazing, a few hit and misses. Need to clear your bills before 11am for a cheaper price for some items.

Good but nothing out of the ordinary. Cart service came around often enough and you can go up to front for more like the fried foods. They even have a station for pan frying turnip cakes and for making fresh scallion pancakes.

I wanted to taste a chinese 早餐 (breakfast) and this restaurant did not disappoint me. Love the Hacao, Chicken Feet, Pork Buns, Spare Ribs and their rice tastes so good (rice orders starts at 10am onwards). Shout out to the guy who assisted us, so accommodating thank you.

I met this colleague when I worked for Avaya Thailand. She is from Avaya Hong Kong and she was in Bangkok to help out with the project. She is very professional, friendly and easy going. I also enjoyed speaking Cantonese with her. I missed speaking Cantonese with friends. I definitely need to catch up with her if I'm in Hong Kong. She knows that I like having yum cha with carts, so she suggested to come to this place for the traditional style yum cha. It's only the two of us, so we didn't ordered a lot. But one thing I found rather interesting is that I don't have to wait for the cart to order the dim sum. I can walk over to the kitchen entrance to order the dim sum. My friend said one of the signature dishes is the milk pudding in the coconut. The texture is really smooth. Yum.

We stumbled across this restaurant in Mong Kok. It's very local but the food is good and you can take your own alcohol and no extra cost. Staff are friendly enough but don't expect politeness. Have been a couple of times now and I do like it.

Great food. The empty dishes and cups can be more clean though. Need to ask the waitress to give us more cleaned ones.

Birthday Anniversary of the birth of a person (or an institution) For other uses, see Birthday (disambiguation). A birthday is the anniversary of the birth of a person, or figuratively of an institution. Birthdays of people are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with birthday gifts, birthday cards, a birthday party, or a rite of passage. Many religions celebrate the birth of their founders or religious figures with special holidays (e.g. Christmas, Mawlid, Buddha's Birthday, and Krishna Janmashtami).
